There's no ambience at a fast food restaurant where all you can hear is the workers in the kitchen whooping it up the whole time you're there and you need something and you feel like you're an inconvenience to their social life they're having at work! Having said what I already said, I don't think I need to mention the service any further. And the food.... Let's just say that I now see why they are rated under a four or a three on average. The burger looked like a wet sponge that had been burnt. The toppings were not added to the sandwich with any Care the only thing that went right was the beverage because it was done by a machine, a freestyle Coca-Cola machine to be exact. This specific Wendy's location is consistently the best Wendy's I've been to; especially their deluxe cheeseburger.

Our dine in option was disappointing. All the tables were filled with crumbs and soda .There was also food under each table area. it was obvious nothing had been sanitized nor swept. The floor had a haze on it. very disappointing. read more

This review is just compared to the other Wendy's that we have been to. This one is very clean and the guys who work the counter are always in a good and cheerful mood. They have a coke freestyle machine so the flavored lemonades are much better than the Wendys handcrafted lemonade for less than half the price. read more

Wish I could give 0 stars. I went to order a "Biggie Deal" like it shows in the menu and the cashier at the service counter looks at me and asks "Do you mean the 4 for 4?" Does it say "4 for 4" on the menu board lady? No it doesn't, so wtf was the point of asking me that. Ordered the jr cheeseburger deluxe and they gave me a hamburger with ketchup. Where's the cheese? Sometimes, this Wendy's NAILS it! And sometimes, it's just disgusting. Always a gamble. How hard is it to have quality chicken for spicy chicken sandwich? We were at the drive-through at 4 PM and waited 20 minutes to receive our food. We ordered two large Chili's with cheese and a chicken/apple/pecan salad. When we got home the chili did not have the cheese and the salad was missing the chicken. NO chicken! This is unusual so not sure what the problem was but hopefully this won't be the norm. read more

Once again, we've gone to the ONLY Wendy's in our area and walked out, without eating, because the first part of our order (sour cream & chive, baked potatoes) would not be available for at least "25 minutes"! I mean, how hard is it to plan ahead and start cooking food, so it will be available when customers order it...?! C'mon! And these people expect to be paid $15 and hour for such crappy service! Came in as a whole soccer team of high schoolers (like 21 people) and they took all of our orders in a timely manner and nicely. Very good!

They were out of everything today, was horrible! Soda station didn't work. Ketchup dispenser didn't work. No toilet paper nor paper towels in the bathroom. Had a screen touch to order your food right in front of the cashier, so confusing that everyone made their order with the cashier. So a long line with 1 register. Then another line to get soda since the machine wasn't working or out of so much. Very disappointing. read more

I went to Wendy's in McHenry at about 10:45pm, which I checked and they do not close dining until 11pm. I was very disappointed with my service and the attitudes of the workers and one of the worker's friends. One of the workers said to me, after I respectfully said "I am waiting for my food, then I will leave," he said "Once you get your food you need to get out" and then got a dirty look from the worker's friend. Overall, they need to respect their customers better and I will not come back. read more

I'm rating this as five as compared to other Wendy's I've visited. The food is the same as every place else, but this Wendy's, in the dozens of times I visited them, never once screwed up my order. Also, whenever I would go through the drive through with my dogs, the ladies behind the window would always give me a chicken nugget for each dog. Silly as it is, I probably went here twice as often as I would otherwise simply because of the chicken nuggets for the dos. read more
