They offered a nice new healthy choice on the menu - a Mediterranean Power Salad. Ingredients listed on the menu board: grilled chicken, quinoa, hummus, feta cheese, roasted vegetables, red onion, balsamic vinaigrette (Lettuce and tomato are to be assumed, I suppose.) What arrived (sorry, no camera with me today): A big bowl of lettuce mix with a few grape tomatoes and shards of red onion, topped with a generous amount of chicken and splashed with a very loose "hummus." A few curds of feta were spotted, a couple of flecks of red pepper, too, and a few loose chick peas and navy beans. Unfortunately, no quinoa - the SECOND item on the ingredient list. Actually, one errant grain was stuck to the side of the bowl. That's it. Two sachets of dressing appeared with the menu item, as well as a packet of croutons (another unlisted item). Expectation: a chicken and quinoa salad. Reality: a lettuce salad with chicken on top. Bland overall. Service was brusque. I paid in cash and needed to ASK for the change from my bill. Wendy's Morrisville, you are way off your game. Is staff morale poor? Is training inadequate? Is quinoa a mystery to the food preparers? I hope these issues are solved. I have been here in line for 10 minutes with one car in front of me. I tried going inside to order, and was told the inside was closed. EVEN tho the doors are unlocked. They don't have stock of sauces and drinks. The employees in the front have horrible customer service giving attitude on multiple occasions. If you want consistently bad service that takes forever, this is your place! If you order online, they mess up your order because nobody apparently can read. If I could give 0 stars I would. I will no longer go to this Wendy's. I don't know what their issue is. The Drive Thru is the slowest I have ever been in. When I arrived, there were 3 cars in front of me. I used the timer on my phone. I made it to the speaker 12 minutes later to tell them I was picking up my mobile order. NO ONE greeted me through the speaker. I waited 3 more minutes. I figured maybe the speaker was malfunctioning, so I pulled forward. The car behind me waited another 2-3 minutes and someone actually greeted them over the speaker. This was pretty much my experience whenever I bit the bullet to deal with the wait. At this point I'm looking at another 5 minutes at least to get to the window and another 5-10 minutes to make my food so I just left and canceled my order... I wouldn't even have tried here if the Burger King hadn't closed early. I worked a drive thru in high school. We'd have 1 person making the food, 1 person dropping fries and filling orders, 1 person at the window and 1 in the back cleaning stuff. On our worst day we'd still be twice as fast as these jokers at this Wendy's and we were only making half the hourly wage. In prior stops where I actually waited to get food. Order was wrong half the time. They never fill the fry box, if I didn't know better I would have thought someone was helping themselves to my fries on the way home. This Wendy's in the corner of Morrisville Plaza was renovated a few years ago, and has a nice look and feel. It is a smaller shop, with minimalist décor, but clean and highly functional. The hours are from 11:00 am to 2:00 am, although the hours presently on Yelp incorrectly state it closes at two in the afternoon. It has a wrap around take out lane that requires drivers and pedestrians to be careful approaching the front door. Very easy to ignore the vehicles coming from the left, or walkers in front of you while stowing a bag of nosh. Service is fine at the counter. There is no doubt that Wendy is attempting to up its game in order to compete with the fast casual burger crowd. Most ingredients are fresh, and the new basic roll is an order of magnitude better than the old one. It holds together throughout eating, and has a pleasant flavor. The only remaining issue is the quality of the beef patty. Its taste and texture appear the same as the old version, which is to say that it is somewhat mealy (frozen), and lacking any real verve in taste, and juiciness. It still seems flat and uninspired. So, the key to enjoyment is keeping the package together while consuming, with the fresh onion, lettuce and cheese can dominate the experience. As a whole, the burger is just okay, although an improvement over its predecessor, it has a long road to travel until it can stand next to its cousins at Red Robin, Cheeburger, or even your local corner tavern. read more

(Or, that you're into sharing you're own opinion (alot) and wanna tell people what you think even if all you have to say is "this place is typical" Unfortunately, my review now, is an exceptional case of "leftitude" - I was in the area, wanted a quick bite and drove here. Ordered the jalapeno chicken and a doublestack for my friend. She asked if I wanted a medium or large, I said large (we were gonna split the fries and drink); then she says they dont have any large cups so I had to get a medium (?) okay... I got my food in a reasonable amount of time and drove back. I bit into my sandwich and guess what....there was paper in it! Like how careless could you really be put the parhcment (that divides the cheese slices) on the sandwich AND THEN add the sandwich toppings on top of the paper!!! It was 11pm and there were no other cars in the drive thru - so it shouldnt have been a matter of rushing because of a long line. Absolutely disgusting and completely thoughtless. If while making a sandwich you are not paying attention to what is ON the sandwich, how am I to believe that you care at all about the other conditions of food service. Avoid this place like the plague. It is a shame because I usually like Wendy's and this is the closest fast food restaurant to my home. I have been to this location 6 times and I have never ever received a correct order. Usually they leave out an entire meal. Im sure anyone who is locals knows that you will wait 20 plus minutes in line, the employees are incredibly rude and your order will be wrong. I normally wouldn't write a review on a chain res, but I'm gonna miss this particular Wendy's, as I have moved away from it and looked forward to giving them my patronage on the reg. First off, I love Wendy's, their burgers are the best (remind me of mom's actually) and their fries are man-size and always salty. "#4 combo, medium, with a Dr. Pepper, please." This is my usual spiel as I roll up on the speaker box. Now, rolling up on a fast food joint, it's usually hard to tell the service you'll receive, especially with some teenagers running the show. However, my every visit to this Wendy's was met with cool kindness. Well, the first time there was a fat chick working the drive-thru and I thought she was gonna crawl through the window into my car - scurry - but every other time, cool teenagers just on the job, handling their burger bizness with swag and professional pride. I found myself actually impressed. I was going back day after day when I was moving (no time to cook) and always the good attitude, great food. This location used to be good until recently. Service was pretty quick, and the staff friendly. Food was correctly prepared also. There may have been a recent staff or management change, as the quality and speed of service has declined. It's become less desirable to frequent. I usually get the apple pecan chicken salad for lunch and twice this week they had to be reminded to include the pecans that it normally comes with. Today the salad was missing the bleu cheese crumbles. Service needs a kick in the ass. I'm usually there before noon, with only a few patrons in the queue, and they seem to take forever to get the order taken and the food out. Consistently the worst service ever! I only keep going back because my kids love the chicken nuggets. The staff couldn't care less about good customer service. I have even received terrible service from the managers or superviors. They have messed up 95% of the orders and even given my food to another car and them taken cback and given it to me. This is hands down the worst Wendy's I have ever been to by far. I generally like Wendy's for an occasional fast food indulgence meal, but every time I come here I regret it. It's the only Wendy's in the area and I always hope it will be better, but it never is. The drive thru wait times are atrocious - I'm talking 20 minute wait to get your food sometimes. I went here for lunch with my wife and she ordered a chicken sandwich and loaded baked potato. The lady taking order response is sorry we don't have baked potato. We say okay can we have loaded cheese fries, she gets frustrated and says ma'am we don't have BAKED POTATOES! we remain calm and say we know can we have loaded cheese fries(for the second time) the lady gets nastier and say WE DON'T HAVE BAKED POTATOES. At this point i intervene and say ma'am you have french fries, she says yes, i say okay let me get fries loaded style and she finally understood. We pull up to the window mind you no cars in front of us at this time(the reason they couldn't take the order right was because they had music blasting)They take our card and ring us up for the wrong order and hand us 1 cheese burger. And say have a nice day. Due to the fact that no one was in front of us with only 1 car behind us i find it hard to mess up but whatever. I tell her this is the wrong order. And she says ohh your the baked potato people and I respond yes. They take our card refund the order for the cheeseburger and ring us out correctly. We get our food it was wrong but at this point I don't care. I grab my sandwich that was loaded with mayo i got mayo with a side of sandwich(them being petty) i bite it and you know when saliva is thick and strandy. My mayo was like that for some reason. Don't waste your time or money! I placed a large mobile order...6 people to feed. Right now drive through is the only option for picking up an order because of covid-19. There was only 1 car in front of me in line so I figured it should be quick. Also, I had already waited about 15 min after placing and paying for my order online before leaving to pick it up so they'd have time to start preparing it. Well I waited at the window for several minutes before being told to pull up and wait some more. No problem. They must be cooking some of the food still. I waited there for at least 15 min before my order was brought to me. After looking it all over I realized they forgot one of my drinks. I got back in line only to wait at least 10 more minutes for said drink. When I got home all the food tasted like it had been sitting out for HOURS. The chicken was dry and hard. Each sandwich was so covered in mayo and ketchup that the buns were sliding right off. Fries were hard and disgusting. They didn't customize the salad or the kids meal on my order as requested (no avocado on salad and toddler toy for kids meal) AWFUL. Never again. read more
