We ordered the 5 Tenders Meal with crinkle fries loaded with bacon and cheese, plus hot honey and Sammy's sauce, and everything came out fresh, crispy, and packed with flavor. The tenders had a really solid crunch without being greasy, and the hot honey added the perfect sweet heat balance. The Meal 3 with 2 sliders and 2 tenders was probably the standout though. The Patty Melt Crunch slider and Sammy's Melt Burger both had that smashed burger flavor with crispy edges that hit perfectly. The "saucy" hot honey combo worked way better than expected, especially with the hand-cut fries and homemade ranch on the side. Even the fries stayed crispy the whole meal, which says a lot. Portion sizes were solid for the price, the food came out quick, and the whole meal had that fresh-made comfort food vibe instead of tasting overly fast-food style. Washed it all down with a Coke and honestly left full and satisfied. If you're in Winston-Salem and craving sliders, tenders, or late comfort food, Sammy's Sliders is definitely worth trying. We love Sammy's Sliders! However, I was so hesitant to try this place because it's never really "busy" the times that we've been (minus that one 99¢ slider day-they were packed!). It's an interesting little place where you order at the counter and your food is delivered to the table. It's never that long of a wait. You serve your own drink and get your own condiments (ketchup, mayo, lemon juice, malt vinegar, etc.) My husband always gets the tenders and slider combo with the Yellowstone slider. He's a hand cut fry guy, and I'm a crinkle cut girl, with a cup of cheese sauce. I prefer the hot honey slider combo. So so good! The workers are always on task and working to cook, take orders, clean, etc. They're never just hanging around. The vibe of the place is different. Trying another new place off my Yelp collections and I wasn't disappointed. Sammy's smells good all the way in the parking lot and had my stomach growling before I even walked in. The menu is a bit overwhelming at first with so many options, but they have it nicely broken down into different categories. Of course there's the sliders as the name suggests, but there's also a variety of chicken products, hotdogs, and salads. I had the Combo 1, which includes two sliders of your choice and a side item. I elected for the Yellowstone cowboy slider and the mushroom Swiss slider, with the hand cut fries as a side. They also offer crinkle cut fries, but the employee suggested that the hand cut is made in store and were her favorite, and I will agree that they were definitely very good, with a generous size serving. Both of the sliders were very tasty, although the Yellowstone cowboy was a bit messy with the barbecue sauce and cheddar cheese sauce spilling off when you took a bite. The serving size of the combo was very generous I ended up leaving some fries behind because I got full. My wife opted for the buffalo chicken salad, and it was similarly served with a generous portion, fresh cooked chicken, and fresh ingredients. Their ranch dressing tastes like it is made in house and was very good. It took about ten minutes to receive out order, and they brought it to the table. I will say that the cleanliness could use a bit of work, because I noted that the floor was sticky in several places, the tables felt sticky, and the soda fountain area was pretty messy. However, during my meal I saw multiple employees actively cleaning, so perhaps it was just a poor moment and I'm not going to deduct a star since they were clearly working on it. Used Sammy's sliders for my recent baby shower because who doesn't want sliders at their baby shower? They were absolutely delicious. I messaged ahead to be sure they wouldn't be bombarded the day of with my large order and I was able to order over the phone. Big, big fan of Sammy's Sliders!! We visited on a Saturday for lunch and honestly I was shocked at how good this spot was. They were slammed but it wasn't chaotic if that makes sense. It's fast casual so you order at the front and have your food delivered to your table. It was quite easy to find a seat even with so many people and the food came out quickly. Usually when you think about sliders, they can come off as dry (at least to me). These were anything but. We went in and were promptly greeted and ordered. I got combo one that comes with two sliders, fries and a drink. The BBQ chicken sliders was good. The formerly MiFrii has rebranded to Sammy Sliders and I'd definitely say this was a great change. My husband and I went on a Friday evening during their dinner rush and they were hoppin'. The kitchen was cranking out food and the sweet lady who took our order was great and very patient with us as we tried to decide among so many yummy sounding options. I decided on the OG Slider/hot dog combo with hand cut fries and Honey Mustard. My husband got the Two Slider/two finger combo with natural cut fries. His sliders were Yellowstone Cowboy, and the American-the Classic cheeseburger. He got the Hot Honey and an extra BBQ sauce on the side. My slider was really tasty! I didn't pay attention but I should have ordered the one my husband got because I would have liked lettuce and tomato added but it was still a solid burger and as sliders go, a nice portion. My hot dog was an all beef quality hot dog with the bun toasted. They have limited hot dog toppings(no relish available) but that's ok. I don't care for slaw on my hotdogs but that's an option for those fans of the Carolina all the way style. My fries were awesome and I'd order them again because hand cut fries are my favorite. The portions were large and I couldn't finish all my hot dog or my fries. Luckily my husband finished my hot dog for me. My husband's Yellowstone Cowboy burger had a cheese sauce and BBQ sauce on it but it was all inside the small onion ring that's on the burger. When he lifted the onion ring up to let the sauce spread to the whole burger patty, there wasn't much there. Luckily he had an extra side of BBQ so he just added a little more. We decided to check Sammy's out on a recent Saturday in January. We enjoyed it so much, we went back the following weekend as well! On our first visit, we did not know exactly what to expect but knew they were associated with East Coast Wings + Grill, Sammy G's Tavern, Fratellis Italian Steakhouse and Three Bulls American Steakhouse. We also knew Sammy's opened in early December of 2023 after the closing of Myfrii. We walked right up to the menu counter. The place feels like what I would call fast casual. You order at the counter and they bring the food out to you. They had just opened for the day and there were several other tables already seated inside. There also seems to be a steady stream of to go orders as well. My wife and I needed a few minutes and asked a few questions before we made our choices. The menu consists of combinations of different creations of burger or chicken sliders, chicken fingers, hot dogs and salads. They also have several different types of fries and onion rings, dipping sauces and ice cream shakes. My wife chose the fajita salad and I chose the Combo 1 which allows you to pick two sliders, served with your choice of fries, a dipping sauce and a 20 oz fountain drink. I was asked if I was a veteran (I was wearing my Navy hat), to which I replied yes and they thanked me for my service and gave us a 10% discount. I appreciate so much when a business does something for veterans. Veterans were willing to give it all and acknowledging that with a 10% discount is a nice gesture! We had a seat and waited for our meals to arrive. When they did, a short while later, we were very impressed. The Bacon Mania and Yellowstone Cowboy sliders along with the hand cut fries all looked delicious. My wife was also really happy with her salad. We both commented throughout our meal how much we liked everything. On our second trip my wife was eager to get her own Combo and decided on the Hot Honey Chicken slider and the mushroom and Swiss slider with sweet potato fries. I decided to get two of the Yellowstone Cowboy sliders again with the hand cut fries. My wife really loved the Hot Honey Chicken slider and the sweet potato fries. She thought the beef slider was good but the chicken slider was the clear winner for her. I again loved my sliders and hand cut fries as well. We really like Sammy's Sliders and are excited to keep it in our normal rotation of weekend stops. Another customer and myself were both waiting for orders to go. We both watched as 4 different completed orders were placed in the window between the kitchen and the servers up front. These orders, in open boxes, just sat there for at least 15 minutes while the 3ceho were up front were just chatting away. Sam Ballas and his partners in ZorAbility decided to change the format of what was Myfrii and renamed it Sammy's Sliders to highlight the emphasis on sliders while retaining 4 of the loaded FF offerings that was the focal point of the previous operation. ZorAbility is made up of Ballas, members involved with Ballas' East Coast Wings Forsyth County franchise operations, and Sammy Gianopoulos, who owns Sammy G's Tavern in High Point, and Fratellis Italian Steakhouse and 3 Bulls American Steakhouse in Forsyth County. Obviously there is a lot of restaurant experience behind this somewhat new venture, or rather new direction for an old venture. There are 16 sliders - 8 beef, 5 chicken. 1 flounder, and 1 falafel. Hand breaded chicken tenders are still available, as are the hand cut FF, and their excellent all ice cream milk shakes! I ordered the OG slider combo- 2 beef sliders, hand cut FF & a soda. The toppings on this slider are American cheese, zesty pickles, and Sammy Sauce on a 3 ounce Angus Beef patty that has never been frozen. The recipes for the sliders here were provided by Sammy G. These sliders were excellent - beef patty nicely grilled, obvious top quality, great flavor. Bun was soft and tasty; sauce was quite nice. FF were top shelf. Service was spot on. Lots of burger and chicken slider options with an la carte menu and mix and match meals. Also on the menu are salads, hot dogs and shakes. I liked the different choices in fries and as a bonus fries were actually crispy and the food was delivered hot. Nice variety for this concept. What I didn't love--- small cramped space... made me want to take my food to go. The a la carte items did not come with sauce, which was a .69 upcharge. I can't stand getting nickeled and dimed, especially when asked what sauce I wanted with my order. To add insult to injury jury, I didn't even get the sauce, I had to go back and ask for it ) After ordering food to eat in, I went back to the counter for a to go order and they brought the milkshake to my table before my food was ready so it got melty while I waited for the food. Then the food was left on the counter, which was confusing after they delivered the shake to me (and yes, I told them it was my first trip in) Overall impressions..... great little spot for a quick bite when you want very casual counter service. It's pricey for what you get. (My to go order of 3 tenders, fries and a milkshake was $17 and they forgot the coleslaw). It feels like they are still trying to get trained and up to speed because of the mistakes but everyone has to start sometime. Yes, myFrii rebranded itself. The proclaimed focus of this eatery is now on the little burgers they serve. With that in mind, the interior of the space has changed little aside from some refreshed decor and new content on the menu boards. Things are otherwise set up just the same: order at the counter, fill your cup at the drink station, then pick your table and post your order number as you wait for the food to arrive. I chose the #1 combo, which included two sliders, an order of fries, and a fountain drink. There are a small number of basic selections for the sliders; more interesting options in the deluxe list are available for an upcharge. I kept it basic by choosing an All-American (cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, mayo) and an OG Sammy's (cheese, pickles, and house sauce). There are a few ways to get the fries as well, but I went with the hand cut selection. There was a bit of a wait as everything is prepared to order, but the delay wasn't outrageous. And after the food arrived, I recall at least three times that a manager checked to see if there was anything I needed -- appreciate that level of attention. The sliders were okay in my book, nothing really distinguishing about their presentation or taste, except that the size, and flavor of the bun seemed a bit overwhelming. Everything else seemed to be lost between the bread. But the fries were the star. Cooked to a beautiful shade of gold, with just the right snap. And the quantity of fries I received was substantial; it made the roughly $12 combo worthwhile. Even the ranch dressing I requested came without additional cost. Maybe the fancier burger options are better. And your mileage may vary. But a place that once capitalized on fries still knows how to excel in that realm, and I'm just not convinced their slider game is elevated to match the output of the fryers. They still have a few tater-centric dishes on the menu, and I'm likely to focus on those in future visits. I nearly went with four stars here. The fries and the service were that good. To be honest I was skeptical at first, but I was impressed by the food. The prices seem high, but are actually comparable to other specialty fries eateries. There wasn't a lot of people in the restaurant so we were able to find out choice of seating. We went on a Wednesday night which kids meals are $1.99 ( at least it was August 2023) if you DINE IN. I personally had the buffalo chicken fries and they were delicious. They use Frank's Red Hot sauce and ranch on the fries. The fries are made to order and you get to choose between natural cut, hand cut, crinkle cut, and I think one other (I forgot, but there is a sign at the register). They have chicken tenders and sliders. The sliders typically come in twos, but you have the option to mix it up. The restaurant was clean and aesthetically appealing, not a wedding anniversary type of place, but rather a good place for a quick bite to eat. I will come back and try something new next time. Stumbled upon this place by accident but read some of the reviews and decided to give it a try. Very clean inside and a lot of variety on the menu. The cashier was very patient while I tried to sort through all their options. Decide on the all American slider and Cali Chicken slider and if you get the option, always go with hand-cut fries. The Cali Chicken was really delicious with its guacamole spread. The all-American was good too but I was a bit put off by the look and texture of the patty. It reminded me of those little plastic burgers that come in play sets. I don't usually buy sliders so maybe this is normal. Just sayin' My only complaint is the metal chairs. They're noisy on the cement floor and for women who wear shorts or a summer dress like I did, the chair sticks to your thighs when you try to get up, then clangs back down when it releases your skin. They had options for not only whether to get them loaded but also on the style of fries: (hand cut, natural cut, crinkle or sweet potato) I ordered the Myfrii Buffalo Chicken Loaded Myfriis which were really good. Next time I'd probably go with the crinkle fries though. Hubby ordered 3 Hot Honey Chicken Sliders which comes with a side of myfriis and one free dipping sauce. They're sweet potato fries were good but none of the sauces really helps them stand out. The flavor on the sliders was really good! The rest of our group also enjoyed their meals: Classic Myfrii Burger Sliders and Myfrii Original Chicken Slider. Definitely would stop here again. read more
