I had to order them to fry them 20 seconds less so they would not be overcooked and inedible. Two days ago, I ordered the bruschetta and was shocked. It was a completely different product. Instead of primarily tomatoes it was a disgusting mixture of so many spices it came out as a soupy, smelly mess. I went back the next day to return it, and the manager was rude and unhappy that I have voiced displeasure in the past about foods that were not prepared properly or the recipe was radically changed. I think that was my last visit to order food to go. They do not appreciate constructive criticism!

The intimate booth seating was a nice touch. Our server was attentive but not too much. The bathrooms need a bit of work. All in all, a nice lunch and I would go back.

At one point, it even seemed like employees were calling others from the back to look at us. The atmosphere became so unwelcoming that we decided to leave before ordering anything. This happened during what was supposed to be a joyful holiday outing for our family, and it was deeply upsetting. We never expected to feel this way at a well-known establishment. Thankfully, we went to IHOP down the street afterward, where we were treated with kindness and respect. I want to be careful not to assume anyone's intentions, but as a visibly Muslim family, the experience left us feeling singled out and unwelcome. What should have been a normal dining experience instead felt hostile and hurtful. No one should be treated differently because of their religion, appearance, culture, or beliefs. In 2026, there is still so much work to do when it comes to respect, inclusion, and basic human decency. I am speaking up not just for myself, but for anyone who has ever felt targeted, uncomfortable, or silenced because of who they are. Religious discrimination and Islamophobia should never be normalized or ignored. Businesses that serve the public have a responsibility to ensure all customers are treated with dignity and respect. I have submitted a formal complaint regarding my experience and hope accountability follows. Silence protects discrimination.
