I stopped in after a very long day at work about 10 minutes before the kitchen closed and the bartender asked me if I wanted food I said yes please and she says well let's get your order in quickly then. So I got the signature fatso burger and fries and a nice IPA. Food was very good fries crisp flavorful the burger, juicy meaty thick with all of the Sides. I highly recommend. This place has a weird feeling to me, food was good. The fatso burger was especially juicy and the guy who was our server was on point. But the atmosphere was really bland. I think they could use some decorating and give it more of a vibe. Also parking was terrible. If I had to park around back by the homeless encampment I would have gone somewhere else but luckily there was a spot up front which was tight but for my little jeep doable. I really want to like this place. We had a delicious tasting prime rib dinner that turned into an upset stomach for both of us. Ok, must be a weird fluke, we thought. We went back for breakfast and that was even worse. The gravy has an odd taste, biscuits were so hard I couldn't cut them, eggs overdone, but the hashbrows were good and they have green Tabasco. Some friends and I came in on Monday, November 11th for a girls brunch. We chose Fatso's because we love the food/service and atmosphere almost always when we go. A couple of friends with me frequent the establishment more than I do. This was the first time our experience was not a pleasant one. They were busy, but not so busy with the staff on hand. I arrived around 11:30 AM - ordered a drink (still have receipt for times) and a water. Not everyone was ready to order so we waited a bit. I decided to order my food before the others because I was hungry-food was perfect. However, within the hour I ordered another drink, nothing unreasonable for the time in between - where at this point the others ordered their food now (again food great). Service started to slow down as it was getting busier. We were laughing and being silly and having a good time since we don't get together that often- others around us were having fun with us being goofy too. We decided to get a couple of shots, and within 30 minutes decided to do one more and get our checks - this is where the problem occurred...we were cut off and told because we were being too loud (again, this place was packed and loud itself by this point). Mind you- I had two drinks, one shot, food and a pint glass of water all within two hours being there. I have never been told when having fun and being silly - that made me drunk!!! Very disappointed and as much as I have enjoyed going here for years when I could get there, not sure we will ever go back for how rude the GM was to me at the end. read more

The place was filled with locals and reminded me of Cheers (where everyone knows your name). Because there were so many local people eating we knew it was going to be good. The place exhibited good vibes from the moment we came to when we left. We ordered a variety of different foods to include burgers, nachos, French dip sandwich, chicken fried steak, and wings to name a few. The food came out quick, and was really good. So first off, our waitress was a complete rockstar. She was on her game. I swear to you, if I had 1,000 bucks, I'd give it to her. We went during happy hour so we got an app, fried mushroom basket. It was filled. My mom ate at least 5 and it was still full. She ordered cod with a loaded baked potato and I got a western burger with fries. I couldn't finish anything. Loved my cheeseburger and beer-battered fries. The burger was juicy and cooked just right. I love any place that makes its own burger sauce and Fatso's does not disappoint. Crispy fries from the delicious batter were good. My dining partner had a chicken Caesar salad that was oddly prepared with a generous amount of sliced black olives...artistic license in the kitchen, I guess. The beer was cold, and they had a good selection. We had friendly, not overly intrusive service. The regulars at the bar seemed to be having as good a time as the family and birthday party crowd sharing the restaurant space with us. Good find! read more
