Interesting place. We were in town and came due to the positive reviews. Unfortunately, we had to walk out a were informed by the bartender that it was self serve. Not just that... we had to open a tab with him at the bar for our iced teas and then walk to another window to order food (on a separate bill) and then pick up our food at another window. I didn't ask if we were required to bus the tables ourselves when we were done. Problem is, I'm in a walking boot and that's just not possible. The bartender just shrugged so we left. I'm not sure if that's the norm here or we hit a day they were under staffed as we're out of towners. Tried this brewpub based on little info and MAN am I impressed! Did flight that included their flagship Eventide, seasonal Maelstrom Irish Red, Nebula Haze IPA, and Alternate Timeline. Each one was distinct and fantastic. Great balance, finish, and taste. Really great bartender Rachel was totally engaged while still giving bar patrons space. After flight she recommended another (Pilsner) that she gave me a taste of. She was chill, professional, yet fully attentive. Great relaxed atmosphere on a Thursday 5:30-6:30pm. I stopped here with a coworker, and was fairly disappointed. As people mention- the food is overpriced. I had a better & cheaper meal at Heritage on Main the following day. For the good- the macaroni bbq skillet was very good. If I had just left it at that, the review would be higher. I was debating between getting a drink or a slice of pie. I decided on the pie since it was cold outside. The bad- Unfortunately, I was thoroughly disappointed by it. It was $6, & I wouldn't even think this was a slice of pie if I didn't order it. It was the worst slice of "pie" I've ever had in my life. It didn't even taste like peanut butter. It had a bitter taste to it & the chocolate topping didn't mix well with it. I hate wasting food so I tried to finish it, but I couldn't because it was simply just bad. My colleague had one bite & didn't return for another one. Head to Seven Arrows in Waynesboro for a traditional brewpub experience. You won't find any sparkles here -- it's a down-home joint with obvious regulars in a lived-in environment. They offer beer flights, non-alcoholic options and kombucha, plus a food menu. I didn't try any food, but did try one of their beer flights. They're pre-selected, so there were a couple I wanted to try that I couldn't based on sobriety needs and stomach space. The ones I did try were relatively good...a couple doozies but mostly nice. I did politically feel totally out of place here. Listening to the bartender/other customers chatting about their views was an interesting experience. Have been attending Saturday morning yoga at Seven Arrows for months now. What a deal yoga and a beverage for $15. I got food on one occasion afterwards and it was delicious. I usually get a ginger kombucha as a beverage as it is a little too early for me to start drinking alcohol. The staff are always attentive and prompt. A lovely large room with lots of windows. Bravo to Seven Arrows for providing the time and space. Encouraging others to join us 10:30 Saturdays for yoga and a beverage and staying for brunch. read more

Excellent brews at Seven Arrows, really enjoyed their DIPA Nd IPA. Frozen drinks available which is refreshing for a hot summer day. Separate food vendor at the location, have to order and pay at two different counters. Arrived at 5:30 pm and it was a lot less crowed than other restaurants in the area, so we were able to get food and drinks quickly. read more

This place has potential. When I arrived the staff answered all the questions within the first few minutes, making me feel right at home. The board of fraught la was plentiful, each selection offering the ABV and cost adjacent to the name. The menu gave descriptions and cost and everything was set to make me feel comfortable. Board games on a shelf, bigger screen tvs around the room, and high tops sofas and tables spread out around the place. From the atmosphere to the tap room layout, this place is well thought out. Alas, I was not happy with the flavors of beer. I tried around 7 of them but none were anything that would bring me back. Just a note, I am into lagers, Weissebiers, winter ales, porters and stouts, so this is common. I will say their milk stout was interesting but at the point, I was driving so it made more sense to switch to the NA drinks. To this, I noticed, frozen drinks, was offered Coke products and I believe I heard a Ginger ale. Now if you have read this far, you might be thinking a 3 is a bit low, but for me, the 4 is a bit high. Write to me and tell me, politely, that I am wrong. We stopped on our way to New Gorges National Park. The four stars are mostly for the beer. The pulled pork sandwich was tasty, but the Mac and Cheese was cold and bland. The Cuban sandwich was a bit dry and tasteless. My husband liked the spicy coleslaw but I wasn't a huge fan. I really liked the sundog milk stout and my husband really liked his Vienna lager (darker and more complex than the devil's backbone version). I also tasted the witching hour black lager, but it was tasteless compared to the milk stout. Servers were really nice and helpful. They have a decent sized outdoor area with a fire pit where we could hang out with our puppy. It's not an idyllic location as it's kind of a building in the suburbs off a busy road. read more

I stopped in right before closing, had two five-ounce beers and a long chat with the bartender, and left happy. The Witching Hour black lager was super-tasty, and seemed to me to check all the boxes for that style. The Sour Grapes sour was on the tart side even for a guy who drinks an awful lot of sours, but I was happy to have tried it. The bartender was awesome, with good suggestions about what to try, and was super helpful. I wasn't quite ready to try the full 20oz or 24oz flights, but wanted to try at least a couple of brews, and the five-ounce pours were perfect. I grabbed some pierogi from the restaurant counter, which was tasty if not something your Polish or Ukrainian granny would make. We stopped in on our way back from a road trip and so glad we did. Really cool looking ski house style building with plenty of parking. Great customer service as soon as we walked in where we were offered to sit whenever we liked and given menus. The bartender explained they were like a brewery with a built in food truck in the back of the room to order from. They have plenty of their own brews and we had the doppleboch and Irish red first. Then we switched to the honey blonde ale which was so good!! They had a huge table game area, connect 4, checkers, tvs, ring toss, darts and cornhole along with a large, full of windows event room where bands play on Saturdays. The facility is cool, great decór, beautiful bar, lots of tables, a stone fireplace, cozy couches, game area, TVs, live music and even a restaurant ( NoBos) attached for some great eats! The flight we had was presented beautifully, and I likedl the less bitter beers, the Skyline Lager and the Sinistral Wheat. Hubby like the Witching Hour Black Lager, The Fire Board Blonde Ale and the Equinox DIPA. We enjoyed a chill respite here and the bar tender was super friendly, knowledge and conversational! They have gifts, jewelry, t-shirts and glassware for purchase and take out brews! They had a few outdoor tables on the lighted deck and they are pet-friendly! This spot is chill, clean and fun! A really great find! It was empty when we came in, but started to fill up during our time there. The bartender was super friendly and helpful without being overbearing. I've said this in other reviews of breweries, but as someone who is allergic to beer, but travels around with a beer-enthusiast husband, I always appreciate a place that has unique drink options available other than just beer, be it cocktails, house made sodas, or this case, kombucha, which is what I ordered. My beer snob husband enjoyed his flight and we ordered some food. To order food, you go to the window on the far side of the room from the entrance. There wasn't anyone at the window for a long time, but we knew it wasn't peak hours when we arrived. When we ordered something that it turned out they didn't have, they comped us for another snack, which was tasty and held us over until dinner. We sadly didn't notice the room in the back (past the bathrooms) until we were getting ready to leave, but they have cornhole/bags and other games in there. read more

The beer was good. The food was ok, and the food service was unfortunately, a bit weak. I enjoyed a nice pint of lager which I would recommend. The food is separate from the brewery, although they share the table space. The food service was weak. Apparently the server did not think folks used utensils as we had to ask for these, as did the others who we saw order food that day. This place was ok, not really into going to have a beer on the evening and kids taking over the place . Went with a friend and there were some creepy children running around, they were different ages (4-7) and both genders but all pale white with white hair matching outfits and would just run around or get behind chairs and stare at you very weird for long periods of time. The food we had to order separately and just wasn't anything special My sister n law and I now go other places on st patty's day since this wasn't a great experience . It's been a bit and there may be changes but this was our experience when we tried it and just doesn't get recommended much when talking about breweries in the area. read more

We stopped into Seven Arrows one weekday afternoon after spending the day driving the length of Skyline Drive through Shenandoah National Park. It was around 5:00 pm-ish when we arrived and they were just opening - so were the first customers of the day. We both ordered flights of beer - we each ordered a totally different flight - and then tasted each other's brews. Everything was really good. Normally I take detailed beer notes when visiting a craft brewery, but forgot to during this visit. My husband and I took five years after moving here to try this place. We're not big drinkers but enjoy a drink now and then. We finally made it there and I'm glad we did. We went on a rainy afternoon when it was almost empty. We sampled several beers from the knowledgeable bar tender. They have a beer for every taste as far as I could tell. I really liked the atmosphere. I'm hoping they will be able to extend their hours at some point. It would be great to hang out there after work. The food was alright. Pretty standard pub food. I wouldn't go back for the food but, would definitely go back for the beer. read more
