Patty and her team came out a week ago for our first house cleaning. Patty made sure her team of two women knew what was important to us and where to concentrate their time. They arrived on time, were dressed appropriately and they brought all their own environmentally friendly products as well as their own vacuum and dusting devices. My Brother has been using Patty's service for 13 years. This situation is relevant to show the character of the business management. I had never thought the work was thorough or that they spent the amount of time for the price, which is more expensive than what I pay in the City, but it was my Brother's choice. While I was out of the country, my brother had a health crisis and was taken by ambulance to the hospital, he is still there. My first day arriving at his house to manage the situation, I call Patty and find out the cleaners are coming that day. I tell her the situation and she says in an irritated voice it's too late to cancel, there's a 48 hour cancel policy! I was incredulous, I emphasized, he's in the hospital! If he had passed away, would they be over cleaning while we are all in mourning. She insisted, so they came. I had asked them to clean out the refrigerator, and they did, but they threw almost everything out including our breakfast for today and my lunch. I have used Patty's Cleaning Service after using a couple independent cleaners over the years. I wanted to go with a larger company for several reasons. I have found that Independent cleaners seem to have zero flexibility because they often take on too many homes. During the holidays my home was always the house that they had to skip cleaning for the week because the holiday fell on my cleaning day. It could not be made up on another day either because the other days of the week were too busy cleaning other homes. If the cleaners fell sick, there was never an opportunity to make up the cleaning as well. I believe that they too should have time off during the holidays and spend time with their families. Patty's service allows for that along with the dependability that your house will always be cleaned. I was very sick recently and unfortunately had to cancel. Without me asking Patty offered to come a few days later and clean my home with out an issue. I have never had a problem with items being broken. They are always respectable and friendly and I rarely have had to ask for things to be redone. In the rare time that I have, I just contact Patty and she talks to her girls and it is taken care of. I have always found that after you employ someone to clean your house for a while they often seem to start paying less attention to detail. That is not he case with Patty and her employees. If we could give this "business" a ZERO, we would. The owner talks a good game as she drives up to your home in a Mercedes SUV but the people she employes engage in criminal behavior in your home! They rummaged through our dresser and stole 2 prescription pills. Her employees then put 2 other pill bottles in their place to hide stealing them. We contacted the Sheriff. They destroyed a very valuable crystal and tried to put it back together without allegedly telling her. Don't believe a word she says. Patty said she would be happy to reimburse me but when she found out it was valued at 2,000, all of a sudden she would not file an insurance claim! Patty says she is "insured" but in fact only gives you 150.00 as she throws back the problem to the home owner blaming YOU stating we didn't notify her we had valuable items. Heck, everything in our home is valuable, especially to us! They also destroyed an alarm clock and allegedly did not tell the owner. I would NOT TRUST the people she employs in my home EVER. Read my review and save your precious belongings! Preserve your sacred spaces that you do not want someone to go through. Patty protects her employees and will NOT follow through on what she promised to rectify the situation and make RIGHT. Thieves and liars! Protect YOURSELF! read more
