The night shift was truly amazing for me. I understand that many people may not share the same sentiment, but when I visited tonight, the staff treated me with such kindness. My food arrived hot and fresh, and my only minor complaint was the fact that the cash registers at the front were not working for some odd reason. absolute worst service!!! whoever the guy is that was working the 12AM shift on March 21st should be fired. i had to go through the drive thru 3 times just for them to get my order wrong each time, i have a cheese allergy!! they kept giving me cheese!! they ended up taking the food back and giving me a refund, so i waisted 30 minutes of my time. i got home and called, they didn't pick up the first 3 times, picked up the 4th said "hello?" and then hung up before i could get a word in. the 5th time i said i was pissed and he said "if you're gonna start a conversation like that then i'm not gonna waste my time on you" i said "are you kidding me? that's extremely unprofessional!" and he said "ok bye" and hung up! i expect corporate to do some this is ridiculous! i was in tha drive thru a total of 30 min and they couldn't make two burgers right. read more

I went through this drive thru excited because there was no one in line only to find out that they were taking orders, having customers pay, then making them go curbside to wait for their food. Several cars were instructed to go curbside to wait over 15 minutes, even a customer who only ordered a large drink. After waiting almost 20 minutes to get my food, I go inside to let them know I would just like a refund. I didn't get an apology for the wait, the staff was just rude and very unprofessional! If I could give this place less than 1 I would. They do this stupid thing where they have every car pull away from the window and park to wait for thier food instead of staying in the drive thru to give the impression that their line is moving fast. But really you have to sit here for 15 min waiting for one cheeseburger. Sometimes multiple cars leave the line, myself included before they even order because they will let you sit at the order box for 10 min without saying a word. Sometimes they are on top of their stuff but most of the time you have to sit and wait because their 5 person team can't handle more than 3 orders at a time without a 15 min wait. I would recommend never coming to this location if you don't have to. The only reason I come sometimes is because the McDonald's next to it always has a 8 car line. I'd imagine it's because nobody will come to this Wendy's. I work in one of the busiest restaurants in Kansas City and our kitchen can get "real" food out to tables faster than this Wendy's can get a bag of fries to you. read more

Horrible, Horrible customer service. 4647 State Ave, Kansas City KS store, I am a door dasher and EVERY time I have been there most of the time in evenings and the doors are locked and you must use the drive thru, and it is always before 9 p.m. the doors are locked. Couple of times was there earlier and I was inside the store and had to wait over 30 minutes for my customers food, and when I ask if mine is ready, very rudely we are working on it. As for the drive thru you place your order drive around pay for the order or tell them the name on your order and they park you and you wait there for 30-40 minutes and then they finally bring food out and play guessing games of what you ordered. This last time I went thru the drive thru and was asked to pull forward I explained to the kid that I have had very bad experiences when asked to park and that i would just stay right there until I received my food. They refused to service me. Put in a call to the corporate office and awaiting a phone call back. Being a door dasher sometimes we have other food for customers in our cars and that really messes up the delivery for 2 customers at the same time. I have to select a star rating 1 is the lowest but they do not deserve a 1, if they can not get this store figured out they need to shut it down. The woman on drive-through window refused to serve me. The women working at this store are the RUDEST EVER. I went to Wendys drive-through at 36th & State Ave, Kansas City, KS yesterday on 3/9/21 at approx 1:45 pm. She asked "May I help you?" I said "I have a keytag for a free chocolate Frosty Jr and" She cut me off & said "We don't have Frosties. We're OUT." I said "Well, you advertise them, you gave me two keytags for them, but every time I come through HERE, you are always out of them." Then I started to say "I would like to get a hamburger" when she cut me off again and screamed at me "We are OUT of FROSTIES!" I said, "Well, I'd like to order a hamburger, if that's okay with you." She said "You can have a hamburger, but without the attitude. Just GET OUT of my drive-through line, and HAVE A GOOD DAY!" All of her coworkers laughed, and she hung up on me! Since there were 3 cars ahead of me, I decided not to wait to get to the drive-through window b/c I had to get back to work. With no food. At this location, they will NEVER let you speak to the manager. The last time I was there, I had asked for the manager when the lady on the counter was exceptionally rude about the frosty keytag. The lobby was full. She pointed to a man near the pop machines & said that's the manager. I went over to him, and he said he doesn't work there. They all fell out laughing, in front of the other customers. They will never get you their manager. I left a v/m for Corporate, who never even returned my call. Couldn't use my app for any coupons or deals. The burgers were old and dry with very little toppings. This was not a standard Baconator yet I had to pay $7 for just the sandwich. Dining room was filthy. Couldn't find a table that was clean and it wasn't busy. As we were eating a worker came to address the Dining room. Cokeall over the floor by the coke machine. Terrible doesn't begin to describe the food and service here. Long wait times, don't care, I've heard employees told to stop playing around, and no this isn't a one time thing. I honestly have no idea how this place is still open. I can only guess that the owner cares about as much as his employees which is not at all. This place is disgusting, unless you like ordering food from places that have trash all over the property. Something cool about this fast food restaurant is, when you pull up to the window and pay, after ordering, you get treated with terrible attitudes and entitlement. 3 of the 4 times that I've been there I got to pull over into a parking spot, as asked, next to other vehicles that were asked to do the same. After they bring everybody's food out at the same time, they like to play a game called "Did you have the...?" Last night was the absolute best and last straw. I ordered two Baconators with no bun (because carbs) and a Southwest Avocado Salad. The screen reflected that. She told me $31. FOR TWO SANDWICHES (SANS BREAD) AND A SALAD! Well, I pay for what I order, but that doesn't mean that I get what I paid for. I drove off and had to get back to work. I work in the area and that's why I've given it other chances. What I found in the bag was what appeared to be two Baconators (did not order doubles), with buns and minus the cheese. Every other Wendy's I've been to puts the bun-less concoction into little containers (to be fair, they had, in the past, too) and give you plastic ware. I didn't have time to go back to address it. I was just stuck with my $31 fast food, consisting of 4 dry ass burger patties and a few strips of bacon and a salad. My husband was at this location earlier today , he was pulling a work trailer so he couldn't make the drive thru turn so just continued so he could ask to order at the window. The woman rudely told him she was taking anyone and go to next window. The woman at 2nd window informed him he needed to go back to the speaker, with no one else in line behind him!! So he did...after taking his order also very rudely he left. When he opened his sandwich there was a hair hanging from it, he opened the sandwich and it was covered in hair. He was irritated he turned around and went inside to get his moey back and show them. The manager happened to be the awful customer service woman at the window and a gentleman came up to say "Well I don't know where that would have come from"! While proceeding to do return the manager woman was talking to workers in the back very loudly sugesting someone "Go Whoop On Him"! After taking his card for return he asked for the reciept, the gentleman said "Our system isn't working, you'll have to get with your accountant"! Luckily my husband has enough integrity to just walk out. I do not like writing bad reviews but this infuriated me enough to think maybe if enough people say something Wendy's franchise owners might consider getting some respectable employees taking care of their customers or maybe some manners classes! If I could but a negative star. I got out of work after two consecutive 12 hour shifts so I wanted to stop by Wendy's on my way home. I pull up to the drive thru and I was greeted with a "one moment" so I waited for about 10 min and ordered and again I got a response of " one moment". Waited a little more and decided to leave. As I drove away, I saw the employee on their phone smoking. Really disappoints, if they aren't going to work go home then. Getting paid to stand and be on their phone without any supervision. I went to Wendy's and ordered a chocolate frosty. The girl give it to me and it looked like someone had regurgitated in the cup. I gave it back and told her it was not right. She took it back and then told me it would be a few min. I told her to just give me a refund. She said she had to wait for her manager. I waited 15 min efore someone else came out with a large frosty. I saw what the first one was like and did not want another especially since I couldn't see what they did to it. So I told her I wanted a refund nothing else. The alleged manager came out gave me a refund wiped her nose and went on to wait on another customer. The staff is rude, unclean and unprofessional. I GOT FOOD POISONING. Are y'all serious, no gloves, and the chicken was sitting out all day. You get what you pay for I guess

My family and I went inside to place an order to go. There was a Hispanic male with a child in front of us. He seemed agitated and upset trying to communicate with the cashier. The cashier is Caucasian and was yelling at the Hispanic customer "I don't speak Spanish" and ignored him and continued to work the orders that was placed. My sister and I approached the older gentleman and offered our assistance since we speak both English and Spanish. It appears that there had been some miscommunication between the customer and the cashier. The Hispanic customer had placed 2 orders totaling $50. He showed us a receipt for the 2nd order which was for 3 number 6 combos (spicy chicken sandwiches) priced at almost $7 each. The order he had received were the Crispy Chicken Sandwiches off the dollar/value menu. Needless to say, he was upset as he wanted the premium chicken sandwiches he had ordered and paid for. Instead of the cashier attempting to rectify the situation or to involve the manager, he just yelled at the customer, turned away and ignored him. After I spoke with the cashier, we requested the manager to come to the front. To our surprise, SHE SPOKE SPANISH!!! We were floored! Why didn't the cashier just call the manager since the beginning instead of just yelling and ignoring the customer's request for an explanation as to why he was not given the proper order. Eventually, the manager apologized and rectified the problem and the customer received the proper order. Needless to say....we will not be returning! read more
