We are so grateful to the teachers and staff, who are genuinely dedicated and truly care about the children. From the very beginning, we felt that our son was in a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment. Some of the things we especially appreciated were the convenient hours (7:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.), three meals provided each day, washing of sleeping bags and water bottles, and the wonderful variety of daily activities, including sports and music. We were especially fortunate to have Ms. Celi as our son's teacher. She updated the parent app every day with incredible detail about the children's activities, curriculum, and plenty of photos. It gave us so much peace of mind to know what he was learning and experiencing each day. Communication with both the teachers and staff was always easy, and responses were consistently prompt and helpful. We'd also like to recognize Ms. Delen, our son's fellow dinosaur-loving teacher, who made learning so much fun, and Ms. Tina, who greeted us every morning with a warm smile that always brightened our day. Finally, we want to give a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff who showed our family so much understanding, compassion, and grace during a very difficult season in our lives. To our surprise, many schools do not use an app. The extracurricular activities are so engaging - I like that they bring an outside coach to engage the kids in sports, Mr. George for music, and Ms Brittany for reading. The meals are also great. My son is open to eating a variety of food as a result of the meals serve at the school. In terms of academics, my almost 4 year old can count to 40, knows the ABCs and write his name. All in all, LGA makes life easy for parents, especially working parents. Even the morning drop off procedures are so quick and seamless. Between my older daughter and son, we've been at multiple schools in the area and I can say that LGA is our favorite.

KLA was part of our family for over a decade. KLA was the place where all my kids learned to crawl, then walk and run. Its walls were privy to the earliest conversations and first friendships. Its yards were the source of a few scrapes, endless make-believe games, and new discoveries. The staff truly loved my children for so many hours they were away from home. Every year there were new rituals of playing in the hallway before heading to class and waving goodbye through the big glass windows. It was such a joy to watch all three of my kids thrive and learn new things daily. When I think of KLA, I think of finger painting and puddle splashing, cultural activities and the annual Halloween parade, Friendsgiving and field trips to the blue park. I think of Spanish classes, theater performances, and ASL. I treasure the amazing portfolios that our teachers put together for every child, every year. Sky was borna week after we moved into a new place in WC. having experienced the difficulties finding the right daycare/preschool the first time around with our oldest, i hopped immediately into finding the right place for Sky. C2S was on top of a short list of centers in the area i picked out. after visiting, the list got shorter and after speaking with staff, the list only had C2S on it. C2S has an amazing lifer heading the program/center. Katy has literally spent her adult life at this center. Its her passion and it shows. Each and every staff member i have encountered has been amazing. our 3 year old loves his time at C2S. This center is modern, accepting and celebrates each and every child without making it a huge deal (like most of us). I've been to a few of the celebrations and you can not help but smile ear to ear. The center is clean, roomy, secured, and they have a great playground (super important). The team regularly sends photos and you can see how engaged the staff is with the kids and vice versa. Katy and the admin team are SUPER on point and timely with the back office side of things. I have more difficulties getting responses from my own team and employees than resolving items and gettings responses from the C2S team, something you do not see too often from daycare/preschools. i can not say enough good things! happy to share with the yelp community this amazing hidden gem. i did the footwork, found the best day care in the area.
