It's okay. When shopping at Fair Lakes, sometimes I get the munchies. Then again am not the only one. Wendy's burgers are pretty good. Their price increases though are rather shocking, even with inflation in effect. I will give them credit, as not many fast food restaurants have pretzel rolls. Their chicken nuggets are decent. Service is fine here. It can get busy due to the many people in the area. I can't really relax/unwind here. Most orders are drive thru, so you can be in line for considerable time. Wow. This Wendy's treated me to one of the most astonishingly bad or weird experiences in a fast food restaurant I've had in a long time. Popped in to get a snack and use the bathroom and the ordering process was slow and a little awkward (one of the dudes on the fryer stepped aaaaaaalmost to the front and then stared at me, unblinking, with a mask on but under his nose). I then popped to the bathroom while my partner waited for the food. I entered the bathroom to see someone standing pantsless with a Wendy's cup in hand. I hurried into a stall, she re-entered her stall, and there was the sound of water just pouring all over the place. There was water on the floor seeping toward my stall. They ruined the drive through. I ordered through the drive through and when i got to the window they asked me to move to the door and shut the window and walked away before i could say anything. When they eventually gave me my meal i asked for extra ketchup and extra napkins and they told me to go inside to grab it. I specifically went through the drive through so i wouldn't have to go inside, if they just gave the food at the window like any normal place this wouldn't be an issue but because it is they need to at least go back in and get the extra sauces napkins or utensils needed or have them prepared coming out. Decided to try the latest ad campaign the four dollar meal which is not my modus operandi normally . The store was clean , not very occupied for a Sunday so parking was a plenty. For four dollars I got a drink , an order of fries , a Junior bacon cheeseburger and a side of four chicken nuggets. I was thinking that for a mom and small child that could be their whole lunch for four dollars. I am not a fan of fast food at all but this latest campaign seems to be a good idea to drive more business into Wendy's restaurant. To be honest with you the junior burger was more than adequate for me though I found the fries to be dry and tasteless. I realize this was only one store and may not be indicative of all Wendy's. I have actually always enjoyed their chili and found it to be a great value and a quick lunch. The atmosphere did appear dated but to be honest with you for four dollars I wasn't expecting much. The same thing happened to me twice at the same location. I'm using the drive through, placing my order, when at some point the employee decides I'm done. I have more that I wanted to order, but apparently they didn't want to take my money. Fortunately there's a Burger King right next door so no one in my family goes hungry. This is my first time writing about this place although I have been coming to this Wendy's for years because it is close to home. As some else said in the reviews, as far as Wendy's fast food chain goes you know what to expect and you will not rate a Wendy's at 5 stars. The food is usually warm and there's barely any wait time. HOWEVER, the manager is gross and the past two times he served our food without wearing gloves. The first time he put his thumb inside the fries and nuggets box while serving them on the tray, instead of holding them in a way where he does not touch the food. Of course, we asked them to re serve the fries and the nuggets with gloves on, which they did. Today he did the same thing, as I grabbed my tray and sat, we see him come out of the bathroom shaking his hands as if he washed his hands. No problem there UNTIL he zipped up his pants and went back to the kitchen. With all that's going on with the coronavirus scare, it would be appreciated if this Wendy's takes better precautions. I went inside with my family and ordered food for four. The cashier told me that she had accidentally hit "cash" as a payment method... I had my credit card out the entire time that I was ordering. She asked me if I would pay with cash. I said "I don't have cash on me". She struggled for a while and then asked me again if I would pay with cash. Finally, a manager came over and after the employee explained her mistake, the manager asked me if I would pay with cash. Again, I said "no". He struggled for awhile, it looked like he was re-entering my order. Then he looked up and asked if I would pay with cash. This is the worst Wendys I have ever been to.
