Ignored trying to order food through the drive through. No one at the cashier window and no one at the pick up window. Really bad service!

Stopped in for a bite to eat. My wife had the chili with cheese and a frosty. She was very satisfied with her meal. I had the Son of a Baconator meal deal. Loved that they had the multi-option Coke machine to get your drinks from. My burger was okay not as moist as I was hoping for also the fries were like warm. So they had been sitting in the basket for awhile. Not for the material condition leaves something to be desired. Noticed one of the ceiling tiles has what appears to be mold or mildew from a roof leak, one of the TV's was not working. The soda area needs a complete overhaul and cleaning as you can see dirt on the walls and overspray on the wall. No employees were on the floor cleaning at all. There was just two couples eating in The dinning room at this time. Also need to change the water out in the bucket you mop the floors with very slippery in the dinning area. read more

Yesterday we watched as a worker threw a frosty, yea threw a frosty at a customer. We had been in line for over 20 minutes not wanting leave because we had a mobile order we had already paid for. When we finally get up to the first window the lady at the second window starts raising her voice and when I look up I see the customer snatch a drink from the worker and then the worker THROW the frosty at this lady. Conveniently located off the interstate, this location has very friendly staff that are quick at getting you what you want. Picked up a baconator breakfast sandwich, which was nice and hot, but had a bit too much of that white sauce on it. Otherwise, it was really good. read more

One thing that people might not realize is the wendy's gets fresh hamburger and they have a Patty machine that they do anywhere from 200 to 300 pounds for that day, every day they press out what they need. Any hamburger Patty that drives out a little bit get scorched they put it in a Pan and then that's what they chop up to put in their chili so the chili is made fresh with fresh meat. read more

I had download yelp to complain how horrible this restaurant is the employees are the worst no one is ever taking orders and when you pull up at the intercom no one's says anything until you yell hello a bunch of times they don't tell you to give them on second but rather stay quiet the whole time for 10 mins. I can see why this location has such a bad score now. Went by yesterday and ordered some food from the drive thru and service was just plain awful. Ordering wasn't so bad, but after ordering there was very long wait to get to the window to pay, then another long wait to get to the 2nd window where food is handed out, then once at the food window it was another long wait. Yikes. I did a mobile order, went up to the counter to pick it up, and the guy said that he just did not have my order. I showed him the receipt on my phone, but he still refused to do anything. He literally told me he didn't have my order, then proceeded to just get on his phone and mess around without helping me. Wendy's on University Boulevard in North Charleston is one of my favorite Wendy's locations in the Charleston area where the burgers are always juicy, the chicken nuggets are crispy, and the frosty is properly made. This is a great place to come when you are really hungry and need a lot of good food at a good value. The baked potatoes are really good here. Fast food implies that the experience will be fast. Not at this Wendy's. I knew the line was long when I got in line at the drive thru. As I waited for the occasional movement forward and time kept passing, I considered just leaving to find another option. But, I was really wanting the spicy chicken sandwich so I stayed. I was in line for 25 min before I got to the speaker and was told they would be back shortly. I waited until the cheerful voice returned several minutes later. I place my order for a plain spicy chicken sandwich and a lemonade. When I got to the window I could only see a single employee. She is older (seems there aren't many people younger willing to work these days) she looked like she had had a rough shift. I commented that she looked alone in there. She never said anything negative but I gather it had been a long solo act and she was wearing thin. She took payment and prepared my lemonade and then I waited for a bit longer. All in all, from the end of the line to having my food, 40 min! I did see another woman who looked to be a manager working with the tea earns. I assume there is at least one person in the kitchen but doubt more than that. My chicken sandwich was hot and tasty. It had a little odd texture when bitten into. Made me think of nearly done meat. In looking at the meat, it was cooked but still a bit off putting. I think lack of help and poor management are to blame here. Training on running a drive thru isn't rocket science but it sure should be done better than this. read more

We paid for a $5 biggie bag, which comes with a bacon double stack, and wouldn't you know, no bacon! Paid for a 4 for $4 with a crispy chicken sandwich add bacon and tomato, which costs $0.60 extra. Guess... no bacon or tomato. Cold nuggets. Kinda warm fries, and they practically threw the food onto the counter at my mother and I. I go here often and I usually have good reviews. The service was horrible. They were taking 1 order and then leaving everyone else sitting at the board so we had to wait for 14 minutes for the 4 cars ahead of us to get their food. When we did finally get to the speaker, we had to wait forever before they took our order. When we got to the window, no one spoke to us, we once again waited a long time. The lady completely ignored us until she stuck her hand out for payment, still never saying a word. Another person handed us our food, didn't speak. The card was handed back to us, still no speaking. I have never encountered such rudeness or slack employees. The night shift needs some retraining for sure!
