First off, the food was AWESOME!!! I came here late at night with my family to get some dinner on a long car trip. I got a chocolate frosty and some spicy honey barbecue nuggets. They were so delicious and i dont think ive tasted better nuggets. They were crispy, spicy but not too spicy, with the right amount of sweetness too it. The service was reall great too! You could tell that the employees respected each other and their manager, and they did spark up conversation with us while we waited! They were very kind to us. The ambiance was also very nice. It was late at night and the place was empty since it was late. But it still felt nice and it was very clean. I loved it so much! I recommend it to others! Especially the saucy nuggs! read more

I'm only rating at one star because you don't offer anything lower. They screwed up my order twice, and a third time I thought they had it right, so I drove off. I had a Dave's double combo. The fries were good. Fresh and hot. I'd order a Diet Coke, I don't know what they gave me, but it was nasty. Even now four hours later, I still have a horrible aftertaste in my mouth. I had only taken that one sip of it. It definitely was not Diet Coke. I wanted no mayonnaise. They put only mustard, onions, and I think that was it along with the bun and two burgers. They even left the cheese out. I travel a lot, and unfortunately eat at a lot of fast food restaurants, and I would write this amongst the worst five in the eastern half of the United States. Very rude staffer taking orders at the drive through window on 7/10/23 early evening. When asking for a loaded baked potato the response was a rude "we don't have potatoes".When continuing to order the staffer's responses were rude and abrupt. Would leave 0 stars if I could. Worst Wendy's location ever. Placed a mobile order with a coupon and prepaid. Got to the drive-through and they could not "find" our mobile order. Told us to pull up to the window. We gave the guy our receipts to see what we ordered. He was NOT wearing a mask while handling food/bags in the drive through. Food was COLD. Nuggets were soggy. He gave us the wrong food and then took it back (unsanitary during covid) and gave those same bags to another customer! Then he took 20 minutes to bring us nuggets and two burgers. No mask. On 4/17/21 I purchased a spicy chicken sandwich combo from the drive thru and got back on the interstate. I began eating my sandwich while driving and after I had taken several bites I noticed it didn't taste right. Upon closer inspection of the sandwich I realized it was completely raw! I tried calling the store but no one would answer, so I called Wendy's corporate office. After spending nearly an hour on the waiting to speak with customer care, they didn't really do much about it, other than ask for the pictures I took. By all means necessary avoid stopping at this restaurant, I wouldn't take my dog there to eat, and as for Wendy's company, they have lost my family and I as customers in the future! read more

It''s a Wendy's. It's road food for when you're in a strange town with very few easy food options close to the hotel. No more and no less. Only other close options are a McD's which in the words of Hall & Oates "No Can Do", a gas station which supposedly makes very good Boar's Head based hoagies except of course not later at night and a Sheetz which looks new-ish and was packed with people sharking parking spaces. So by default that meant time for the Chicken sandwich, baked potato & Frosty carb bomb to end a very long day in well maybe not a food coma but more like a regular coma. Overall everything was fine with the order although the one dirty issue was that their one outside garbage can was overloaded to the point that garbage was rolling through the parking lot like tumbleweeds. read more

I stopped in on Oct 21, paid around 9.00 for a single cheeseburger, a few fries, and small drink. Once received, took a while, the bun was greasy, the so called burger had melted cheese plus a fresh piece of cheese on it, the burger was thick, looked like Salisbury steak on a bun. It was disgusting to say the least. I had to go to work so I had no time to go in and get a refund. Needless to say I wasted 9.00 on a drink. Food went in Wendy's trash on site. The only reason the Fishersville Wendy's got 1-Star in my review was because there wasn't a 0 Star option ! I don't know who to be more frustrated with ... A) Myself for going back (because the whole experience from waiting forever for COLD food to the food not being what was ordered EVERY TIME)! B) The owner of this franchise for never stepping foot in this building (because I find it hard to believe they would ever knowingly allow such poor representation of their business). C) The employees who, to say the least, are "phoning it in"! How can u in good conscience serve cold/dry "food" ? And how hard is it to make the food as ordered? Everything was cold and nasty. They forgot an entire meal in my bag and I didn't realize until I was already on the interstate. Had to turn around and put myself even more behind schedule to get it corrected. When I got the meal it was still COLD AND NASTY. My best experience at this Wendy's was a 1-star visit. This location has food preparation issues and is under-staffed. Party of 3 each ordered meals. 2 sandwiches were served far too cold - the meat was at room temperature. The other sandwich wasn't served at all. 2 of 3 fries were at just above room temp. I'm surprised the health dept hasn't made the management fix their warmers or food prep process to serve at least lukewarm food. Because our 3rd sandwich wasn't ready, we patiently waited. 2 of us ate our meals and completely finished while waiting for the 3rd sandwich. When it was apparent that we had been forgotten about and were never going to be served, I waited over 10 minutes standing at the counter to even be acknowledged. Seven other guests ordered and then were served their meals during this time. When finally I was acknowledged, we waited another 4-5 minutes to get the sandwich. The clerk quickly blamed it on someone else. "The kitchen" forgot about it, she said. This was not during a busy time. Mind you, this was the BEST experience I've had at this Wendy's. We were in and out with cold food and all of it within 40 minutes. The last time when I dined alone was worse. I personally don't care for Golden Arches or Gas Station Burgers, but save yourself the time (and food poisoning) by going to one of those close by at this intersection. read more

My burger was cooked the day before. It was cold tasted like crap. Just threw together. Fries cold tasted like they had been left out all night. Ask for tea gave me coke. The last 4 times I've been to this location, my orders were wrong! Either they charged me for another order, didn't make my food as requested, forgot to put my nuggets from a 4 for 4 in my bag, or gave me somebody else's sandwich. I would like to blame it on the fact they were busy, but the last 2 times were not. This morning I arrived just 15 minutes after they opened. I used to work at this location and it has gone so down hill since I was employed here. The employees are rude and I even saw an employee eating right inside the drive thru window like I wasn't even there. Do they even have management? This was the most horrible fast food experience ever (and that's saying a lot). Waited in line for 15 minutes and there were only 2 cars in front of us! Worker rolled her eyes at us when we pulled up and had to have manager check our 1980's 20 dollar bill which took an additional 5 minutes as they looked for the security strip that wasn't used in the 80's FINALLY got our food - made sure to check everything before leaving. read more

I can't believe this location is still in operation. I pulled up at Wendy's at 7:24PM and didn't have my food in hand until 7:57PM. I saw at least 5 cars pull off because it was taking so long. There was a handwritten note under the order screen that listed items they were out of (at least 7-10 items). The staff was flustered because the orders were disappearing from the screen, as they automatically disappear after 15 mins (overheard the staff through the window). When I arrived at the second window, the young lady asked me for my receipt because she couldn't see the order. She apologized for the wait and I was on my way. When I got home, I saw they forgot one of my small fries. I wasn't too bothered though, because the fries had SO much salt on them that I couldn't even eat them. I've given this location many chances, as the wait is always over 10 mins. This location is losing so much business and someone from corporate needs to come check this chaos out immediately. I feel very bad for the staff members because they are nice kids, but there is clearly a lack of management here. read more
