This Wendy's is bustling - the inside was dead with about 3 people waiting in line when I ran in to go to the bathroom. My husband was going through the drive-through which took forever to get a single frosty bc there were about 6 cars in front of us. The lady working the drive-through window was super unfriendly and our frosty looked like it had been made when we ordered it and sat for 10 minutes while the other cars were helped first before we got to the window. It was halfway melted... wtf. Not friendly, melted frosty, long line. Not super easy to get in and out of from the street either so probably would avoid this next time. read more

I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and received one without tomato, mayo, and barley any lettuce. When I went to request mayo they said "we don't have any". I was also missing honey mustard and they responded "we don't have that". I was surprised because when I originally ordered I asked for honey mustard and they said "okay". I feel like it would have been a better experience if the employee taking my order had just been honest about what they did and did not have. Honestly, sometimes all I have to look forward to is a good meal. All I wanted was a nice spicy chicken sandwich. I don't ask for much. I don't cause scenes in restaurants and I don't treat employees with disrespect. I would have been understanding if those things were not available. Pretty bummed about my meal . INCREDIBLY slow staff! Staff are guaranteed to forget to at least one item of your order when bagging. Visited them twice in one week and had both orders botched. I will NEVER go to this place again. Don't go unless you have 20 minutes to spare waiting in line and don't care about your order accuracy. read more

This will be a pretty simple review. The staff was courteous, got our order correct and everything was hot and exceeded our expectations. Exterior and interior of building could use some upgrading but I would revisit this location again mainly because of the staff. read more

This location is one of the better Wendy's to go to, don't go to the other one on Pantops. This one actually cares about their customers, they keep the kitchen clean and everything else they actually follow food safety protocols. It's a really nice location too compared to the nightmare one on Pantops and if you're into horror movies well let me tell you it would be the equivalent of a slasher film on your stomach if you ate at the Pantops location I saw this from experience. Fast food is bad for you anyways but definitely don't go to one where they don't follow food safety protocols which are common sense to be honest I was trained in food safety so I know what you should and shouldn't do and trust me you shouldn't do a lot of things that the workers at Pantops do read more

Patience! You're gonna need a whole lot of patience if you come here. Drive through takes at least 10 minutes every time I go (no, seriously), but the crispy chicken sandwiches are bussing. Serve is hit-or-miss, but lately, waiting to order feels like an eternity. Just for a chicken sandwich?? Damn! Do me a favor and order their crispy chicken sandwiches (add tomato) and tell me that isn't delicious. You can get two crispy chickens with tomato for $3. I'm very impressed with the improvement of service at this Wendy's. There used to be a long wait despite the fact they had plenty of staff behind the counter. The food is hot and fresh. I appreciate the assistant manager at this location particularly. She is kind, courteous and gets your order out STAT! I'll be visiting this Wendy's often now! read more

It is a good thing we were charging nearby and weren't in a hurry. Placed a simple order for two people and it took twice as long to get it than to actually eat it. And, of course, both burgers had to be sent back for correct condiments only to get it wrong again...but not willing to wait even longer. No one there had a fire in their belly. This is the worst Wendy's. I ordered tenders and it came not cooked problem . When I asked a refund, the manager was very rude to me and told me I had eaten some of it already. I guess the manager does not know that food needs to be cooked. I am worried about my health after eating the uncooked food. She then rudely asked me to leave to the restaurant. This is the worst Wendy's ever, and I recommend that you go to the one on Pantops. A while back I ordered a Caesar salad once and they gave me a pecan salad. I'm allergic to pecans and I'm glad I checked my bag. My husband keeps insisting on going here. Today I had to yell at the drive thru box because the guy keeps saying they can't hear me. My throat hurts after repeating my order five times. I just saw two cars u turn around through the drive thru because their orders were wrong. This is the fastest drive-thru I have ever visited. I go there twice a week. Even at lunch rush, I order at the little window, and by the time I pull up to the window the car just in front of me has already gotten their food and driven off. The people are pleasant. I think in 100+ visits they've messed up my order maybe once . There's a homeless shelter across the street so you may see some interesting characters inside. There's only one register so that does get quite crowded at lunch time and there's a wait. So sometimes I just hit the super-fast drive-thru, park, and walk in and eat. They have drive-thru down to a science. The one up 29 is terribly slow by comparison. The Pantops one is so-so. If you want a fast, tasty meal in town, it's probably faster to go out of your way to this Wendy's than either of the other two. read more
