Cappuccino Pizza Restaurant is really the venerable La Villa in Morrisville, PA. The coffee reference relates to the ownership group, Cappuccino, LLC. It hasn't moved anywhere despite the misinformation elsewhere on this website. The pizza and tomato pie are still excellent, and the rest of the large but standard Italian menu is also red sauce solid. Prices are fair across the board and have not succumbed to the tariff food inflation prevalent elsewhere; all of which led me to its rediscovery. The hot Eggplant Parm Sandwich was a full load of thin sliced nightshade out of an extra virgin frypan and filling a fresh torpedo roll, topped with marinara and mozzarella. We order from La Villa all the time. This time we got such bad service. This order was through DoorDash. We received only half of our order. La Villa called and apologized and admitted they were at fault for not giving the dasher 3 items. Missing was two cheeseburgers and a chicken parm platter. We called DoorDash and they gave us credit for a future order. Tonight though we are short food for 3 people! Plus the Pasta Fagioli soup, had neither pasta or Fagioli in it. The soup was only broth and vegetables. They need to stir the pot of soup before dipping it out, to get a good mix of ingredients. I am so angry! As a rule - I'll leave a review for a restaurant to improve it's service and provide an opportunity for constructive feedback. So here it goes. On Saturday night July 28th 2024 I visited LaVilla with my wife for a sit down dinner. Our waitress was pleasant and appeared new to the restaurant. I ordered the pork chop special and my wife the salmon. My pork chop showed up extremely dry and for the most part uncuttable. Additionally, the pork chop was less than 1/2" thick. (thin for a restaurant entre' at $25) My wife's salmon was raw and undercooked. For the price we paid - unsatisfactory - both meals. ($57 before tip, no sodas or soft drinks - we had ice water) Sadly, the waitress never stopped by as she should have after a "few bites" to ask how everything was. Lost opportunity to correct number 1. We didnt see her until she scooped the dirty dishes. I would have ordered a soda then. Understandable if the place was stacked with customers and they were busy. This couldn't be further from the situation. It was dead, everyone around here is "down the shore"....... Lost opportunity to correct number 2 - checkout at the front counter. The man swiped my card and never asked about our experience. He didn't look up once and our only interaction was "do you want a copy of your receipt ?" NOT - How are you, how was your meal? Hence this review. I'm not one to leave a bad review but the restaurant never offered an opportunity to correct itself, or acknowledge the lousy meals. Like others say - past experience - they make a good (pricey) pizza. You can find far better Italian in Morrisville close to this restaurant. read more

La Villa is my favorite pizza place in the bucks county area! I grew up in Morrisville and this is the place to get pizza. Growing up we dined in and also ordered take out - all great experiences. I live in Orlando now and we just visited family and we ordered from there twice. Both times we ordered pizza, Stromboli and cheese fries. I LOVE their Stromboli and have never found another one that compares. What I love about La Villa Stromboli is they put the sauce into it. Any other place that I have ordered a Stromboli the sauce is on the side. Their pizza also slaps, great Italian pizza. Their cheese fries are also great. I've never had anything here I haven't liked. I ordered a Stromboli for dinner. I didn't mind the long wait because it was close to dinner time, however I was not prepared for the entire thing to be burnt. You knew it was burnt when you put it in the box and sent it to me. By the time I opened it for everyone I had already had it about 20 minutes so I didn't call. I am extremely disappointed in La Villa. I cut it completely up into tiny pieces hoping it would make it more edible, but we can't get past the burnt taste. Just a quick lunch 2 slices of pizza, old style pizza hut building now a popular pizza restaurant. Only a few different slice pies to choose from, so I went for the basic plan. Seems to me that they run the dough through a press because the pizza is almost the same thickness all the way through. This does give it a better feel when holding it, no sagging or floppy pizza. Good job on that. The sauce is more on the sweet side and not too sweet. The dough had a nice crunch and tastes good. I was glad to see or better NOT see grease dripping off the pie. Over all its a good pie. The takeout area is small and can get packed, plenty of tables for dinner. I might have to come back and try the dinner menu. The cost for 2 slices was $5.80 read more

After a single visit I can't wait to go back for more of their delicious thin crust pizza! I goto Snipes Farm for concerts, it's right down the street, great venue check it out, but they don't have always have concessions available. I noticed people walking around with pizza boxes and found out they got them from La Villa, which is minutes away from the venue. I called in an order and went to pick it up meaning to bring it back to Snipes. I ate almost half the pizza in the parking lot, it was so good I just kept shoveling it down. Stopped myself so I'd have some to share. Local businessmen and women, retired couples, families, all enjoying either pizza or the lunch buffet or both. While the buffet looked enticing - $7.95 for your choice of four of a variety of pasta dishes, hot and cold, as well as pizza and salad - I had to try the tomato pie. My lovely server suggested the personal size, and it was absolutely delicious. I devoured every bite. Even though La Villa appears to be a locals joint, I never felt uncomfortable dining alone. Came in for a quick lunch based on the 5 star review. Menu looked excellent, pizza looked solid, but we went with the $9.95 lunch buffet plate. You choose 4 items from about 16, good selection. The vodka rigatoni was very good, as well as the eggplant rollitini. Tilapia was Excellent! Chicken marsala was a little dry, butni find chicken marsala to be dry almost everywhere, yet I continue to order it, figure that out. I guess the mushrooms entice me. The broccoli was great had some pepper flakes and fresh garlic in it. Overall, great lunch buffet for the price especially! Definitely have to come back and try the pizza and other menu items. This is our first time here we came into town to buy a used car from the guy right now on the street and he recommended this place and we are so glad he did, because of pizza here is incredible- as is the service. The thin crust square pizza here is one of the best pizzas in the vicinity. Crispy with a light application of cheese and plenty of chunky tomatoes. Chopped antipasto salad was good (and a nice accompaniment to a simple pizza). (The pizza is 5-star material.) All of the dishes coming past us on their way out of the kitchen looked delicious. Service was pleasant and prompt. Comfortable, local dining. One gets the feeling of dining in the midst of "regulars" - a good sign. We noticed that LaVilla offers a special 8 course pre fixe menu on the first Monday of each month to try something special (by advance reservation). We're vowing to try that sometime. read more

This was a great find here. I had never been in Morrisville before and had no clue on what or where to eat. So I decided to play it safe and find some pizza. I found La Villa with my Yelp app. It's located in a shopping center with a hod dog business and a liquor store. Didn't look too promising from the outside. But once you step in, you'll see that this is a quality restaurant. For lunch, you can order 4 entrees from a serving station behind the counter that has quite a few items to choose from. Very large servings of each, all for $8.95... Their pizza here is the grandmother style of pizza. Square and with plenty of garlic and olive oil to go with the cheese and other toppings. The dining room was very nice, and so were the waitresses. For a man starving to have anything for lunch, it was just by luck that I found this place.... read more

It was a big let down, we all were extremely disappointed. We ordered a large pie with onions, and a tri-color white pie. Both pizzas were over cooked and dried out. I cook pizza from scratch weekly for my family, these were left in for a few minutes too long. I can not say enough wonderful things about the incredible staff of LaVilla! We hosted my grandmother's memorial luncheon in the side room and the owner and staff were so kind and generous to our family! The food was, of course, Delicious! I called maybe 20 local restaurants looking for a spot to host the luncheon and the owner of LaVilla was the only person I talked to whose first words to me was "I am so sorry for your loss," every other restaurant I spoke to was all about the transaction but the folks at LaVilla treated us like family. There is a decent sized dining room and an awesome patio room which is good to book for parties or events. The servers are quick and very pleasant. Each Monday - Friday they serve a buffet with 16 choices of fresh Italian items for a steal of $10.95!! The price is great for the huge plate given to the customer.
