Awful service especially the night shift. Every single time I don't even think of it as an option

Terrible service and rude attitude went 05/14 around 8, workers were rude and didn't get the order right. If I am paying 10$ for just a sandwhich at least get it right. Don't come here to a different fast food. read more

I went in to grab a quick lunch, the second I sat down, my butt stuck to the seat like I was sitting in contact cement. I tried moving to a different chair, but every chair I touched was covered in a gross sticky film. Plus the floor was so sticky my shoes made a peeling noise every time I took a step. EVERYTHING WAS STICKY. I hope I don't get sick, it was disgusting. +2 of 2 stars for friendly service, +1 of 1 stars for quick service, +1 of 2 stars for food quality - 5 stars for how disgusting the restaurant was. The service in the drive thru was very disappointing. The person I spoke to was rude and ignored my follow up question about a straw and ketchup. I did not get my full order on top of being treated poorly. I will not return to this location. read more

I live close to this location so I have gone a few times. I have had many mishaps with wrong food or cold fries. Staff is usually bland - not friendly for even approachable. When I used my free frosty keychain the way I am told to order something else (which I had planned to do anyway) just seemed degrading. Terrible service and no one answers the phone to even complain about the issues. Got half a box of cold fries (probably because they forgot to drop new ones) and my wife didn't even get all the stuff for her dinner. This place is always awful, especially drive thru. Update: Wow. So done with the Fox Lake location, use the drive thru and get home, missing food and incorrect items. This last time one hole order missing, you call and so sorry drive back and pick it up. This is the worst run Wendy's in Lake County. Living in Waukegan, I dealt with better service than I ever have here. I have had undercooked chicken sandwiches, forgotten items, forgotten additions, one time they gave me a chicken sandwich when I ordered a baconator! This place is an udder joke. It took forever to order through the drive through and then when we went to pay there was 4 employees standing around talking to each other we waited in the drive through for at least 10min and when we received the food, the bag was just shoved at us they were not nice or polite about it at all it seemed like the only employee actually doing there job was a girl that was running around getting the orders ready to go all the other employees were just talking and not paying attention to the other customers in the restaurant who were waiting to order they had long lines inside and outside. If I could rate this location 0 stars I would. There hasn't been one time I've gone here where they've forgotten or given me the wrong items. Even on their slowest days they screw up orders. I don't understand how they can mess up the simplest orders. I live 2 minutes from here but I'm about to start driving 10-15 to McHenry or Round Lake from now on. Food was good, order was fine. Came in the drive thru late at night but they served me expired fresh lemonade, was sour and bitter. Didn't realize since, until I got home. Check your drink if it tastes right before leaving I suppose. read more

Went to this wendys today. Got a peppercorn mushroom melt. Drove back home. Once i got home i took a bite of the burger to realize the morons forgot to take the paper off the cheese. I drove back and told them they forgot to take the wax paper off the cheese. No sorrys or anything. read more

Wow the customer service was so bad, that I should have drove past, not thru. My order was wrong, got home and the root beer tasted like fruit juice. Needless to say I will not be going back. This was not the first bad service but will definitely be the last. read more

This Wendy's has seen significant growth over the past few months. Food taste has been so much better. Customer service has been good too. I'd like to point out the drive thru attendant David for supplying great customer service every time I eat there. Incorrect order....again. The staff there just does not care. I ordered 3 spicy chicken meals to go, (went through the drive thru the 1st time)and again, it was wrong. I asked to have the mayonnaise on the side. They got that wrong. (By the way, I was missing 2 sandwiches), realized that it was wrong when I pulled into the Menards parking lot. Turned around, went into the establishment, showed the receipt, and instead of apologizing..they gave each other blank looks and there was not even a mention of the inconvenience "issue" on their part..They were looking at only one girl who was to blame, then there was silence, and the hovered around each other whispering at the 2nd p/u window) so, I made sure that I was given the food first before I asked for an apology..it was forced after I made a comment to them, asking for one- and as expected there was absolutely no sincerity to it. Didn't ask for a refund, all I needed was a kind apology and that would have sufficed..that is the reason of this negative review. Since when does the customer have to ask for an apology? They just didn't care, combined with their age and their obvious upbringing just proves my point for the most part. Words of advice: Stay away, unless you have nothing else better to do, and want your own personal time wasted. No wonder why Wendy's is soon to be going automated, (Good for Wendy's Corporate!) because none of the worthless staff even deserves $15.00 per hour.. (By the way, don't seek employment at the Jewel across the street, once you lose your job, because we all shop there! They are pretty good. They usually get our order correct. Which is a lot better than most fast food places.
