My review here, one star, is for the Corporate Decisions that led to my experience, not the restaurant itself. I've been a Wendy's customer for decades, literally *thousands* of visits. I will REMAIN a Wendy's customer - but I will never-again attempt eating there at breakfast. I've been there several times, bad experiences all around. A change in my life/health resulted in my needing medical treatment 3x a week at 9AM. Wendy's opens early enough to allow me to stop there on the way to the doctors. The restaurant was very clean, well-maintained, and staffed with friendly (if somewhat vapid and disengaged) youngsters. My orders (placed at the counter) were correct and rapidly filled. So far, so good. But the food I was delivered was - in a word - AWFUL. I trued several alternatives. I don't feel like cross-referencing their menu, but some highlights: 1. Maple Bacon Croissant combo. One side soaked in some form of ersatz honey, sticky and smelling of its core chemical compounds. And heat lamp warm - not even hot. Revolting. 2. Breakfast Burrito combo. Not horrible, but what twisted mind thought of Swiss cheese on a burrito? No wonder Mexico hates us. 3. Jalapeño Bacon Egg & Cheese Biscuit combo - respectable, in the sense that all of the core components were visible to the eye. But the quality of the ingredients were in question - they had no "heft" or flavor. 4. How hard can it be to make Hash Browns? Everyone else does it! Instead, Corporate expended tens of thousands of dollars in R&D, trying to make potatoes disgusting (a pretty hard thing to do, if you think about it.) 5. Oh, but there's more. Espying the graphic on the sign for the Jalapeño Spiced Potato's, I gave them a try. Yuk! Helpless overcooked shards of potato husks, glopped together with some sort of sour creamish adhesive, and some peppers dropped on the top to lure the unwary. Summing this up: 1. The quality of the ingredients was POOR. 2. The assembly, presentation, and mess factor was POOR. 3. The variety of breakfast offerings was POOR. There were no offerings which included BEEF. (At Wendy's!!! WTF?!) 4. My whole experience was POOR. This is not what Dave had in mind. C'mon, Wendy's, and tighten ship... or cut your operating costs, open at 10 AM, and save us this misery. read more

The service was terrible it took forever to get our order and they said they didn't have anything be has it's all out.

Really bad staff just on their phones really slow to respond could use better staff otherwise. Will not eat there again take my business elsewhere food was ok but not the best. The restaurant smelled like damp mildew. read more

Went through drive thru to order. Got home and my burger had every single topping I didn't want. They also forgot items from my order. I called the store 3 times and never got an answer. It's a joke that I spent money at this place! read more

Extremely slow. Waited 5 mins at microphone to place order. Ordered spicy chicken combo, small size. Pulled forward to first window, and 3 people are visible, two standing around (in fairness, one might be training the other, but still). Then got my bill and saw I was overcharged $11.52. read more

Went here the other day and they were out of baked potatoes but they were very nice about it and gave me a free pumpkin frosty, everyone who was working was awesome, store is very clean also read more

I always have a great and quick experience at this Wendy's. Food is always hot and made correctly. The staff is so kind, especially Ryan and the woman working drive through tonight. They really make my after work visits for my JBC worth it. read more

Went through the drive thru, nobody greeted me through the speaker so I said "helloo??" After 30 seconds a woman finally answered me and I ordered. I pull up to the window to pay, and the man there seemed a little out of it, and had very slowed speech when he told me my total. I gave him my card to pay and he stood there holding it, then told me my total a second time and I had to clarify "I gave you my card already". Another minute of awkward silence as he stands there trying to charge my card. They got my order right and everything, but was a very creepy experience. read more

The worst experience possible. They have an app offer for 2 premium chicken sandwiches for the price of one. I got up to the ordering speaker at the drive thru and saw a maple bacon chicken sandwich on their sign & asked if their app coupon would apply to the maple bacon and I was told yes. I replied "Great - I'll have two of those". It was lunch time so kind of slow. I pulled around to pay and was told the app coupon would not apply to those sandwiches, the lady said she hadn't known that. I asked for the manager. The about 20 year old "manager" Denise came to the window to explain that even though their person told me the coupon was ok they would not honor that because it was only for all other chicken sandwiches so there was no button for the new one. I said ok but as the manager it would be your job to make this right for the customer. She told me in a snotty tone she knows what her job is and they would not honor the app coupon. I called their corporate "customer care" number and it was disappointing at best. I explained everything and the response was "That's not right. Would you like a follow up call?". I asked why I would want that and she said "maybe they will offer you a free sandwich". I said I called this number to explain what happened and I don't need to tell the story again. I will not go to any Wendy's again. Not a huge loss to them since I only went a few times a year. Ugh. read more

-* is the rating This Wendy's is worst Wendy's in Naperville. There are no cars in the drive-thru except me and I am told they will be with me in a few minutes. A few minutes could be 5 minutes. What the heck is going on inside? I ordered a half salad. We no longer have half salads but the new size salad in between half and whole. Ok I will take it. When I got to the window the price of the salad was over $7. The salad was the size of a half saladAnd I wa charged more than a whole salad for the darn thing. I ordered a double stack. When I got home the double stack was cooked to death. I was over cooked the cheese could not be melted. the store should be closed down! read more

Went to drive through and both people at windows were NOT wearing their masks properly and not one of them greeted or said a word to us. The only person I saw wearing mask correctly was the manager. Will not be going back. read more

We went through the drive thru which was fast and the food came out hot! Went inside to grab water and napkins, and there was a spider sitting on the promo sign right by the cash register. I kept an eye on it the entire time haha. A group of 4 obnoxious girls came in and the staff kept their cool with them and stayed professional. Kudos to them! read more

We have eaten at this Wendys once a week for the last few years. The staff is courteous and we have never had a problem. Its may favorite cheap eats place for lunch, and I dont have to regret what I ate later. I love that they have so may alternates for Fries with their meals that more than anything keeps me coming back.. Wendys seems to get better and better with each change they make read more

Food was good, and we like their new sea salt fries better than the old ones, but the service - at least on this night - was painfully slow. Very disorganized. I was a little taken aback by the price. I guess I don't look enough but a dbl baconator is $6, chicken sandwiches are $4, plus add in fries...it's not cheap. read more

Past two times I've been here I've asked for extra onion on a burger. I've been given extra pickles both times. I even made sure they understood I said onion and they repeated extra onion back to me when I ordered and still F'ed it up. Super friendly staff!!! The systems were down today...rather than turning everyone away they said they are taking some orders up front as opposed to drive-thru. I noticed they were hand writing the orders and everyone seemed to be pulling together to get orders for customers right...made it up to order and they said they weren't charging anyone for the food since the systems were down!! What a nice, unexpected surprise! Thank you to the owner for allowing that!! I sure hope the owner puts some money into the building as it has seen better days...staff is really friendly. Hopefully they don't lose too much with this and can invest some into the building to make it more appealing. read more

Worst Wendy's I have been to. Got a cold burger with a stale bun. Luckily the fried had enough salt to somewhat save the meal. Will definitely be going to one of the other Wendy's in the area next time read more

From order to actually getting my food 20 mins not exactly fast food, drive thru guys was rude, ordered bacon egg cheese sandwich and potato wedge, was given sausage egg sandwich and cold wedges, ate the sandwich because I was not going to wait again. Definitely 5 stars. Been going here for over a year now. The same latino lady has been working the register the whole time (sorry if you're not latino, just taking a guess). She's great, so nice and welcoming. Like my last review says, she just gives you refills on your drink with a smile, anything I need she helps me with. I dont know who is making my food and packing it, but they are doing a terrible job. Why? I get a junior bacon cheeseburger with no lettuce and pickles. I get no lettuce (good...) but its plain besides the burger, cheese and bacon. I also get 4 nuggets. I get no sauce even though I ask for honey mustard. Pease note it's all referenced on the screen. My advice, learn to read. It takes an extra 5 seconds. read more

I've never had such a horrible experience at a fast food restaurant. I was #2 in line for over 10 minutes. Ramona was at the register and was a hot mess. She couldn't get the guy in front of me's order right to save her life. When it was finally my turn~ she fully screwed up my order. Two kids meals. Couldn't have been simpler! They are understaffed, rude and inept! Plus there were bugs flying around. Highly discourage you to go to this place. It shouldn't take 25 minutes in an empty restaurant to run in and grab 2 kids meals. Ramona should be FIRED! read more

Haven't been there for about a year. A year ago the restrooms were continuously dirty and service was poor. Just stopped by for a quick meal Saturday at 11 am. The restrooms were better as well as service. Received cold small fries but were replaced with hot medium fries. Gave them a 3 last year would have given a 1. Their getting better. read more
