Poorly run. The workers behind the counter looked busy, but they didn't get much done. Our food was cold across the board for 4 diners total, and the large serving of chili was extremely thin and a skimpy portion that didn't fill the bowl. The WORST PLACE EVER!!! Take my advice and stay far, far away. We went for a quick bite and ordered two Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger $5 Biggie bags. We asked for no mayo or mustard. The first order was missing the bacon on each. When I went back to the counter, the young girl was very apologetic and said she would correct it. Fast service and good customer service. For my kiddo who needed his fast-food. Easy to get to in town during the tourist season.

Took 40 minutes to get food after waiting 10 minutes to order (dinner hour). They said that they were swamped, but there were only 10 counter orders ahead of mine. It should take less than 4 minutes to put together an order at the counter. The worker at the counter was over his head (either not trained or forget his training) and the store manager was nowhere to be seen. My order went from pending to ready to off the board without any progress to being fulfilled, so clearly the whole process was broken, and again the shift manager was no where to be seen. read more

We paid 30 dollars for 2 meals. I'm not in the habit of eating fast food, however, we got to our hotel room late and this was the only place open. When we got back to our hotel room there was no Ketchup, salt, mustard or mayonnaise on the burgers or in the bag. Also, I didn't order a cheeseburger, but they put cheese on both of the burgers w/o us requesting it. Basically we got 2 cold meat patties stuck together with cheese. read more

We have always had reasonable burgers at Wendy's I have never experienced such poor quality and service at a Wendy's, we Ordered three burgers that looked like they had been under a Warner for hours so dry they were hardly eatable and had absolutely no condiments on them lettuce tomatoes pickles ketchup mustard. We were in there on Sunday evening for a late dinner. There was a young man working the register and really doing everything to complete every order. It was busy but he was above great and hospitable. He apologized and communicated clearly to every person saying that he was the only one and working hard. Closed 10 minutes early with two cars in the drive through. Manager stated she couldn't serve us because they had two $50 orders. I like this Wendy's. I feel like the food is always well made and have never had bad a bad experience. I live here in Cody so have been multiple times. Anyone passing through to go to the Park or even some locals looking for some quick fast food to get the job done, I would recommend this place. The new chicken tenders are pretty dang good, too! read more

Haven't been to Wendy's in about 10 years and decided to give it a try with some regulars. I'm glad we went. Great burgers, friendly staff, clean, and plenty of food. I still love Smash Burger over Wendy's. We will certainly go to another Wendy's in the near future. Ignore all the reviews prior to 2018. These people have improved their game! read more

I normally wouldn't review a Wendy's. But the service at this one was so slow, it was worth an exception. They take an order and then fill it before taking the next order. It doesn't seem like a very efficient system. I thought maybe I was expecting too much as an outsider, but even the local kids in front of me said they should have gone through the drive thru window. read more

Stopped in to grab a quick burger as we came into town. Spent 20 minutes waiting in line and 4 people got served in that time. Most of those orders were wrong so these customers kept returning to the counter to further slow process down. 1 very incapable employee manning the register. Horribly slow last time also. We went to there in July 2017 the week of independence day. It was 9pm, we were the only customer there. But once we entered the restaurant, I was shocked! The small litters are all over the floor. The tables were dirty, too. After I finished to order, I asked some wipe to clean the table. The employee was kindly told me that she will do it. She came and cleaned the table. Then she told me " I'm sorry I was so busy to catch up my work." Excuse me!?!? We were the only customer!! It was not busy at all. My kids like Wendy's and we usually go to Wendy's in Dublin, Ohio. There is much busier than Cody WY!! But I have never seen such a dirty condition in Dublin. I don't know when I am traveling again in Cody, WY. But I will not go there. read more

We were at this Wendy's on June 13, 2017. They were short staffed because someone(s) didn't show up for their shift. We had to wait a bit to order but APRIL worked her a** off, as did the other employees who DID in fact show up that day. I was really impressed with their hard work, good customer service and how they handled a bad situation! My 14yr old daughter was so impressed she is urging me to call the manager now that we are back in California and back from vacation. read more

I should have read the reviews. This place is terrible. Waited at the front of the line for 5 minutes just to order. Then watched the employee scrape the fry bin to fill our order, instead of making new fries. So, they were cold and overcooked. They also forgot part of our order. Like the other reviewers said this is FAR below the Wendy's standards. My husband noticed the drive-thru line was a little slow so we went inside. That was the worst decision we made, of our entire trip. We waited 45 minutes in line. There were only 4 people in front of us. The man who was helping us was incredibly slow and the other workers really should have opened the other line instead of spending their time watching over his shoulder. If I could give this place no stars I would. It was that disgusting. We went in at 8pm after coming from Yellowstone. The lady taking orders was slow and not the brightest. Their ice machine in front was not working so she had to scoop ice from a half melted container behind the counter. All of the tables were dirty. The bathrooms smelled like someone peed on the floor. When our food finally came out they tried to put our fries on a tray that had crumpled straw wrappers. My burger was still very pink and the bun was burnt to a crisp. I wouldn't normally write a review for a fast food chain but I thought I should perhaps write this one as a warning to those going through this area.... best advice i can give out? AVOID THIS WENDY'S. My best friend and I were road tripping across the country and hungrily found this establishment, we quickly regretted it. We should have known better as when we walked in, even though no one was there we weren't helped for about 5 minutes as the cashiers seemed to be more enthralled in their conversation then deal with customers. When I finally did order, she got my order was wrong. I had to remind the attendant several times simple instructions or things I had asked for. Ketchup, my drink making the order to go. When we got outside, we finally ate our food. But not much of it. My and my friends chicken sandwiches weren't cooked all the way and their were hairs in my fries. My friend also pointed out that two of the cooks had nail polish on, which are food safety violations. We didn't even bother showing them the food, because honestly they wouldn't have cared. Today at 2:45 pm ( 7/8/17) the Cody Wendys thought it was acceptable behavior to take money for frostys from customers when their machine was broken down , then after people paid to tell them they would have to wait until they fixed it . My friend just waited almost an hour before giving up . They did not offer a refund , nor grant one when requested . Horrible customer service , I do not recommend them at all ! read more

You know some of you people who are complaining need to keep one thing in mind. You are not at the Marriott eating rack of lamb, and spending $300 on a meal. The managers that have taken over this Wendy's have been doing this a long time, and they know what they are doing! We must be doing something right, because I went to work today at 4pm and that drive through did not stop all night long not even for 30 seconds until 10:30pm! Was there today, 8-1-17 very busy ,it has two registers but only one person taking orders? Four employees separating and bagging orders to go. Customers waiting n wondering why only one register in use to take orders. Then when it slowed down, they started taking orders from both registers? Very slow employees, not good customer service! This is the worst Wendy's I've ever been to. At the counter, flies were crawling over the cash register and on the menu board (lots of them). Their drink machine was broken, so instead of many options they only had three. We waited 10 minutes for them to take our order...and then 20 for them to make a salad. The counter woman was not sure which salad was which, and gave me the wrong one. The trash was overflowing, seats were sticky, etc. AVOID THIS WENDY'S! read more
