    So cute!

First time ever in a Super Chix and did not know what to expect at all. My first impressions were great menu boards, cute and geesh a bit expensive for chicken sandwiches... It was difficult to order because it all sounded great, but the staff was very sweet and patient. It took a bit longer to get than typical fast food, but we soon learned that this was no ordinary fast food at all! Wow! Huge! Fresh! Crunchy! Delicious! where has this chicken sandwich been all my life? Right here at Super Chix! If you haven't wandered in yet do so quickly, you really don't know what you're missing!

On our visit we were greeted at the door, order was taken promptly, and food came out hot. We had the Simple and fries. Sandwich was like no other chicken sandwich we have ever had and was delicious. Fries were amazing! Price is on par with other casual restaurants in the area but food was way above average.

This place has to be one of my Top 5 chicken sandwich spots! My husband and I decided to give this place a try while we were in the area and loved the options they have on the menu. We both got the Bacavo Ranch sandwiches and shared loaded fries. My husband also got some Nashville hot tenders and he always has to get a shake so he also got a Reese's cold fusion. Our food came out within 5-10 minutes. There was a little hiccup with our fries (they accidentally brought regular fries when we asked for loaded) but they were quick about fixing it and bringing us everything. The food was so good and well seasoned. The chicken was huge, juicy, and tender. Also, we loved that they have a self sauce pumping station to get different sauces of your choice. The staff were all very friendly and go around often to ask how the food is and to help clear trash from your table. Would love to come back here again to try the other options they have!

A Culinary Adventure at Super Chix: A Cautionary Tale Fresh off the slicing table from my umpteenth surgery (14, but who's counting?), I found myself in a predicament: laid up, Thursday night football, chickenless, and craving something to distract me from my ninja-style escapades around the house. With my go-to wing spot, Ikonic Wings, temporarily closed, I turned to Super Chix, hoping for a delightful diversion. I'm ALWAYS DOWN for a New Adventure on the Taste Buds! Spoiler alert: it was anything but... First, the app. Oh, the app! It was as dysfunctional as my post-surgery attempts at Ninja stealth. After signing up for a rewards account six times (cuz I knew I'd get hella rewards on the money we were gonna spend), and still being asked to create a new account on checkout, I finally managed to order as a guest. Earning ZERO REWARDS for a $70+ order later, I was left with a meal that made the whole family sick. Not exactly the reward I was hoping for. My husband, ever the trooper, returned for a second pick up, as he was picking up the order. He described his experience as a silent film--no greetings, no directions, just awkward stares as he navigated the store like a lost tourist. When he finally found the secret corner for pickups, he was met with more silence and a vague gesture towards our order. Back home, we discovered that none of the food was labeled. It was like a culinary mystery game, except the prize was mushy, oil-soaked disappointment. The chicken sandwiches and fries had to be semi revived in the air fryer, but even that couldn't save the pickles. The fried pickles were so greasy they could have doubled as a slip 'n slide. A call to the manager revealed that labeling isn't part of their process. This is concerning, especially for those with food allergies. Not knowing what's in each container is a lawsuit waiting to happen. My mother, who flew in to help post-surgery, was left unimpressed and starving with the rest of us. In the end, Super Chix offered to remake some items, a third time but the experience left a bad taste in our mouths AGAIN! Literally and figuratively. So that was a hard pass! My husband's final interaction summed it up: "I'm not sure what sandwich that is, but here are the toppings for your soggy fries." That the first time around was a mystery container passed around so everyone could try it, and guess what it was?! Oh and He almost got T-boned in the parking lot trying to return home and be done with the disgrace of this establishment. So, if you're considering a visit to Super Chix, be prepared for a journey of unsanitary, unlabeled, and uninspiring food. My advice? Save your money and your stomach. This is one establishment I cannot recommend. If you're in need of wings or, or "crispy" chicken to top an exhilarating night of smallest and full bellies off, stick with ikonic wings

Better than expected! If you live in Lacey, you know that we're short on unique dining options. Super Chix doesn't try to be everything to everyone. But if you like made to order chicken sandwiches and/or salads, Super Chix is definitely one of the best spots around. I had the bacon and avocado fried chicken sandwich and loaded fries and was very satisfied with the quality of the food. I like that they have a "sauce bar" so you can try the various sauces they have for their tenders. I ended up dipping my fries in the slightly spicy/sweet Korean bbq sauce and it was the perfect complement to the cheesy fries. The chicken breading was crunchy, seasoned perfectly and hot and juicy tender was a nice contrast to most other chicken sandwiches at fast casual dining spots.

It is a little hard to believe that after ordering and given a number for the table that we were forgotten about. We walked in and placed an order for two chicken sandwiches, order of fries and some fried pickles. The cashier said the order would be up shortly, they will bring it out. We took the waters and the number for the order / table , took a table by the window and waited. About 35 mins later we were still waiting. I noticed that the people that were in line with us got their food I waited for a bit and asked the employee taking food to the tables,he came back 2 mins and apologize that they misplaced our ticket and the food will be out in ten minutes. We did get our food and it was freshly made and still hot. The food was good , tho fries were a little over seasoned. I did see that the have frozen custard freshly made. That looks goo that looks good. Maybe next time. Even though we had this mishap, I most likely will be back.

Way too salty as you can see
    Betsy M.

The chicken had no flavor and the fries were super salty. I also tried using my free fry promo and it wasn't going through. The cashier could care less about anything.

    Free sauce bar!!!!!

Ok, where to start…read more.. (Slightly off topic) Years ago I worked for a company called IKON, and that name was an acronym for "I Know One Name"... after today "I Know One Name In Chicken" Wings. IKONIC WINGS!! We've lived in Grays harbor for 5 years, and all this time there are staples from Seattle that I continue to search for. A good sushi place. A good Chinese place, A good Reuben Sandwich. A good serving of wings. I came across a TikTok or Insta Reel about this place (as I've found many in Thurston that way) so I thought I'd check it out. Well I have to look for further, this place is quaint with wonderful decorations, and a small amount seating. I knew their focus ahead of time was take out, and that's what I was there for. The gal at the counter was very nice, we had a good conversation, we talked about the menu, the sides, and I asked her recommendation for sauces. She told me her couple and I went with it. I ordered a main sauce and then asked if the other sauce if they could be on the side so I could try a variety, and she said she could put them all on the side and I could try them out. (In hindsight I am glad I did because these travels 40 minutes back to grays harbor and they double dipped breading was still crunchy... YES!!! Still crunchy.side note: because we love rural I have a powered hot/cold box that keeps food warm or cold for long drives) The breading has great seasoning and flavor, the plain mean (after the first bite) is seasoned well and very tasty. The wings are very large, which is the way I like them. I tried the Buffalo and the Sweet Blaze, and they were both amazing. I dunked heavily and then topped with some bleu cheese... this is the ONLY wing joint I'll go to. (I think like the heat in the buffalo I think a little over the sweet) The honey biscuits were not too sweet, and very amazing. I couldn't try the Waddles as they were sold out but thats ok, I'll try them next time. Oh and there will be a next time, many next times :) As I started... now "I KNOW ONE NAME IN CHICKEN" Wings Thank you for an amazing experience, and amazing customer service, and a wow moment with that very first bite, and then the oh wow moments as I proceeded with my meal.

Once again... Ikonic absolutely KILLS it…read more This time we added the shoestring fries and biscuits to our order and... whew. They were every bit as amazing as the wings. Honestly, if you looked up "Ikonic" in Webster's Dictionary, it should just say: Exceptional food. Exceptional service. This is my GO-TO anytime a wing craving hits, and after trying plenty of places, I can honestly say nothing and no one compares. Their wings are always extra crispy, perfectly sauced, and packed with flavor. Whether you call, drive over, order through DoorDash, or have someone else pick it up, do yourself a favor... when that wing craving hits, head straight to Ikonic Wings & More. Trust me. Your taste buds will thank you.

Dear Popeyes Guest Care and Ambrosia QSR Leadership,…read more I am requesting that this complaint be reviewed by Paul Abeline, Director of Operations for Popeyes at Ambrosia QSR, as this issue reflects a recurring operational problem rather than a single order mistake. If Mr. Abeline is not the appropriate contact, I respectfully ask that this email be forwarded to the appropriate member of Ambrosia QSR leadership. I am writing because I have reached the point where I feel compelled to escalate my concerns regarding Popeyes Store #11363 in Lacey, Washington, which is operated by Ambrosia QSR. This is not about one missing packet of cocktail sauce. It is about a repeated pattern of inaccurate orders from this location. Time after time, items, sauces, or other parts of my order are missing. As a paying customer, I should not have to inspect every bag before leaving or repeatedly contact support over mistakes that should have been caught before my order was handed to me. After this latest experience, I reviewed public customer feedback for this location and found that I am far from the only person experiencing these issues. Numerous reviews mention missing items, incorrect orders, and incomplete meals. While every customer's experience is unique, the volume of similar complaints suggests this is not simply an occasional oversight but an ongoing operational problem that deserves attention. Tonight's order is just the latest example. My order confirmation clearly lists Cocktail Sauce with my 8-piece Lemon Pepper Butterfly Shrimp, yet it was not included in my bag. When I attempted to report the issue through the Popeyes support system, I discovered that Cocktail Sauce was not even available as a selectable missing item, despite being listed on my order confirmation. I have attached screenshots showing both my order confirmation and the support page. To make matters even more frustrating, I contacted Guest Care by email only to receive an automated response directing me back to the same support page that had already failed to address my concern. Rather than resolving my issue, I was simply sent in circles. I am not writing to complain about one missing packet of sauce. I am writing because this location has repeatedly failed to provide complete and accurate orders, and the current support process makes it unnecessarily difficult for customers to report legitimate issues. As a customer, I expect that the food I purchase will be prepared accurately and completely. I also expect that when mistakes occur, there is a functional process for reporting them and receiving assistance. Unfortunately, neither expectation has been met. I respectfully request that: This complaint be reviewed by Ambrosia QSR leadership rather than simply forwarded back to the local restaurant. The recurring order accuracy issues at Popeyes Store #11363 be investigated. The issue with the Popeyes support system preventing customers from reporting missing items listed on their receipts be corrected. Appropriate coaching, accountability, or operational improvements be implemented to improve order accuracy at this location. I receive a response outlining what actions Ambrosia QSR and Popeyes will take to address these concerns. I enjoy Popeyes and would like to continue being a customer. However, the repeated mistakes at this restaurant have reached the point where I no longer have confidence that I will receive the complete order I paid for. I sincerely hope this feedback is viewed as an opportunity to improve the customer experience rather than as a complaint about a single missing condiment. Thank you for your time and attention. I look forward to hearing from someone within Ambrosia QSR leadership or Popeyes Guest Care who has the authority to investigate these recurring issues and provide a meaningful resolution.

Delicious, healthy food and friendly service! I can't complain :)…read more I was in the area for errands and the name of the restaurant made me want to try out the food here. I went inside to place an order. Although initially vacant at first, the space was quickly occupied by following customers lining up after my arrival. One of the employees appeared to be taking out the trash while the other greeted me and helped me with my order when I arrived. There were various options for ordering, but I decided to go with the nori wrap. You can select a customized option or go with one of their premade choices, which lists all the ingredients inside. I was feeling seafood so I went with the Seahawk. The employee asked me if I wanted everything with it, and I asked to just sub one of the sauces with the Chipotle sauce. The portions are definitely huge and worth the pricing, because she had to double wrap my order just so it would all fit and wouldn't fall out. To pair with the nori wrap, I also ordered the original miso soup, which comes with the usual tofu and seaweed but is on the sweeter side compared to what I'm used to. I personally like it sweeter but if you don't, I probably wouldn't order it. I don't often crave healthy food, but it was fairly filling and I had a good experience, so I'll be back to try out MiSo again!

My husband only wanted the bulgogi steak, brown rice and cucumbers with soy sauce on the side. They don't carry cucumbers anymore. I tried ordering a bottle of Pure brand unsweetened tea, and they only carry the sweetened version. Then, I went to get chopsticks and napkins, but the napkin dispenser was bone dry. The portions were large. I enjoyed the flavor and combined textures of my meal. I could only eat about a 1/4 of the bowl, and was full. My husband said the bulgogi smelled good, but he only ate a bite and put it aside. He did not care for it, saying it tasted like "fake meat." I asked if he wanted chicken or a different protein option, and he declined. I can see myself trying Miso again. My husband no. But for the restaurant to be completely vacant when I entered, attention to food safety and detail should be a much higher priority. Edit after the owner's response. The entire serving utensil was inside the uncovered poké stainless steel container. Any raw seafood must be stored properly. It must must be at a safe temperature and covered. An entire serving utensil (handle included) should never be stored inside the serving dish of raw ahi tuna. I was so excited to have them locally, and adding them to the fresher and " cooler" selection of dining options in the Hogum Bay plaza is a natural fit. The restaurant space is clean, and simple. Not too much one way or the other, and fairly open. The staff here is obviously new, the communication between them wasn't smooth. The kid who was the server got asked a question by the cashier to ask the cook, when he went back he couldn't remember the cashiers name. I expect they'll get better at this as they go along. Food wise, I was under whelmed. Portions were so measured I'm sure the server put a little back in every helping. There wasn't one thing in my burrito that was hot, let alone warm. The burrito shell was a bit too chewy for me, but the flavor was there. I do like they it didn't have the saturated cilantro flavor that a competitor has, I just don't care for the stuff. My burrito was the beef, and my wife's bowl was the adobo chicken. Her feedback to me on the bowl, was the same as my burrito, ok flavor but not hot or warm even. We signed up for the club card, and got the promised chips with queso, the queso was very good actually, but the chips were undercooked and over salted. Honestly, I don't believe in excessive negativity, so just trust my words on their done-ness and saltiness, I opted to not provide pictures them. My wide did give in-restaurant feedback about this. I'm not a fan of high salt, so my wife said not to even waste time on trying them. If it were me, I'd opt for the food at several competitors locally, and maybe skip going here again on my own. We believe in second chances for businesses, so we will maybe go back sometime as a couple, in hopes of a better experience. Id gladly edit this if our return visit yields another result. I hope the employee connectedness is better, the food a lot warmer, the chips a bit more crispy, and the salt a little less liberal. Slightly below average for me.
