LEAN ON MEE WHEN YOURE NOT STROOOONG

Wow, just wow. Never have I been to a restaurant where I can kill an hour of my time without receiving a single calorie of food. The DoorDash drivers were really making themselves at home during these extended wait times. They were even allowed to take off their shoes in order to feel more comfortable! Talk about hospitality! I found the blood on the floor to be a nice touch as well. The ice machine was also so advanced that the average costumer could not get it to operate without a terrible noise echoing through the empty dining room.

I waited in line for 37 mins. There was about 7 cars in front of me. When I pulled up to the window there was kid sitting down watching this woman do literally everything. The food wasn't hot either so it's not like they were waiting on food to cook. Rated 5 stars so you guys would see the rating

I've been waiting for 55min to get my food! Really bad service!! I'll NEVER COME BACK!

This tiny place known for their namesake mini patty melts on homemade brioche has gotten bigger and…read moreexpanded the menu. But the beef is still the reason I come. Butter is collateral (and arterial) damage. -- Snappy Pattys: Thin patties of beef get griddled and placed between slices of bread no thicker than your finger and no wider than a KFC biscuit. You'll taste the condiment configuration of choice (I like the Texan for its zippy bacon-laced melted cheese), but you'll taste butter first and foremost, which can be daunting. The surfaces of the bread don't get much browning and the beef was less beefy and less seasoned than I remember from a few years back. Although these never blow me away, they're a nice little novelty that's always worth a taste. -- Patty Melt: The full size format offers a third of a pound of beef (looked thicker) between larger slices of the same type of bread. Not much outer texture or browning, but the interior was moist. Minimal beef flavor, with butter again on overdrive-- much too much of it-- but this time mitigated by the complementary flavors (according to the menu, roasted chili & bacon sauce, tomato, iceberg, blue cheese & avocado aioli). Still enjoyable, though the lack of browning (on bread and beef) and the veering of the ingredients from traditional (no caramelized onion, no rye) kept it from scratching that patty melt itch. Nice place, and I've enjoyed previous visits. And the fried chicken as well as the namesake mini melts. But the quest for the elusive killer patty melt continues.

The chicken was very moist and tasty. The waffles are a little sweet for me, and a little clumpy consistency, but the chicken made up for it.

Great spot for the neighborhood, super cozy vibe with genuinely friendly service. We tried the…read moretequila wings, personal pizza, and chicken sandwich, and loved all three. The wings were huge, juicy, and perfectly crunchy with tons of flavor. The pizza had a crisp crust and really flavorful sauce, and the chicken sandwich was hand-breaded with high-quality ingredients. It's only open for brunch on Sundays, which combined with always being seated immediately makes it feel like a hidden gem. The back patio is quiet, shaded, and sheltered from wind. The food shines. Of course the egg scramble and the Benedict's were fantastic, but every piece of every plate feels deliberate and done with intention--nothing is an afterthought. - Their home fries are my all-time favorite--thick, well-seasoned, soft on the inside with some crisp on the outside. - - The English muffin toast has a crunchy golden surface and soft inside. - The whipped cream on the French toast feels luxurious. - Oyster shooters are a fun treat, as a lover of both fried clams and bloody Mary's. - They were kind enough to accommodate us with a half order of their (outstanding) French toast for dessert I'd note there's no espresso drinks on the menu, although I did enjoy the black coffee. I like trying new spots, but if the question is Sunday brunch then Avenue is always my answer.

We had an unexpected trip to the area that morning to visit a local store…read more When we were done, we noticed it was just about lunch time and decided to find a place to eat. There were many options to choose from but we do like to try places that are not always traditional. Hoping for a local favorite. Right on the corner, it is easy to find and with street parking easy to get to and enjoy a good meal and probably a late night gathering with friends. Rustic looking, it definitely put off the vibe of the local establishment for Arlington. We were the first customers that early afternoon. They were literally unlocking the doors when we arrived. The menu offered enough options to satisfy our dietary and personal preferences. Meats, chicken, fish and veggie options. You can find something. Staff was very friendly and attentive, but we were the only guest that early in the day. The crowd did pick up as we ate our meal. Large windows allowed you to sit and people watch on, what I would imagine is the Main Street for the town. It was Sunday so a little quiet so not a lot people watching today. Food was great and the presentation was a lot more than expected for a tavern. Full bar options and a good list of local craft beers. I love trying local beers when possible. A lot of space for seating during the day and I can only imagine the evening bar scene. Based on the number of people who did walk in while we were there to recover their credit card from the night before. Sounds weird but it totally gave off the local vibe. Love it. Very clean and tidy for a Tavern. Respectful place. Plenty of TVs to watch your favorite game so I enjoyed a chance to see one of the Sweet 16 games that day. So, if you are in town, give Town Tavern a visit.

I just wish the flavors were bold like the looks and descriptions. The summer shanty was a good beverage on a hot evening. The turkey tips were beautiful although with very little flavor. The salad was similar. If you're looking for a fun bar with friends, enjoy. Just know the meal is not likely to be memorable itself.
