The burgers and chicken sandwiches here are far superior to the offerings of any national chain l, with the possible exception of a properly staffed and operating Culver's - the one in Winston is not one of those, the one in Kernersville most certainly is. The number of locals spots that rival the offerings here is very small. I ordered each of my favorite items here - Bacon Cheeseburger and the Crispy, Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich. The time in line here are generally a bit longer than the larger chains, but still around 10 minutes. The burger was excellent and well sized as alway, these folks just know how to make a great burger. And the crispy, spicy chicken sandwich is as good as anyone's, including the cult one at Popeyes! Utensils were being reused between gluten and gluten-free items, and surfaces didn't appear to be cleaned properly between orders. It was honestly a sanitation nightmare, especially for anyone with medical dietary restrictions. Even my kids -- who are not celiac -- were turned off by how unclean everything looked. It's one thing to make a mistake, but to claim that your establishment is safe for gluten-free diners when it's clearly not is misleading and potentially dangerous. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone who has celiac disease, gluten intolerance, or any kind of food sensitivity.
