Hot Honey Chicken, crinkle fries, Cheddar Cheese Sauce

We love Sammy's Sliders! However, I was so hesitant to try this place because it's never really "busy" the times that we've been (minus that one 99¢ slider day-they were packed!). It's an interesting little place where you order at the counter and your food is delivered to the table. It's never that long of a wait. You serve your own drink and get your own condiments (ketchup, mayo, lemon juice, malt vinegar, etc.) My husband always gets the tenders and slider combo with the Yellowstone slider. He's a hand cut fry guy, and I'm a crinkle cut girl, with a cup of cheese sauce. I prefer the hot honey slider combo. So so good! The workers are always on task and working to cook, take orders, clean, etc. They're never just hanging around. The vibe of the place is different. There are TVs around the restaurant and a combination of booth-table seating and table seating. Just because they aren't lined out the door, don't be fooled. This place is tasty!

Even better the second time around and this place just might be our new favorite go to burger/chicken sandwich spot! You have to try out this hand cut fries- might just be the best in town

The slides were good and so was the tenders big too but the hand-cut fries were really my favorite! I ate them all before I ate anything else. They were recently taken out of the menu but I'm so happy they brought them back!!!!

Stopped in a few nights ago for my burger fix and it didn't disappoint! I appreciate the ease of ordering at the counter then delivery to the table. I ordered the 2 slider with fries meal. I love crinkle cut fries but definitely should've ordered the hand cut fries. The employees were also checking on folks while eating and the space was super clean. Also worth noting they sell family packs of tenders!

Trying another new place off my Yelp collections and I wasn't disappointed. Sammy's smells good all the way in the parking lot and had my stomach growling before I even walked in. The menu is a bit overwhelming at first with so many options, but they have it nicely broken down into different categories. Of course there's the sliders as the name suggests, but there's also a variety of chicken products, hotdogs, and salads. I had the Combo 1, which includes two sliders of your choice and a side item. I elected for the Yellowstone cowboy slider and the mushroom Swiss slider, with the hand cut fries as a side. They also offer crinkle cut fries, but the employee suggested that the hand cut is made in store and were her favorite, and I will agree that they were definitely very good, with a generous size serving. Both of the sliders were very tasty, although the Yellowstone cowboy was a bit messy with the barbecue sauce and cheddar cheese sauce spilling off when you took a bite. The serving size of the combo was very generous I ended up leaving some fries behind because I got full. My wife opted for the buffalo chicken salad, and it was similarly served with a generous portion, fresh cooked chicken, and fresh ingredients. Their ranch dressing tastes like it is made in house and was very good. It took about ten minutes to receive out order, and they brought it to the table. I will say that the cleanliness could use a bit of work, because I noted that the floor was sticky in several places, the tables felt sticky, and the soda fountain area was pretty messy. However, during my meal I saw multiple employees actively cleaning, so perhaps it was just a poor moment and I'm not going to deduct a star since they were clearly working on it. Something I'll keep an eye out for on my next visit to see if it's an ongoing issue.

Used Sammy's sliders for my recent baby shower because who doesn't want sliders at their baby shower? They were absolutely delicious. I messaged ahead to be sure they wouldn't be bombarded the day of with my large order and I was able to order over the phone. It was a little chaotic as the day of they called to confirm and then asked what I ordered because they didn't know. It wasn't ready at the pickup time but they were able to get it done very fast! They did forget some sauces but overall not a big deal. Overall it was a good experience that a little chaotic towards the end.

Big, big fan of Sammy's Sliders!! We visited on a Saturday for lunch and honestly I was shocked at how good this spot was. They were slammed but it wasn't chaotic if that makes sense. It's fast casual so you order at the front and have your food delivered to your table. It was quite easy to find a seat even with so many people and the food came out quickly. Usually when you think about sliders, they can come off as dry (at least to me). These were anything but. We got an assortment of both classic and gourmet beef and chicken sliders (our crew always wants to try everything) and every single slider was unique and delicious. And trust me, you'll never run out of options. My favorite part of the meal was the specialty fries they offer. We got the Buffalo chicken, Big Mac, and taco fries and again, absolutely delicious. The manager came and talked to us which added a nice personal touch. This is definitely a spot I'll come back to for catering or just a fast lunch/dinner!

Tucked away in the same shopping center as Academy Sports & Taco Mama, I feel on the fence about this place. We went during lunch time and I also thought it was closed because nobody was there. We went in and were promptly greeted and ordered. I got combo one that comes with two sliders, fries and a drink. The BBQ chicken sliders was good. Nice thick cut of chicken and the sauce is very tasty. The fish fillet was tasteless. It's big for a slider but was pretty bland. My fries looked mostly old and kinda overcooked. The tea wasn't good either. A couple to go orders trickled in but nobody else stayed there. I personally wasn't impressed.

The formerly MiFrii has rebranded to Sammy Sliders and I'd definitely say this was a great change. My husband and I went on a Friday evening during their dinner rush and they were hoppin'. The kitchen was cranking out food and the sweet lady who took our order was great and very patient with us as we tried to decide among so many yummy sounding options. I decided on the OG Slider/hot dog combo with hand cut fries and Honey Mustard. My husband got the Two Slider/two finger combo with natural cut fries. His sliders were Yellowstone Cowboy, and the American-the Classic cheeseburger. He got the Hot Honey and an extra BBQ sauce on the side. My slider was really tasty! I didn't pay attention but I should have ordered the one my husband got because I would have liked lettuce and tomato added but it was still a solid burger and as sliders go, a nice portion. My hot dog was an all beef quality hot dog with the bun toasted. They have limited hot dog toppings(no relish available) but that's ok. I don't care for slaw on my hotdogs but that's an option for those fans of the Carolina all the way style. My fries were awesome and I'd order them again because hand cut fries are my favorite. The portions were large and I couldn't finish all my hot dog or my fries. Luckily my husband finished my hot dog for me. My husband's Yellowstone Cowboy burger had a cheese sauce and BBQ sauce on it but it was all inside the small onion ring that's on the burger. When he lifted the onion ring up to let the sauce spread to the whole burger patty, there wasn't much there. Luckily he had an extra side of BBQ so he just added a little more. Just an FYI if you like it a little more dressed. His natural cut fries were crispy and good, like skin on McDonalds fries but I still preferred my hand cut fries better. I like the ambiance of Sammy's Sliders. It's open and bright but the mural on the wall looks like a Disney character and doesn't really go with the vibe in my opinion. I'd get rid of the big guy on the wall and highlight the cool slider logo they have going on. Otherwise the decor inside is great. Sammy's will definitely be a spot to return to for me.

My partner and I stopped by Sammy's Sliders this weekend for a quick lunch. This was my first time at this establishment. If you are looking for a burger, hot dog, chicken sandwich, or salad, they have you covered. I got the cowboy burger with A1, provolone, and sauteed onions. There was likely too much onion on the slider, as it came gushing out at one point. The other slider I got, the Philly cheese steak, was good and seasoned well. I could have stood for a bit more meat between the buns, though. My partner got a buffalo chicken salad, and she reported it delicious, and I also felt the same way. Our meal was $30. She got a salad and drink, while I got two sliders, fries and a drink. While $30 is a common lunch price in this day for lunch, I felt like her salad was a better value than the sliders; while they were flavorful, they could have stood to be more "full," whereas her salad was packed with crispy buffalo chicken, cheese, croutons, cucumber, and lettuce.

We decided to check Sammy's out on a recent Saturday in January. We enjoyed it so much, we went back the following weekend as well! On our first visit, we did not know exactly what to expect but knew they were associated with East Coast Wings + Grill, Sammy G's Tavern, Fratellis Italian Steakhouse and Three Bulls American Steakhouse. We also knew Sammy's opened in early December of 2023 after the closing of Myfrii. We walked right up to the menu counter. The place feels like what I would call fast casual. You order at the counter and they bring the food out to you. They had just opened for the day and there were several other tables already seated inside. There also seems to be a steady stream of to go orders as well. My wife and I needed a few minutes and asked a few questions before we made our choices. The menu consists of combinations of different creations of burger or chicken sliders, chicken fingers, hot dogs and salads. They also have several different types of fries and onion rings, dipping sauces and ice cream shakes. My wife chose the fajita salad and I chose the Combo 1 which allows you to pick two sliders, served with your choice of fries, a dipping sauce and a 20 oz fountain drink. I was asked if I was a veteran (I was wearing my Navy hat), to which I replied yes and they thanked me for my service and gave us a 10% discount. I appreciate so much when a business does something for veterans. Veterans were willing to give it all and acknowledging that with a 10% discount is a nice gesture! We had a seat and waited for our meals to arrive. When they did, a short while later, we were very impressed. The Bacon Mania and Yellowstone Cowboy sliders along with the hand cut fries all looked delicious. My wife was also really happy with her salad. We both commented throughout our meal how much we liked everything. On our second trip my wife was eager to get her own Combo and decided on the Hot Honey Chicken slider and the mushroom and Swiss slider with sweet potato fries. I decided to get two of the Yellowstone Cowboy sliders again with the hand cut fries. My wife really loved the Hot Honey Chicken slider and the sweet potato fries. She thought the beef slider was good but the chicken slider was the clear winner for her. I again loved my sliders and hand cut fries as well. We really like Sammy's Sliders and are excited to keep it in our normal rotation of weekend stops. The prices are very reasonable, the staff are friendly and attentive, and the restaurant is clean and well organized.

Met a former colleague here for dinner on a weeknight. I've dined here before on a couple of…read moreoccasions, but it appears I've never posted a review so here goes. I didn't expect the restaurant to be busy on a weeknight, but I was obviously wrong as the parking lot was nearly full. We found a spot at the rear of the restaurant and made our way inside. We were promptly greeted and shown to our table near the fireplace. A quick glance around confirmed that the place was jumping, which is good news for any restaurant during the middle of the week. A good balance of menu options from salads, sandwiches, fish, steaks, etc. Expect to pay $20-30 per person and some entrees are ala carte. They appear to have a good selection of wine, beers and cocktails from the long list in the menu. I went with the lasagna; my wife had the fish and chips; and my colleague went with the Beast Burger. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their selection. The temperature of my lasagna could have been a tad hotter, but it wasn't enough of an issue to send it back. I would order it again. Service was good throughout our visit, but I am deducting one star for the noise level. The high ceilings give the restaurant a beautiful lodge look and feel, but they make for a very loud dining experience. The sound level at times was more like a school cafeteria in my opinion. Perhaps a table on the side of the dining room would be quieter where nearby walls could help absorb some of the noise. Bottom line: not the place for a quiet, romantic dinner.

We came with the family for Mother's Day for the first time and really enjoyed it! The reviews and…read morepics looked great so we decided to try it. Here's what we thought: **Goat Cheese Butternut Squash Ravioli** Delicious but my Dad thought it was a little rich. The couple of bites I tried were excellent! The chicken was moist and well seasoned. **Moroccan BBQ Pork Chop** This was the best pork chop I've ever had. Moms agreed! Dad wished he had gotten the pork chop! This was his favorite out of the three meals we tried! **Prime Rib** I had to go all in and got the 12oz. It's the best prime rib I've had in years! They serve it with au jus and creamy horseradish. That creamy horseradish is exactly the way I like it, the au jus was a nice addition and the steak was cooked perfectly! I will definitely order again! This was my favorite out of the three entrees we tried. **Crispy Brussels Sprouts** We weren't as thrilled about these as everyone else. I thought they were dry and needed something more. Maybe they didn't add enough jam and/or balsamic this time? **Chorizo Potato Soup** Very nice! The sausage wasn't too overpowering and I like the creamy broth. Different than anything I've ever had but good.

My original plan was to stop here for lunch on Father's Day before dropping my daughter off at a…read moresummer program at Wake Forest. There was a 20 min wait and we were starving after a long travel day and eager to get to campus so we ate at the mediocre crepes restaurant next door instead. When we picked her up a week later I was prepared with reservations. However, when we checked in they told us they don't take reservations so it must be for their sister restaurant (oops) and the wait was even longer this time. One of the hostesses mentioned there would be seating clearing at the bar within minutes, which was good enough for us. We sat down 3 minutes later and ordered a few minutes after that. My daughter went for a cheeseburger which she happily ate stating that the food at Wake was NOT good all week. My husband enjoyed his turkey club and packed the other half for his flight later that evening (lunch and dinner). I went with the crab cake appetizer, which I thought was just OK. It was only a few dollars cheaper than the sandwich so I probably should have gotten that instead, but didn't want to be tempted with the bread and fries. We were in and out within 30 minutes, which I appreciated since we had a drive to Chapel Hill ahead of us. Overall, it was a solid meal and I'm guessing a favorite for those affiliated with the campus.

No other way to describe it. I also loved the fact they served it with warm and toasted bread pieces.....added another depth of flavor to the entire bite. Entire thing was filled with crab meat as well. I'm used moreso to the chunkier style of crab dip, if that makes any sense, but whatever they did to theirs passed my test. For our entrees, we both opted for burgers. I've been waiting something that isn't a smash burger for quite sometime. No disrespect to smash burgers, but I've been wanting a thick, hand patted burger and they delivered. I ordered the tavern burger with the medium cook and a side of fries. Burger cook was perfect. One thing I loved was that the actual patty had char marks on it & it added more flavor to it. Very juicy and flavorful. Their fries were solid too....crispy yet soft in the middle. My wife got their bacon jam burger with a well done cook and she raved about how juicy it was. The cook was to her preference as well. She wasn't too impressed with the pasta salad as a side, but she did get an order of sweet potato fries and they were great as well. Finished the evening with their carrot cake and key lime pie to go and they were both delicious. Their key lime may be the best I've had in this area. Our server Morgan was awesome as well. Very attentive and helpful with the menu suggestions and explaining the things she personally liked, along with what was popular with other patrons. Their setup is odd....not saying that in a bad way, but its an older building and the layout says that. We were seated very quickly. Again, Morgan was awesome and made sure we were taken care of. The ambiance was good....very apt for a date night. Didn't get the chance to check out any of the other dishes around, but everyone seemed pleased with the service and the food. Will be back again to try some of their other entrees.
