the one in Oakleaf I don't know you guys managers name, they both were extremely rude . The first manager told a teen age girl, after waiting 15 mins for food, asking was she that hungry that she was being nit pickie about her food after checking her bag. Went through the drive through around 9 pm. Could not tell if it was open, very dark. Ordered a Dave's burger, large fry, large coke and loaded fries. When I come to the window the girl was playing on her phone. I give her my card and pay.she hands me my bag, I ask her is this everything. She didn't even say yes, just have a good evening and walks away. I leave and I realize they did not give me my loaded potato's. Come back and they tell me to pull to the first window. Get to the first window but they have it completely covered and darkened so I drive to the next window. Another girl nicely asks me to drive back to the first window as they prepare my loaded potato's and they will call me when it's ready. Suspect as all get out!!! I was truly scared to eat my meal cause something did not sit right with me but the warrior in me was well if I die, I know why. Food was cold and disgusting when and the fries had been refried. Just nasty. This is not the first time I've had bad experiences at this location and I have decided they are not worth giving my money. Stopped in for a late lunch with my wife. The parking lot and the building were close to empty, so we figured service would be fast. We ended up waiting several minutes at the counter to order. Once we were met by the person taking our order she was nice and pleasant but it take several minutes for her to come over and take our order. I ordered the double big bacon burger with a large fries and drink. My wife ordered a Dave's single with fries and a drink, plus a chocolate frosty. Once we placed our order, we went to the drink machines to find out that one was out of pretty much everything but that the other one had all of its options. There were no napkins at the bar area either. Our booth was clean and the dining appeared clean over all. Once we got our food, everything was prepared to order and we were able to eat after chasing down napkins. Standard fast food fare and meal but the staff were more polite and agreeable than most fast food places. read more

Believe the negative reviews. They're actually spot on. It's not even about the food! The food was actually fine. It's about the service here!! I have never experienced such strange, unprofessional and bizarre service as I did today. I don't normally frequent Wendys, but my son who's sick was wanting a frosty and fries. So, I ordered our meals through the app to make the pick up process fast. I pull up to the drive thru and there was one car ahead of me. After about 5 min, the car pulls up and parks in the parking lot. Not thinking anything of it, I pull up to the speaker and wait for someone to say something. You know like the normal greeting of, "welcome to Wendys can i take your order" or maybe "please give us a moment." Dead silence. Literally sat there for approximately 9 minutes and cars were piling up behind me. So I randomly said out loud, "is there anyone that can take my order?" Alas! Someone comes on over the speaker. Unfortunately, they tell me it's going to be awhile to take my order because they're behind, so I need to come inside. Why they wouldn't say this when I first pulled up was beyond me. I was very perplexed and thought I misheard them. So I confirmed that they couldn't take my order and they responded no, they're 5 cars behind so I'll get my food quicker if I come inside. So bizarre! But my kid wanted a frosty and he was going to get his freaking frosty. So I pull into the parking lot and went inside I saw 4 people working, which might be understaffed, I don't know. But it sure seemed like enough people to take my order at the drive thru. There was someone in front of me waiting to order and two others that were door dashers. The staff was frantically making orders, going outside, doing whatever else. After standing for a few minutes the guy in front of me said "could someone please take my order?" Again so bizarre that they weren't even acknowledging people at the register. After his order was taken, the door dashers received theres and one of them was arguing that the order was incorrect. Still standing and waiting for someone to ask me if I needed to order, 16 minutes later...I finally get asked if I had a mobile order. I said yes and gave my name. The girl literally said, "girl, you should have told me. I've had it ready. Weren't you in the drive thru?" I can't imagine the look on my face when she said that. But I held my words back and was polite, took my food, and vowed to never go back. 20 plus minutes for Wendys fast food is a hell no go for me. When people are saying the staff stop taking orders? I completely believe it. As I was walking to my car, cars were speeding off. This place is a freaking joke. Never seen anything like it. Not something I would expect in Oakleaf. read more

I sadly did not take pictures of my yummy breakfast because I ate it in the car. I had an appointment nearby and realized oh Wendy's has breakfast I want to give it a try instead of waiting 20min at McDonald's for the same old egg McMuffin. I ordered the bacon egg and cheese sandwich with potatoes and tea. The bread of the sandwich was soft and flaky like a croissant but was square my fresh egg was cooked perfectly not to hard but not runny and the bacon and cheese was good too. The potatoes were thin wedges nicely seasoned and fresh. The service was fast and friendly. I will be back and will try to take pictures next time. read more

There's always issues here. I placed an order through the app to pick up in drive thru. Get to the window and get told to pull to the side. I waited 12-13 minutes and watched another 5-6 cars go through and get their order. I went to go inside and ask where my food was and an employee brought out what he claimed was my food. I looked through the bag, it had fries thrown everywhere that weren't fresh and were burnt, my order was wrong. So I went inside to just ask for a refund and got told they couldn't do anything because I ordered through the app and didn't pay them directly. I had employees walk by without acknowledging me at all, when the girl finally did she rolled her eyes before asking me what was wrong. Then walked off after telling me they couldn't refund me. I can't get anyone on the phone to resolve this issue after waiting over 30 minutes. I've been waiting for their online chat for over an hour without response as well. Where's Dave when you need him?! This is probably one of the worst fast food experiences I've ever had in my life. I (eight months pregnant) went out in the rain to try their new Spicy Black Bean Burger. I ordered 3 Spicy Black Bean combos and 2 Spicy Chicken combos for my boys. Therefore, I had 5 drinks. Of course they were out of drink holders. I was excited to try the new burger so I didn't mind. AFTER paying $44.85...the cashier informs me that "they are out of the Spicy Bean Burgers"...and she "can't" give me a refund but I can have anything I want on the menu and come back tomorrow. HUH??? You "can't" refund me when you are unable to supply the items I PAID for? I think I was so mad I went numb. Then they forgot one of my fries and the salad I chose wasn't in a container. I'm currently watching the Wendy's staff standing halfway in the doorway smoking after passing through the drive through, where I was told they were closed. The other half of the staff were all sitting around in corners barely visible from the outside. It's around 7:30 pm on a Friday night which seems like peak business hours based off all the redirected sales going to Burger King and McDonald's. With a long wait like that you'd think the food food be nice and hot. It wasn't! We live mess than 5 minutes away and the food was not fresh. His burger was dry and the bun looked like they kicked it around a few times before putting it on the sandwich. My chicken was just as bad, maybe even worse. I threw it away. I can't even describe how awful the taste was. My suggestion to you, if you insist on having Wendys is check or order before you leave.
