I am not the biggest fan of a thick burger so normally I would not come here. I came with a group of friends and was still disappointed. The only thing that would make me come back are the martinis and onion rings. Our burger came out and there was plastic still on the lettuce...they did apologize. They gave us an appetizer for free while they remade the burger. The appetizer was ok, but if I had paid for it, it wouldn't have been worth it. The burger itself felt plain and nothing special. They have many different sauces to chose from but was not expecting them to be that much for a small cup. Don't think I would return unfortunately.

Today's lunch was provided by The Turf Club. One of the main reasons I like this spot is because it's old school. Let's get out the good Ol' order pad and actually take someone's order vs point and click on a device. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The building itself hasn't changed, still small, neon signs still hanging and burgers still slinging off the grill.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered two burgers. I personally can only eat half because they are huge. Full of flavor, you can taste them and it's a perfect balance of beef to seasoning. I ordered mine medium well and it was cooked to perfection. The toppings were fresh and crunchy. For the second burger it was cooked well done. It too was cooked perfectly but the added bacon could have been a bit crispier. You could tell it was pre-cooked and refired....it just needed a few more minutes on the grill. Fries and onion rings are delicious and crispy. Prices were a little steep, the bill was almost $50 but, thanks to the Cincy Saver app, it knocked it down to under $20. Worth the stop for this Cincinnati Iconic restaurant.

Paid my first visit to the Turf Club recently and will definitely be back soon. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This was the perfect hole in the wall pub vibe with fast and friendly service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food portions were very generous and the menu offered an almost overwhelming variety but you can't go wrong. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior was also very unique - it is covered in signs and lights.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The Turf Club is an absolute standout, and from the moment you walk in the staff makes you feel right at home. The food alone is worth the trip. I had the bacon grilled cheese with tomato soup and fries alongside the grilled corn, and every single bite delivered. The kind of comfort food that's executed with real care and intention. The drink menu is equally impressive with a rotating selection of monthly specialty martinis that give you a reason to keep coming back and try something new, on top of an already stellar lineup of cocktails. Everything is crafted well and goes down smooth. Great food, great drinks, and a staff that genuinely seems to love what they do. The Turf Club is the full package and deserves a spot at the top of your list.

Back for my usual fave!!! The Filet Mignon Burger, had a first timer with me & he enjoyed the same burger as well!! Why this place does not have a 5 star is beyond me!!! My guess is people DO NOT stick to the simplicity of the burger. If you try to add too much sh** to it your not going to like it !!! So I have some pointers: 1) Do NOT add sh** to it !! Leave burger the way it is! 2) Get your Burger Medium Rare 3) Get the Fries cheap a** they are worth it

    Skip and the crew!

Haven't been to The Turf Club in very long. It exceeded expectations! Everything was great. Great service when we sat at the bar. I customized mine. The onion rings were amazing.

Small place near the downtown area and the Ohio River. Super friendly and helpful staff made the meal memorable as they chatted us up and offered suggestions for the menu and even where to park downtown by the Taft Theater. The room had many old beer signs from various periods that gave the place a cool Neon glow. The food is delicious comfort food but spun up with interesting combinations. I had the Mushroom Goat burger - a half pound burger with portobello mushrooms and goat cheese and red pepper sauce. The burger was huge and cooked perfectly to medium rare. The jalapeño cheese app was also great Good beer and wine list. Full bar. Definitely on my list of places to revisit when in Cincinnati.

My husband and I decided to go to The Turf Club for lunch since we hadn't been there for months. The service was amazing. The burgers were delicious and cooked perfectly. The only issue were the tempura onion rings. They tasted very good, but they were very oily. I had the 8.5 ounce burger with Swiss and the burgundy mushroom sauce. My husband had the 8.5 ounce burger with Swiss and all the veggies with a side of the FogHorn LegHorn sauce. [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you love a divey restaurant with a casual vibe and neon galore, you'll enjoy The Turf Club.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Guy Fieri did.

The best burger I have ever had! Cooked perfectly and you definitely have to get the onion rings! The service is amazing, Becky is the best server I've ever had. I am definitely driving two hours down here to eat.! They definitely have something really good here. The beef is local cooked perfectly and oh my God I ate a half pound burger and I never can finish one.!

    The crab cakes are alright.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The Turf Club may have changed owners and the decor outside is different but I still stand by my earlier review.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The new owner is always there and is a very nice guy. The staff is still top notch and if I lived in Cincinnati this would be the best burger in the world without question.

Very interesting place that we found out about because of their festoon Diners, Drive in's and Dives. Glad we went to experience it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Unique atmosphere, really nice service and the food was interesting and delicious.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I thought this place was rumored to be closed or closing?? Is it open?

It was sold to a new owner. He comes with many years of experience in the restaurant business. My husband and I have dined there since he took over and had a great experience.

    Is it handicap accessible?

I was there August 2018, not accessible at this time.

Whats the best time for a group of 6 or more?

Get there early when they open or Sundays can be easier to get in, there's always a line

We had a large party, and our waiter, Lil D, didn't miss a beat. He was super friendly, attentive, and always seemed to be right there whenever we needed something. The cars that move around on the ceiling are currently down while they're being repainted, but that's always one of our favorite features when we visit. Our food came out hot and delicious. The Jiffy Burger is one of my favorites! I always ask for the peanut butter on the side because they tend to be a little generous with it on the burger. They also sang for our birthday girl and brought her a complimentary bowl of ice cream, which was a fun touch. The only suggestion I'd make is to skip the extremely loud horn sound when someone at the bar leaves a tip or when the staff comes out to sing for birthdays. It's really loud and can be pretty distracting. We also love the fun car-themed sinks in the bathrooms and the automotive-themed napkin holders and food wraps. They have a cute selection of swag, too, including T-shirts, cups, hats, and more. We'll definitely be back!

I found myself halfway through the signature burger, marveling at the assembly--not a bolt out of place, everything in its proper station and the lettuce crisp as a cold-rolled steel sheet. A man appreciates a system that functions without chatter or delay. Sitting here near the assembly plant's ghost, I couldn't help but admire the vintage fittings; they've managed to capture the spirit of progress without the clutter of modern inefficiency. My wife has a constitution that demands specific care, and the server handled her requirements with the precision of a master machinist, wasting no time on unnecessary pleasantries but delivering exactly what was ordered. The restrooms, surprisingly, have a sense of humor, though humor is a luxury I generally leave to the salesmen. It is a good price for an honest meal, constructed with a respect for speed that would make a production line foreman nod in approval. It is a well-oiled operation and I shall return to see if they can maintain this level of output." And normal: From the moment i stepped in... the atmosphere hit me like a wave. It was a perfect blend of vintage charm and modern sophistication with antiques that told stories of a bygone era. The restrooms while quirky, added a unique touch to the experience. What truly stood out was the service. It was swift and efficient, with our server going above and beyond to accommodate my wife's allergies. Grant our server did amazing job ! I ordered the Ford signature burger, and it was an absolute masterpiece. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the quality was exceptional. The presentation was top-notch, and the speed at which it arrived was impressive. This was one of the best burgers I've ever had, and i couldn't be more satisfied with my dining experience. Overall, Ford's Garage is a must-visit for anyone looking for a high-quality, efficient, and enjoyable meal. The prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is truly special. i highly recommend this place to anyone who loves food and wants to experience a unique dining experience. - Atmosphere: 9/10 - Food Quality: 9/10 - Service/Flow: 10/10 - Value: 8/10 - Would Return: Yes. Sammi, our server, did bring me a small dish of additional sauce when asked. I love poutine, but would not order this again for reasons mentioned. Overall, the food was good, however, they charged $10 each for draft beer, including the house TOB beer! This was shocking to see on our receipts and is much higher than draft beer in some big cities. They do have a huge selection, but this seems at least a couple of dollars over the top. Our server, Sammi, did a great job, which we appreciated.

Let me just say there's a reason they've been here so long. They keep their restaurant clean, the staff is so pleasant, immediate service and the food is even better than I remember. We thoroughly enjoyed her personality and service! She told us she was new there and let me say she might have been new but seemed like a seasoned pro! I ordered the Cobb salad and asked for light blue cheese and ranch instead of vinaigrette and Elly was so thoughtful and brought the cheese on the side so I could add what I want. It did not disappoint! Everything was fresh! The eggs were boiled perfectly! The chicken was flavorful and tender! Hubby got the Sunday special which was Chicken Pesto Pasta with the most delicious garlic bread! (I tasted it ) He normally never eats the bread that comes with meals but after tasting it he gobbled it down. Bummer-I would have gladly eaten it for him He loved the dish too and said it was delicious and tasted very flavorful, not salty at all. The couple we went with ordered Fish and Chips (substituted regular fries for sweet potato fries) and he loved every bite. He said the Cod was perfectly cooked, moist and flaky on the inside and had a crispy crunch on the outside. He loved whatever seasoning was on his fries. It looked like it might have been fresh finely chopped parsley with something else but he said it was very flavorful and added a nice touch. His wife got the Sunday special as well with a gluten bun instead of the garlic bread. She loved her meal. We couldn't go without getting some cheesecake to go for later!
