Paid my first visit to the Turf Club recently and will definitely be back soon. This was the perfect hole in the wall pub vibe with fast and friendly service. The food portions were very generous and the menu offered an almost overwhelming variety but you can't go wrong. The interior was also very unique - it is covered in signs and lights.

Today's lunch was provided by The Turf Club. One of the main reasons I like this spot is because it's old school. Let's get out the good Ol' order pad and actually take someone's order vs point and click on a device. The building itself hasn't changed, still small, neon signs still hanging and burgers still slinging off the grill. We ordered two burgers. I personally can only eat half because they are huge. Full of flavor, you can taste them and it's a perfect balance of beef to seasoning. I ordered mine medium well and it was cooked to perfection. The toppings were fresh and crunchy. For the second burger it was cooked well done. It too was cooked perfectly but the added bacon could have been a bit crispier. You could tell it was pre-cooked and refired....it just needed a few more minutes on the grill. Fries and onion rings are delicious and crispy. Prices were a little steep, the bill was almost $50 but, thanks to the Cincy Saver app, it knocked it down to under $20. Worth the stop for this Cincinnati Iconic restaurant.

The Turf Club is an absolute standout, and from the moment you walk in the staff makes you feel right at home. The food alone is worth the trip. I had the bacon grilled cheese with tomato soup and fries alongside the grilled corn, and every single bite delivered. The kind of comfort food that's executed with real care and intention. The drink menu is equally impressive with a rotating selection of monthly specialty martinis that give you a reason to keep coming back and try something new, on top of an already stellar lineup of cocktails. Everything is crafted well and goes down smooth. Great food, great drinks, and a staff that genuinely seems to love what they do. The Turf Club is the full package and deserves a spot at the top of your list.

Back for my usual fave!!! The Filet Mignon Burger, had a first timer with me & he enjoyed the same burger as well!! Why this place does not have a 5 star is beyond me!!! My guess is people DO NOT stick to the simplicity of the burger. If you try to add too much sh** to it your not going to like it !!! So I have some pointers: 1) Do NOT add sh** to it !! Leave burger the way it is! 2) Get your Burger Medium Rare 3) Get the Fries cheap a** they are worth it

Haven't been to The Turf Club in very long. It exceeded expectations! Everything was great. Great service when we sat at the bar. I customized mine. The onion rings were amazing.

Small place near the downtown area and the Ohio River. Super friendly and helpful staff made the meal memorable as they chatted us up and offered suggestions for the menu and even where to park downtown by the Taft Theater. The room had many old beer signs from various periods that gave the place a cool Neon glow. The food is delicious comfort food but spun up with interesting combinations. I had the Mushroom Goat burger - a half pound burger with portobello mushrooms and goat cheese and red pepper sauce. The burger was huge and cooked perfectly to medium rare. The jalapeño cheese app was also great Good beer and wine list. Full bar. Definitely on my list of places to revisit when in Cincinnati.

My husband and I decided to go to The Turf Club for lunch since we hadn't been there for months. The service was amazing. The burgers were delicious and cooked perfectly. The only issue were the tempura onion rings. They tasted very good, but they were very oily. I had the 8.5 ounce burger with Swiss and the burgundy mushroom sauce. My husband had the 8.5 ounce burger with Swiss and all the veggies with a side of the FogHorn LegHorn sauce. If you love a divey restaurant with a casual vibe and neon galore, you'll enjoy The Turf Club. Guy Fieri did.

The best burger I have ever had! Cooked perfectly and you definitely have to get the onion rings! The service is amazing, Becky is the best server I've ever had. I am definitely driving two hours down here to eat.! They definitely have something really good here. The beef is local cooked perfectly and oh my God I ate a half pound burger and I never can finish one.!

    The crab cakes are alright.

The Turf Club may have changed owners and the decor outside is different but I still stand by my earlier review. The new owner is always there and is a very nice guy. The staff is still top notch and if I lived in Cincinnati this would be the best burger in the world without question.

Very interesting place that we found out about because of their festoon Diners, Drive in's and Dives. Glad we went to experience it. Unique atmosphere, really nice service and the food was interesting and delicious.

The food was great, the martinis were even better! I will say Bobby Jo made our experience amazing. She really seemed like she enjoyed her job and was very informative, talkative, and friendly. This a great place for a burger and an affordable martini. Highly recommend Bobby Jo's burger and the banana martini!

Great place to visit to get a good burger and a picture of old cincinnati. For a burger place it is a bit more pricy.

I thought this place was rumored to be closed or closing?? Is it open?

It was sold to a new owner. He comes with many years of experience in the restaurant business. My husband and I have dined there since he took over and had a great experience.

    Is it handicap accessible?

I was there August 2018, not accessible at this time.

Whats the best time for a group of 6 or more?

Get there early when they open or Sundays can be easier to get in, there's always a line

They also had good, homemade or freshly made sides like potato salad and other salads you could get. It was great.

I had heard that their pop-up dinners sell out very quickly so I was ready the day they were posted and grabbed a few spots for one of their February dates. We arrived and were greeted with a glass of Prosecco and then we found a seat at the long community table set for 20; it was so much fun getting to know the people seated next to us! Dinner was delicious! Four courses-the gnocchi with sausage was our favorite dish of the night.

If you follow them on socials, you can score a seat at the pop-ups. The place is an old house with a lot of character. The food for carryout is fantastic and their bread is fantastic. We live in West Chester and have driven down to there a few times just to pick up delicious dinners. We just attended our first dinner there last Tuesday. Oh My Goodness! What a treat. Jordan greeted us with a glass of Prosecco and directed us where to sit a long table that seats 20. We introduced ourselves to our seatmates and then our first dish arrived. Chef does explain the food before we had each dish, however we wished there was more background and history as to how this place came into being. So expect fantastic food without a lot of details. The first dish was a salad made with all local ingredients. It was so fresh and the dressing made with fresh dill was fantastic. The second dish was a ravioli with northern Italian cheese on a bed of butternut squash puree and brown butter. The pasta was SO delicate and the flavors complimented each other so well. The third dish was a 6 hour braised pork shoulder with ricotta gnocchi in a sauce with Calabrian chilis and I don't know what else. We have been to Italy and all the Italian restaurants in Cincinnati and never had anything like this. It was truly phenomenal. Dessert was a apple upside down cake served warm with whipped cream...fantastic. You bring your own wine, and Jordan is on it by never letting your glass get empty, pouring water, and clearing dishes. Service was so great and she is so friendly and accommodating. The cost was a very reasonable $100/pp and SO worth it. There is no menu, so you go in just devouring what Chef has prepared.

Our experience was good, but seemed a little more low-frills than in past visits. We were served water once and then not again- sat without refills for most of the meal. We ordered quickly and the food came out fast! Our server came back to ask "had anyone taken payment yet?" And did so with a card reader right at the table, which felt a little clunkier but no big deal. The wonderful part of the food is the local sourcing. Everything is really high quality! The taste was just okay, I was a little underwhelmed but I enjoyed the lunch enough! I ordered the avocado toast. The bread was thin and a little soggy from what I think was the ember sauce, although I am not sure what that is as I didn't get a lot of flavor through! The egg and avocado were perfect with a yummy hemp heart topping. The salad took up most of the plate but was plain greens with a little dressing and celery pieces. A little bitter for most of the bites! I guess my expectations were a little higher for one of cincy's premier brunch places and I just found the meal "okay". Lastly, parking can be a challenge here! It's only paid street parking on the surrounding streets, but it's such a nice pretty area that parking and walking is often a lovely part of the experience.
