I can't complain, about my order My only suggestion is to put a pinch of salt on the meat before you put the American cheese on. It would enhance the flavor. This Wendy's location has been shit for a long time, mostly thanks to abysmally bad service and lack of staff (which, honestly? I get it. They are making garbage money to work a difficult, thankless job where people get mad at them all day. I wouldn't pretend I give a single flying fuck either). But it's gotten to the point now where I can't justify even trying to order from this Wendy's because the food is disgusting. There was a piece of plastic in my burger. Hopefully it was the only one! Because I didn't notice it until I was just about finished. Then I tried to "new" spicy chicken sandwich (and, as we all know, "new recipe" in fast food-speak means "cheaper ingredients but you pay the same price, maybe even more, because fuck you"). It was the single worst item I've ever ordered from Wendy's, period, at this location or others. The chicken was so fucking chewy that I was convinced at first they'd somehow wrapped the ENTIRE THING in plastic. Seriously, it kept separating from the breading! How!? I don't understand what needs to be done to accomplish such a baffling culinary bungling. They also completely botched our order in terms of sizes and toppings, but in 2026 that's basically a given at any fast food joint. I've given up on it. I'll never go back to this location, and really, I may just write off Wendy's as a franchise entirely. Like every other industry in the US, it and other fast food chains are in a frantic race to the bottom. The costs are absurd, the product miserably unfit for consumption, the service nonexistent, the staff checked out and again, I can barely blame them. They clock in to be abused every day, by customers and by management. They often make sub-minimum wage, which itself is nowhere near high enough to live on, and they deal with the community's most entitled assholes screeching in their faces nonstop. Wendy's as a company should be ashamed that they've allowed ANY of their locations to get this bad, but nothing will ever change until your average run-of-the-mill dipshit stops paying for their food anyway. We went to Wendy's only because our grandsons insisted. We had to explain multiple times what we wanted on the simple kids burgers. The order was still wrong. I brought them back to the counter and was told the order was correct. I opened the burgers to show they were wrong and showed how they didn't match the receipt. How does a national chain restaurant like Wendy's run out of a produce that is currently being advertised locally? How poorly managed is the restaurant to have this happen? Wendy's is currently advertising their breakfast biscuits for just a buck. Easy to say when you are not really selling them for that price since they conveniently run out of biscuits well before breakfast hours are over. Mobile ordered, didn't have the drink I ordered and instead of calling or telling me when I drove through, I had to point out it wasn't the drink I got and they just said they didn't have it. Then realize they forgot my fries, try to call because all 3 doors are locked, rung for about 2 minutes finally answered said I had to go through the drivethru again (which was all the way to the street) to get my medium fry they missed. Then hung up. Never had bad experiences here, of course you get what you pay for with the food but usually customer service is decent! I was at this location a few days ago and I was very upset with my visit!!!! My food that I ordered was for my family. I got 5 4for4s and I also got 3 number ones I asked for all fresh food. Wendy's store 28 Delhi Pike is one we will never go back too. Employee was cussing in the back another employee told him to watch his language, cussing employee answered I don't give a f***. Employee running the register told the same employee not to touch the nuggets with his hands(I think these ended up on my tray). Then a lady started yelling at the employee running the register and told him she would fire him if she could. Then the manager did fire the employee running the register. All this yelling is being done with customers waiting. Poor management, poor service, inappropriate behavior for all involved especially the manager. wendys store 28 on delhi pike... the last couple times i've been there the hamburger has been dry, like it's been sitting for a while. this time, not only was it dry, but it was cold! The cheese was not even melted. the french fries were cold. they at least remade the hamburger. The pop machine was out of coke in the lobby, asked them to fill my cup from the drive thru window. The cup was handed back with coke all over the cup,didn't even bother to wipe it off. the restaurant was dirty, the floors were sticky, tables were a mess, ketchup was all over the trash cans. The management team at this location lack leadership skills. GM Sam is very unpleasant and lacks common sense. She always plays favorites and does things in an unprofessional way. Let's racist customers say and treat minority minors rudely. On top of all that lies on minor workers. Leaves minors not fully trained just throw them into any task without proper direction. If I could give negative stars I would. This is the poorest run Wendy's I have ever had the displeasure of stepping foot in. I will not ever go to this shit hole again. Two times I had issues that management refused acknowledge or try to correct. Even called the corporate number and nothing was resolved. My experience- waited @ the counter for 8 minutes while the "manager on duty" counted down the one register that was working. Said manager was literally screaming at a 16 year old boy that his drawer was off and he was going to have to pay for what was missing. Poor boy tried to explain to the "manager" that he dropped a one hundred bill into the safe but she just kept on screaming at the poor kid. I asked when it might be possible for me to order a salad and the "manager" stated that no food was leaving the kitchen until she was down counting down the above referenced drawer.
