What can I say about this place? If you like BBQ and Fried fish this is the place for you. The food is cheap and pretty good. Not my favorite BBQ in the world and definitely not as good as the first time I went. But shockingly the fried fish was quite tasty. Oddly enough I may even have to recommend that. The ambiance of this place is like a good ole redneck sports bar. Service is above average if not excellent. Waiter was quite friendly yet unspectacular. If I were in Waynesboro I'd consider this to be a top 5 ish spot on the area. Would recommend.

Second time here and had the BBQ brisket sandwich, it was so tender and good! The bang bang shrimp was equally delicious. This place is really busy at nights and has a large outdoor area attached with plenty of seating inside and out. You can tell the locals love this place and it can get pretty loud even during lunch around the large bar area right in the middle of the main room. Always have had a good meal here, and wanted to stop by again since the server was so pleasant the last time. She made us feel at home with her personality, service is such an important asset that one will remember, it brought us back from afar. Employees are the face of the restaurant and I believe it is imperative to have the best well trained crew to represent a great experience! Overall, The Fishin Pig is definitely going to be a top choice, If I am ever in that area again.

Was disappointed in this place. My companions both got pulled pork and Mac and cheese. Both meals were over cooked and dry. I got fish tacos, Jalapeno cornbread, and coleslaw. The cornbread was great. The tacos and slaw were under seasoned. My beer was delicious-Devils Backbone knows what they are doing in their brewery. Our server was supremely awesome. He made the visit worthwhile. Was way too loud inside and you could not hear the person next to you.

I was excited to try this place for the catfish after getting a recommendation from a friend but I was a little disappointed with the catfish itself. The bang bang shrimp was absolutely delicious and the rest of the food was decent. It was extremely busy, which was a good sign but there was only one waitress there to serve everyone since apparently some folks had called out. Surprisingly, the waitress did well handling the large amount of customers as we didn't have to wait too long for our food. I'd like to go back and give the catfish another try. Next time perhaps.

This is a great place to dine in Waynesboro.. This is a cool bbq place. The interior has a great theme. The staff was super friendly - Britt is a Rockstar waitress. It was a toss-up between the catfish or brisket... I picked the brisket with beans and Mac and cheese. The brisket was good - the beans were awesome - the mac and cheese was good. The Texas and Carolina sauces were very Virginia versions - which was my only complaint. I really enjoyed this place.

I got the pork and catfish platter. It came with Cole slaw, pork, fried fish, and a side of mac n cheese. This was absolutely amazing. Some of the best Mac n cheese I have ever tasted. The fish was fried perfectly and remained flaky. The pork was also really flavorful and was great with the the Carolina vinegar bbq and sweet bbq. Cole slaw was also really good. This meal was about $17. Overall one of the best bbq places I've been to. Definitely check this place out. Food: 9.0 Staff/service: 8 Overall: 8.8/10

The pulled pork nachos are amazing. The waitress we had was very nice. The bathrooms are crazy. Them urinals look weird. Overall, the theme of the restaurant is very cool.

Great food with great services. Their jalapeño cornbread and collard greens are musts to go along with the bbq.

Is the barbecue gluten free (i.e., none in the rub, sauce, etc.)?

Our BBQ is gluten free and all of our sauces are gluten free except for the Spicy Texas.

Do they offer takeout option?

We do offer take out options. Please call 540-943-3474 to place an order.

Do they allow dogs on their patio?

I saw dogs there the last time I was there, but I would call ahead because they hadn't finished building the Patio yet.

They had a large selection of quesadilla, my wife got them with a shredded meat and loved them. I had the fajita burritos with steak, the steak was tender and delicious with the peppers and onions. Our server Selena took her time answering questions about the menu and provided great service. If I had a complaint it would be the place is very loud but that will not stop me from going back.

There were murals on the wall, and other paraphernalia as well. Our server was friendly and attentive, and she was quick to offer refills as well. The cuisine is specifically Sinaloan Mexican, so it is heavily centered around seafood. There were so many unique entrées that I know we're going to have go back and try more stuff. I ordered a shrimp dish ("Camarones al Gusto") with their Diabla sauce. The sauce was very tasty with a medium level of spiciness and a little tang. My mother ordered their Jalapeño Roll, which was a sushi-styled dish. This is the one negative about our meal: she thought the Jalapeño Roll didn't have enough jalapeños and the flavors weren't strong enough. We split fried ice cream for dessert. They have a wide selection of Mexican beers and tequilas. I ordered a Negra Modelo, followed by a Victoria. All in all, I really liked this restaurant, and I look forward to returning.

The prime rib was cooked well, the mussels were flavorful, and the barbecue platter had a good variety. The service was great--fast, courteous, and attentive without making us feel rushed. The restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere. It felt lively and energetic, but it was not too loud to have a conversation. Overall, this was a solid dinner and a place I would recommend when visiting Staunton. I would definitely eat here again.

The inside reminds me of a Chili's or Ruby Tuesday, but a bit darker. I think it's a nice atmosphere, appropriate for date night, a group, a family, etc. Our server (who has worked here for 3 years) was friendly and efficient. To start, we ordered a bowl of yesterday's soup special (She crab) and a small order of boiled shrimp. The soup was excellent, creamy, and with small pieces of crab throughout. The shrimp (six in the small order) were prepared well and came with a tangy cocktail sauce. The server brought over a loaf of their complimentary bread, which is actually three breads together in a single loaf. The bread was good (I preferred the dark loaf part) and came with a peach butter. We were told that the butters change periodically. The butter had pieces of peach in it (!) and we enjoyed the novelty. Our server mentioned that they also have a pistachio butter and maple butter. Yum. I ordered a salad with the balsamic vinaigrette dressing on the side. The salad itself was good - fresh, with crisp lettuce, tomato, cucumber, apple, almond pieces, etc. Then there was the dressing. Although I mixed the salad dressing in the cup before tasting it, when I did taste it, it was almost all oil with no discernible vinegar or other flavor. I kept stirring and tasting and nothing. So I abandoned the dressing. For entrees, my partner ordered the charbroiled salmon in herb butter with a side of broccoli. The salmon was prepared well and very tasty. I ordered the mahi-mahi, with the sun-dried tomato butter sauce on the side. The mahi-mahi was well prepared and tasty on its own. Honestly, I tasted the sun-dried tomato butter sauce and it was essentially whipped butter. I didn't think it added anything to the entree so I didn't use it. The potato came with butter and sour cream on the side. The potato was very good. Although we were full and not planning on dessert, the server came over with small cups of peppermint ice cream, calling it a "palate cleanser." It was very good and a nice touch. Other than the salad dressing and the sauce for the fish, it was an excellent meal in a nice atmosphere with good service. When we were leaving at around 7:00 pm, the line was out the door.
