We walked into the Fenton Jersey Mike's with heavy hearts as we were driving home from the University of Michigan hospital. My ailing Mother-in-law had been rushed there after an extremely bad fall. The manager, Eric asked how our day was going and we told him a little bit of our difficult! experience. He listened and then he gave us our meals for free. We were stunned and his kindness shone through. Did not expect that at all. Also asked for her first name so he could pray for her. This is my favorite sub place around! I come from Goodrich just for these juicy subs with what feels like endless toppings. One of my favorite toppings would have to be the bacon. It is jaw dropping (literally), it's semi-crunchy and flattering in a sub! I am personally someone with a gluten allergy but it sure doesn't feel like that at all when I'm eating at Jersey Mike's. It's Always super efficient and friendly here. Glad we have at least one place in Fenton that hasn't been taken over by lazy workers.

We've ordered carry out at least a half a dozen times. Every sandwich we've tried has been prepared to order and delicious. Employees are attentive and pleasant. Store is clean. All in all, our favorite sub shop in town. Our one gripe is that we pre-order and still end up having to wait a good 10 minutes after the scheduled pickup time. This is typically due to limited grill space. I'd love to see this timing issue worked out. But the sandwiches are good enough to make up for it, so we'll keep coming back. read more

Just know that if THEY mess up and give you the WRONG ORDER and you have to take the time to drive back to the store and have them remake your order, they will offer you a "Sorry about that" and that's about it! I asked if they would give me a gift card for the mistake and was told I got a "free sandwich"??????? Um. no I got the sandwich that I paid for. There was no refund given and I brought back the wrong sandwich that I did not want. When I asked for the Manager, I was shocked to find out that the guy that was helping me WAS the Manager! WOW! Horrible Custimer Service. Apparently 2 orders for people with SIMILAR names were place around the same time and they couldn't make sure the correct orders went to the correct people. I have gave this locations three try's. All three times ordered with app, twice arrived 5 minutes after it told me to be there once 10 minutes after. All three times they had not started making my order until I showed up. So twice they had 20 minutes before I got there and once 25 minutes and every time It was just like if I had just walked in and ordered it then. App is a waste of time since this location doesn't seem to care or understand. Management will not do anything, Jersey Mikes will not do anything. So they say word of mouth is best advertising, guess what, everyone I talk to will know how bad this location and Jersey Mike's in general is. Left them tips every time also, because you can not remove tip after you already paid expecting good service. Basically they say Screw you customer we do not care about you or your time! By the way the last time they had at least six people behind counter and only two cooking and one on register the other three were doing nothing. There were at leas five people waiting for their orders also. Done, because like most company's Jersey Mike's is not going to do anything. Poor service. The servers put lettuce and tomatoes on the sub without asking and would not correct the mistake. The subs to tasted well, but we're pricier than one would expect for the quality and quantity compared to the local shop just down the road with top notch service. read more

I was excited that we got a new sub shop that cut fresh meat for the subs. I went when they opened for business and it looked nice and clean and the sub was pretty good. Went again the other day and the place is a mess...kind of gross. The work area was all messy and the guy chopping/shredding the lettuce had it everywhere. We tried the buffalo chicken sub and luckily had a coupon since it tasted terrible. The chicken tasted more like a pork or mystery meat...it was shredded and just didn't taste right at all. At $15 a pop for a foot long it should at least taste good. Probably won't be back...kind of grossed out. read more

I've been in twice (yep, I returned). Although they were busy, every server made eye contact and filled my order as requested (even sauce on the side and a cheese swap). Excellent subs! That bacon!!! I've had the sub tub and the gluten free sub so far. I'm very happy and impressed with the gluten free bread. Their gluten free bread doesn't fall apart like most do when you have sauce. They also accommodate for the giant size in gluten free. Jersey Mike's also has gluten free Udi's snickerdoodle cookie. Yum!! We left the house and ordered all of our food through the app. It was so easy putting in the name of each custom sub order so you don't have to unwrap them guessing through our 5 subs figuring who gets what (they write the names on each sub for you). Way to be amazing Jersey Mike's! You have great service and thoughtful details that make eating great food easy. Our family who isn't gluten free raved about how good their subs were as well. Great drink selection (Bubly & Pure Leaf are our favorite). We'll be back. We're looking forward to the Grand Blanc location opening in the future. read more

I ordered a kids meal (which comes with cookie that I did not get) a chipotle philly cheese steak (which didn't have the chipotle sauce) and an Italian that had no flavor. I ordered ONE sub via the app and was supposed to pick it up at 11:23am. I ended up waiting 30 MINUTES for my sub to be done and left with my sub around noon. People were coming into the store and ordering multiple subs before I got mine. The worst part is that my sub was done the ENTIRE time, and the staff was so unorganized they didn't even realize it. Good, not great. I'm not even going to talk about service this early in the game, it's a learning curve, I get it. To their credit they were packed but still friendly. Do double check your order right now though. We used the online ordering, really easy navigation fast and bonus you just walk in for pickup NO wait time, huge plus. I'd use that every time. 3 subs- 1 blt, 1 jersey shore, 1 philly steak, The philly steak was the one that we liked, I have to say a better sub very cheesy and flavorful. The BLT was ok I thought the bacon was a bit underdone, chewier than is good on a BLT. The Jersey was just tasteless I couldn't really distinguish meat flavors, it was pretty much bite after bite of texture with a hint of oregano. A little on the pricey side which I would pay for the philly but nothing else. I'll give them another shot when they get their groove, I always want local businesses to succeed, but right now I think we're a little over saturated in the sandwich market. read more

Idiots work here. Placed order online, got there at proper time. Walk in and stand over 10 minutes before even being acknowledged by workers. When they finally acknowledge that I am even standing there, guess what. Order not ready. I had to stand another 10 minutes waiting around for them to even start it and finish it. Manger did not even look at me till I asked who is the manger. Asked him why I had to stand there waiting ten minute's before someone even said something to me. His excuse, we are trying our best. Had my boyfriend run inside to get me a sub and I was SO EXCITED because they are new and I've had Jersey mike Abe gore and loved it. I texted him exactly what I wanted and he even showed them and they didn't say anything hurry up and threw a sandwich together and it was NOTHING I wanted. He said he was so rushed he didn't even have time to say anything and they were no help at all. Nothing worse than being so excited for something and not getting what you wanted :((( read more
