This is my Wendys. I live in Olympia but ever since they closed the dining room and only serve through the drive through at the Olympia location, I stopped going because that line is ridiculous. Have they opened the dining room since the last time I went there next year? I don't know because I've never gone back. Wendys burgers have never been the reason why I go to Wendys. I used to go back in the day when they had the $1 menu. A chocolate frosty, a loaded baked potato, and a chili with all the toppings for $3? They don't cost that much anymore, but still that menue endeared Wendy's to my heart, so I have to go to Wendys somewhere and around here, Lacey is where it's at. When I last visited, the cashier was in such good spirits. I asked about buying the baby frosty tag for 2024 and we totally bonded over that, her telling me that she bought a bunch of them for her family. What a great idea! The staff was working super slow and she apologized for that, so she brought out my peppermint frosty to enjoy while I waited. I love her conscientiousness and desire to give good service even if her coworkers weren't feeling it. Because of her, I didn't mind waiting. I wish I remembered her name because she was so cool and she took a two star fast food restaurant and made it into a four star experince. read more

I guess I should have checked the reviews for this Wendy's before placing my order but I didn't. I was just at the Regal movie theater a mile away watching Toy Story 5 and I didn't get any concessions there because I figured well I can spend $15-$20 on a drink and some candy or fries there ...or I can go to Wendy's after the movie and get the whole minions meal and a little burger for just under $15 so that's what I decided on. I ordered on the app and picked the closest location. I ordered a little cheeseburger which was a free offer on the app and the minions meal they have right now with the chicken sandwich, a baked potato, the zero sugar minion pineapple soda instead of the frosty this time because I'm planning on having a shake with my mom later tonight and I was also supposed to get a minion collectible figurine included. The food was horrible today! The burger was COLD..definitely didn't taste fresh and even with it being free thanks to an offer on my app I can't help but feel they overcharged me for it, the chicken sandwich was hot but had a weird taste to it ...it was different than other times I've at it at other Wendy's locations.. it had a lot of breading and had a little bit of a fish sandwich taste- that might sound great to some people but I don't like fish! Even the baked potato which i normally enjoy tasted funky. Not even the sour cream could save it. Also, they didn't give me my damn minion collectible !! Not to sound ridiculous because I am an adult but I'm also very much a big kid at heart and I got this meal because I LOVE the minions and that was advertised as being part of this meal so I should have gotten it. The only thing I actually enjoyed throughly was the damn pineapple soda.. the only thing that would be difficult to screw up on. Now I wish I either gave the extra money to Regal or went to a different Wendy's location closer to home. I'll never come back to this Wendy's after this experience and reading others experiences with this location. It seems like disappointing customers is their norm. read more

Disappointing. Wendy's used to be the top of fast food. No more, and this one in Lacey is no worth stopping at. Two staff were working hard and the others were slow and goofing off. Our sandwiches sat on the counter for five minutes while they cooked chicken strips. Then, one staffer questioned if the chicken strips were burned. Fries were cold as was the sandwich. Wendy's fries also used to be big and the vest. Not any more. They are just like McDonalds. Ugh. Wendy's has universally gone down hill since Dave is out of the picture. This used to be my go-to Wendy's when I first moved here but over the last ten years, it's really gone downhill. When you ask to take out or add extra ingredients, it's normally never correct. The fries that used to come out hot and mealy are now brown and disgusting. I don't dare sit inside. The last time I did, everyone's order was wrong and we kept having to go up to the counter. It's generally dirty because no one takes a rag with sanitizer on it to wipe down the tables and chairs, the condiment station is normally fairly bare, and the employees, if you're lucky, you get one who knows how to do everything then everyone else is all trying to do what they say but they aren't being trained properly. It's pretty sad because I have a Wendy's closer to my house and I was willing to drive across town but I can see that this one is no better then the other. I worked fast food when I was younger. We took pride in being the best location, even if it didn't get us anything in return merely because we wanted everyone to come visit us. I've been going to this location for around 7 months I am a manager at another business close by. The two individuals at the counter are great when they are allowed to be. This location puts individuals in cars over customers actually standing at the counter and it's irritating. I get it they make more profit funneling the cars through as fast as they can and ignoring the few that actually go in. I went in on Sat Feb 7th at around 3pm a lot of drive through I went in and ordered waited and waited I look over the guy in front of me has his food and is eating so I figured mine was next but nope after 5 min I'm still waiting. I finally have had enough of waiting I'm on lunch and need to go so I just want my money back but I can't even get an employees attention because they are ALL focused on the drive through. I said excuse me twice and loudly but to no avail. Finally just walked out but not before two customers from my store who were standing behind me (I told them what was happening) and they said the service here is terrible. I'm not sure about anyone else but I'm sick of these greedy companies charging ridiculous amounts for below average food and none existent or half assed service. I was going there about three times a week it will now be Arby's or McDonald's which is on either sides of Wendy's. The $7 dollars they received was worth loosing a customer over and it won't be just this location. Haven't been in ihop in a decade because of bad service and charging me $3 for two tomato slices, lol. Had breakfast for the first time here. Let me tell you wendys breakfast is slept on! I dont know if it was because I was hungry. I drove up, no line, and ordered the #1 which is the maple bacon and chicken croissant sandwich meal. It comes WITH STEAK FRIES!!! Seasoned perfectly and cooked well. I get why my husband doesn't like coming to this one. Homegirl kept looking in the bag then finally handed it to me and got stopped by someone off to the side, she asked them if the bag was for me, they said yes. It was my fault for not looking into the bag to make sure everything was correct. I got the #1 just the sammich and seasoned fries. I didn't need a drink as I already had coffee from DB. Got home and saw they're just regular fries. I had myself ready for some tater wedges. The fries were still pretty good but seriously the suckiest thing is having a craving for something, order that thing... to not get what you're craving. There was a car accident in the drive thru so I went in to order. The girl who was supposed to be taking orders was assembling other orders, mostly from food delivery services. She was literally standing there waiting for food to be cooked rather than taking orders from the huge line that was growing and getting orders together that didn't need cooking. I ordered a salad and she could have just grabbed it, but no, I had to wait for several orders to be cooked first. She was also very rude. read more

Bad day, depressed, came here not knowing why I even came here. Left with a delicious cookie frostie, double cheeseburger and a four piece nugget. All of this is so delicious. Wendy's is my top favorite place to get anything burgers within the fast food community. But the frostie could use some more cookies and the new BBQ sauce is too sweet compared to the old one. We do Wendy's drive thru often, so much that I'm sick of Wendy's. Three quarters of the time they forget an item once I get home, so I've paid for an item I didn't get. Their carelessness and the stupid stickers they put on the bags are worthless. Their food is so-so, and definitely does not look like the pictures. They will always mess up your order, they do not know the Difference between a #2 Baconnator an a #1 Dave's Double. Can you say Baconator!!? This is one of the first Wendy's in town. I remember when the built it in between the McDonalds and Arctic Circle...the memories. Anyhow swung in for lunch. Had the Baconator, fries, and a soda. The burger did have an impressive amount of bacon on it. Was a tasty burger. Fries were toasty hot, and the use Sea Salt which gives the fries a great taste. Wish this location would get the freestyle soda machine as I like the choices, but the lemonade was good. Oh yes, the customer service clears were very friendly and the food came out quickly. Love Wendy's burgers, out of all the national chains here- I would have to say the burgers here seem to be the freshest tasting burgers out of all the national chains. I also like the Chicken Nuggets here the best out of Wendys. Burger King and McDonalds. The Fries however, unless you get them hot they suck. The beverage choice's here I dont care much for since its Coke products and this location last i went didnt had the free style machine, so I will either go with Root Beer or the Strawberry Lemonade. read more

I would leave a negative review if possible. Danielle the manager hung up on me as I called to get a refund on my rotten sandwiches for my employees. All vegetables were no good. She wouldn't give me a refund nor give me corporate number or email. I spend a lot of money there for my employees for lunch. And will never return. Honestly, one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I drive for Uber and accepted an order at 9:05pm. I got to Wendy's and was in the drive through line per the corona protocol around 9:10. I sat in the line for about 25 minutes until I got to the box where normally I would say I'm here for an Uber pickup. I was told to please wait for another 10 mins while the cars in front of me were cleared up. Finally I said I'm just here for an Uber order, thinking they probably already had it ready. Only for the person to respond, they were out of almost half the items for both orders I had. I had been in line for 30 minutes and they couldn't check the order at some point before then? The order refunds were processed on his end. And finally 40 minutes later I was able to leave. With cold food for the orders 30 mins later than expected. "Manager" was obnoxious and unprofessional. He leaned out the window, in my face, and was telling me how he had been off the day before and was off yesterday and needed more time off.. I could only think uhm this is your job ? In total there was probably 15 cars in the drive through during that 40 mins I was there. They should have easily been able to handle that volume. read more

They seem to be very understaffed but you can see at least 10 people in the back just wandering around chatting while you wait 30+ minutes to get help at the counter. There's one girl there with red highlights who's really on top of it but she's stuck taking orders, putting the items in the bags, getting together delivery orders to go and then people are yelling to her from the back to get them something for their drive thru order. Idk how she can stand working there being the only competent employee and the only one dealing with the growing line in the lobby. As I wait for my DoorDash orders I watch people stand in line waiting to place an order for 15-20 minutes. And then she has to run around and put the orders together between customers. Stupid system they have here. She always gets it right but the times another person helped out I'm missing half the items and the drinks. They need two people at the counter. The people in the back are doing 1/3 as much work so I'm sure they can spare one to work the register. read more
