Absolutely spotless and welcomed right when we walked in! My 1st Whataburger breakfast... it was fresh and delicious. Really filling and flavorful in the bowl with biscuit base, scrambled eggs, sausage patty, gravy, cheese and potatoes. Yep all in 1 bowl-yummuy

Drinks had no syrup. Had to ask for a new different soda and it still had no syrup in it.

I'll start by saying--if you're in a hurry, go hit a fast food spot. But if you want really good…read morefood, come hungry and be ready to wait... trust me, it's worth it. I knew I hit the jackpot the moment I saw a line to the counter that just wouldn't end. That's always a good sign. Even being dairy-free, I ordered a cheeseburger (no cheese) with regular fries--and somehow it still hit the spot in ways I can't even describe. Every bite confirmed it: the flavor, the quality, and even the price made the wait completely worth it. And despite how busy it was, the service was exceptional--friendly, efficient, and well worth the crowd. I loved the variety of seating choices, especially the vintage lunch counter seating.

The double cheeseburger was also good. The fries were crispy and good, but the fried mushrooms with ranch were the best. We'd definitely get the mushrooms again. You also get a free drink with a sandwich and side purchases, that was nice. Lots of dessert choices, but we tried a cherry milkshake and it was very creamy and delicious for $5, but wish it was a little bigger for the price. Overall everything was tasty but the prices are definitely a bit high. The location is in a strip mall and feels a bit sketchy especially after dark and being connected to a liquor store.

Since it was time for lunch and I was starving, I stopped in to try them. Walking in, you will see the counter and the cooks preparing food. The dining room is decorated nicely, which reminds you of a restaurant, not a To-Go restaurant like the entrance. I couldn't decide what to order, so I decided on the Taste of Italy, which includes cheese lasagna (I added the meat sauce), chicken spending, alfredo, and a stick of garlic bread. I couldn't resist ordering the chocolate mousse cake. Delish! REVIEW The sauce on the lasagna was full of spice and flavor, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The Chicken Spedini was tender with a strong garlic flavor (loved it!). The Alfredo had a creamy white sauce that reminded me of a smooth mac and cheese sauce, and the Chocolate Mousse Cake was so delicious! You must try it. The chocolate mousse had a soft, creamy, whipped texture that melted in my mouth. It had a smooth, chocolatey whipped flavor that tasted like the best chocolate ice cream I've ever eaten! I live in Raymore, but I'll drive back to NKC just to eat at this restaurant!

Unfortunately, the meal turned into an unexpected deep dive into the olive oil industry. We stopped in for takeout which the highlight was the service did not disappoint! Our order came out within minutes (we placed when we got there) the server helped us choose some of their top rated items. The chicken lemonata arrived swimming in so much oil and lemon juice that the pasta could have qualified for a slip-and-slide competition. The garlic cheese sticks, pizza, and chicken fettuccine Alfredo were slightly more edible, but everything leaned heavily toward "greasy spoon" rather than "Italian comfort food." For nearly $70, we were left disappointed and still hungry. Honestly, Chef Boyardee might have won this round from the pantry shelf at home... and for a fraction of the price. We really wanted to love this spot because it is fast and convenient, but sadly this one was not our pasta-bility.
