Burger is absolute top notch. Their wagyu patties are really good. I do think the sauces and fries might be a little too salty but I think it's ok. In terms of services, if you sit down at a table, a waiter will come to you. If not you can just approach the bar section and get your burger ordered there. It's hectic but the waiters do their best to help you. Even though the surrounding is crowded, it is quite lively and the music is also pretty good. They were playing a lot of kpop music when I was there so it's nice to hear some familiar music. I suggest going early so that it don't get too crowded but you can always just get takeout read more

My friend and I sat at the bar for a late lunch! I have been to two other Jack Brown locations and was excited that Cville had one. I ordered my favorite burger which is the Greg Brady with sweet potato fries. Food came out nice and hot and comes with that delicious thousand island sauce. I was on a school field trip as a chaperone in Charlottesville. Two of the other chaperones decided to go in this place for burgers. It's got kind of a dive bar feel to it, although it was very clean. The service was great, patient and full of knowledge. The burgers were fabulous! A ton of creative and well-made options. The only bad part of the experience, was that they have a chandelier with a bunch of bras hanging from it, which normally wouldn't bother me, but was somewhat awkward when four high school students of mine decided to eat there also. I may be a little bias as I absolutely love the location in Harrisonburg. That being said this place does that location justice. The interior of the bar is interesting to say the least. From the thousands of stickers that cover the walls to the bra chandelier it is truly one of a kind. Food was excellent. I tried the Elvis burger (with peanut butter) while that may scare most average folks this was truly something worth trying. Who would've thought pb on a burger would work? Came here with a group of friends - they have the BEST burgers and a good selection of beer. The Dr. Gonzo burger is delicious - love a good burger with mushrooms and onions, really brings it up a level. The Mollydooker is also incredible if you come on a Monday to try the special. Greg Brady: Burger topped with mac n cheese, American cheese, and bbq potato chips. If you love cheese, you'll love this burger. When biting into it, it felt like I had ordered a mac n cheese with a side of burger. Not saying that's a bad thing, the ooey gooeyness of the mac and cheese paired great with the burger and chips, it's just that it overshadows that classic taste of a burger. The bbq chips were a nice touch. For me, i enjoyed the chips more for the crisp it gave the burger over the flavor. Overall a solid burger. Fried Oreo: lord almighty was it worth it. Indoor and outdoor seating is available, but make sure to get there on the earlier side for dinner to grab a spot. Also, don't have your mind set on the burger of the day as they may run out by the time you order. If you sit outside, service is good with waiters being pretty attentive. Depending on how hungry you are, you may want to consider ordering two burgers. The shocker burger was pretty good, but not as spicy as I thought it would be. I did ask for the shocker sauce on the side (which would have gave it more of a kick), which I'm glad I did as I wasn't really a fan. The burger also came topped with fresh jalapenos and habaneros, as well as pepper jack cheese. The burger was juicy and was sandwiched between a delicious bun. Fries were pretty good. Came here on a Friday night with my friend. The inside is pretty cool. The crowd was a mix between younger and older. I tried the Greg Brady, Ponch, Chiflet, and Fried Oreo.   I thought that the burgers tasted standard and were slightly overpriced at around 9 dollars considering the smaller portion. Plan on ordering at least two burgers here if you want to feel full. The burgers I tried seemed to have only small and subtle differences between them. The Greg Brady had a nice texture in each bite with the potato chips, but I didn't like that they were barbecue flavored potato chips and found that the flavor was overpowering of the actual burger. The Ponch just had an avocado and a chipotle sauce-- nothing really that special or amazing. The Chiflet was my favorite because the runny egg gave the burger a slight savory flavor that distinguished it from the others. In addition, the $1 Fried Oreo that I ordered was awesome and I think that it's definitely worth getting if you find yourself here.   Overall, JB's has a cool atmosphere, good beers, and fun $1 Fried Oreos; however, the burgers were average tasting and slightly overpriced in my opinion. read more

If you're gonna have weird colored hair, maybe try not being a total karen to paying customers.
