Terrible food, Terrible service. Many of the workers were standing around and flirting with each other, which it looked like a mix of adults and teenagers which raises some eyebrows, but onto the service and food. It took 17 minutes to get me two sandwiches, which were both burnt to a crisp and my girlfriends food literally didn't have bacon. Not to mention, they didn't give me a straw with my drink, and I was trying to wave the girl down the entire time and she kept making eye contact with me but ignored me. I'm not coming back to this Wendys ever again, hopefully you guys have some staff adjustments before you end up losing more customers to this BS. read more

I don't understand the low ratings! This Wendy's is on my way home and I stop often for dinner. It's one of the nicest places around. It's quiet. It has WiFi, food is always fresh and tastes great. I use their app and get $2 off usually on most menu items. My wife meets me there and we make a quick dinner date out of it. I don't know where the music is coming from but it's our kind of music. Its Al Green right now. I love this song. I don't even care to look at work emails. Like I said to begin with listening to "lets stay together " good food, not expensive, FRIENDLY staff, my wife, frosty...this little place takes us back to mid 70s and we are less than 4 miles from home. Burger was cold and wrong. I got the wrong soda. Fries were cold and waaayyy under salted. The chili is usually a hit for me but this one was as sad as can be. Super watery. Almost no meat or veggies. Maybe 3 beans in the whole cup. It straight tasted like warm tomato paste. By far one of the worst Wendy's experiences I've had. I have good experiences from this place in the past and well that has gone way downhill. Fries are soggy and yucky, orders r incorrect especially when the drive thru screen is not working so you can check the accuracy. We ordered about $30 worth of food and ended up throwing $15 worth out due to the quality and accuracy of the order. When I order a burger with no tomato and get no mayo there is a problem. I ended up throwing the burger out cause all I could taste on the burger was tomato which I really, really, really don't like hence me ordering with no tomato. I can still taste the flavor of the tomato, yuck. Chile cheese fries were awful(extra soggy fries)since the regular fries we got was already soggy. The quality just is not there. I guess I will go to the one on the other side of town as I get much fresher and better quality of food. At least I used to. We will see when I go across town. read more

I love going to Wendy's. It is one of my favorite hamburger joints. That being said, Store 781 is one of the saddest Wendy's I've ever been in. My recent experience started with the front door and went downhill from there. Upon walking up, I noticed lots of trash and leaf debris in and around the front door. Maybe a storm had come though? I was willing to say ok. Then I walked into the lobby. Oh, things didn't get better. The carpets were dirty and packed with dirt, there was table after table dirty and non cleaned. Maybe they had a rush? I had better use the restroom first. Awww, trash on the floor, no signs about washing hands before going back to work. This was beginning to look like a nightmare. So I went to the counter, kicked some trash out from under my feet and waited on help. There was a full crew, but no one to help me. I heard a person yell a name. After bit a person, outside the kitchen came running up and apologized. The person to old my order, but could not make and changes once entered. I'm sure I paid an extra $1.50, due to that issue. While I was waiting I called for the crew manager. I explained the restaurant looked a tad disheveled with trash everywhere. Where she asked? I pointed to the floor at my feet. She explained that they had a big rush and the gal had not caught up. Once, it would take hours and serious carpet cleaning crews hours. She then smiled turned, played with she hair and went back to the kitchen. O When the meal arrived, I had to go back up to get the sour cream, for my Sour Cream and chives potato. Had to wait a bit for one of the crew to notice me and decide to ask. I'm so forgotten already. I found a clean table and sat down to eat. It tasted good, I was hungry. I was half way done with dinner when I noticed my delious burger was only half cooked. That's right, pink in the middle. I hung my head in shame. I was done. I realized that no amount to pleading or conjoling was going to get me a better experience with this crew or location. Wendy's, you are better then this. You spend a lot of money to get things right so a marginal crew can pull off greatness. But this location and crew needs your help NOW. Get a team leader, get the restaurant clean, work on food safety. Or this restaurant will drag you down. Disclaimer: I do not currently work in the food industry. I just had THE WORST experience ever at this Wendy's in Howell, MI. I have gone there many times over the last 5yrs, but NOT EVER AGAIN. I tried to order a chicken club without any sauces (my fault I guess.) I simply mentioned that I had been there 2 days ago and made the same request, but got the standard sandwich WITH SAUCE. Same thing the week before. So, I reiterated Please no sauce. When I finally got to the pay window the General Manager took over and told me she had cancelled my order, and would not serve me today! - What??!! She told me that I had sworn several times at the person taking my order (not true at all) and that person was in tears for the way I had spoken to her (also not true I heard her take the very next order just fine.) I'm a professional and simply do not EVER behave this way so this was a very shocking accusation to me. The GM went on further to say how she was "not sad at all if I would not ever come back." I really hope the franchise owner will take a look at how these folks are running the business. I also hope the drive-thru orders are recorded so ownership may hear for themselves what I DID say and how I was subsequently discriminated (the only reasonable explanation) against and mistreated. Again, I do not get shouting, swearing angry mad. I and my family simply stop supporting such businesses where the service is so very poor (or were I'm discriminated against), and I encourage my friends, acquaintances, or strangers that I meet to do the same. read more

Really weird, managment needs to really figure out what theyre having their people do. 3 people on drive thru, only 1 person packing the orders up and 1 on register. I work in fast food and am really confused why there would be anymore than 1 taking orders on drive thru let alone 3 and even more confused why there wasnt a second person packing up orders. Cashier was lovely but none of the drive thru people where doing anything while she was rushing to get orders, drive thru was completely empty and the least thencould have done was help her fill drinks so she could get those orders in. I go to this Wendy's almost everyday to get my diet coke!! Its my treat to myself. I am a successful woman who works from home trading stocks, I hate to have to write such a nasty review but it is beyond nessessary. I was just at the wendys at 3pm they were not busy at all. I was the only car through the drive thru. I got to the window to pay and the older lady who took my money yelled at me that I should have paid at the first window. No one was at the first window, next the pierced purple haired girl, who I think harldy ever showers, started using slang gang type talk and telling me off. I have been to this Wendy's many times throughout that past 10 years. Recently, I went through the drive thru window. I saw unkempt beds of plants and flowers. That should have been my clue to leave. But, I didn't. The woman who took my order mixed it up completely. When I picked up my order, I received a large drink instead of a medium, no French fries when I ordered the complete #1 meal, and a free mini frosty. I ordered a medium Frosty. She said I received the free mini Frosty because I had the "yearly" key tag which I did not have. Mind you, Wendy's has single line ordering unlike McDonalds' which legitimately can have a greater chance for order confusion with their double drive thru lines. The food was so-so, not like the Wendy's I used to know. For a moment I almost had the feeling that I shouldn't eat it after what I saw and had transpired in the drive thru line, The soggy French fries (which I had to request because they were not included with my combo meal in the bag) and melted mini Frosty (which I ate/drank) in the parking lot immediately after I received my food were less than Wendy's standard. A medium French Fry container should have been included with my meal. When I complained, the woman who gave me the food said to a worker in the room, give her a small French Fry. I have no idea what I paid for. What I received was not what I ordered. Oh dear, what has happened to you Wendy's at this location? Methinks I'll starve before I eat there again. read more

This place is great if you want to quickly grab something, but I think that it lacks the basic cleanliness elements. Also, when I bought the 4 for $4 meal, a few of the chicken items were soggy. This was very gross for me to wonder why it was. The tables and chairs are always in poor condition, or have crumbs, and other things on it which is also, unpleasant. The floors were covered in crumbs and it was just gross all over. Like what I said, it's great if you get something from the drive-through, but if you planning on sitting down, I would just keep driving. read more
