They didnt have the icing and instead of offering me a refund or alternative they kept walking past and ignoring me even when i asked for the manager several times. Spent 15 minutes waiting for them to give me a refund. I was the only one inside the store and they all looked lost like they had no idea what to do. No social skills whatsoever. If there was a 0 star option I would definitely rate it zero star. I used the drive-thru, there was only 2 cars in front of me, it took 15 mins from when I ordered to get to the window. When I got to the window I waited another 10 mins while I was being ignored. They never opened the window to acknowledge me. They were passing by doing their thing and saw me, but kept ignoring me. I kept waving until they finally opened the window, so now it's been about 22 mins. I should've driven away by then since the pay and pickup was the same window and I hadn't paid yet. They gave me a receipt and on it was the wrong order which I overpaid for because it was incorrect, next they still gave me the wrong food. So now I'm waiting again another 6 mins. I asked them why the service is so slow and unprofessional and the girl at the window had an attitude then slammed the window, then the manager was asking her what I said and came to the window ready to get defensive. Worst attitude I've every seen in customer service. They behaved so unprofessional. I'm still waiting, I still can't believe I didn't drive away, maybe because my daughter really wanted Wendy's. After getting the correct order, I asked for the correct receipt and they said they don't have it, I told them fine I'll call corporate about the horrible experience and the girl at the window said in a sarcastic passive aggressive tone, "have a nice day" and slammed the window again. They always take ages to answer the drive through. Having said that, once they answered, the server was polite and pleasant and a happy guy. They used to do a great grilled chicken with lots of nice tangy sauce - but not anymore. I ordered a classic chicken club and it was dry as a bone - minimal whisp of mayo on one side of the bun - the chicken piece was ok - but the usual crisp coating of fried whatever. So disgusting on every level that even after waiting for awhile in the line, I decided I couldn't eat anything that came from that kitchen. The ladies room is more gross than some porta john's I've seen at county fairs; the entire restaurant is filthy from the parking lot all the way as far into the kitchen as I could see. The food/service at this place is abysmal. Not normally a fast food guy but went through the drive through just now and ordered a bacon chicken sandwich. It tasted like it was made hours ago. Cold, dry bun...couldn't choke it down. On top of that, it took 20 minutes to get my order even though there were only two cars ahead of me. Called to complain but of course nobody answered, even after several attempts. And at the risk of piling on, it looks like several bombs were detonated on the drive in...potholes that would blow out a tire if you hit them. This place is a stain on the city of North Port. Not a big fan of this location. I wish I could give it more stars. The only reason it gets two stars is because the manager did everything in her power to make sure the order came out right. The employee running the register clearly needs to be moved to a different function, as she never seems to get the orders right, no matter how simple you break it down for her. Triple cheeseburger with bacon was too difficult for her to understand apparently so she sent the order to the kitchen wrong. Luckily the manager was there and told the kitchen what the order was supposed to be. The other times when there was no manager nearby it was quite a challenge to get our orders put in correctly. I got the chicken apple pecan salad and ate two fries from hubby's tray. A few hours later we both had the worst belly aches. Not sure of the grease was old or what but that was the only two things we had the same. I do appreciate the managers attempt to make sure our order was right, but she is also is a customer of mine from where I work so I think she just happened to be there talking to me at the right time. I am assuming not enough people say something about this woman and her inability to proper hear or place orders; because if they did, I'd imagine she would no longer be running that department. As far as the belly issues, I'll just say it must have been the grease, a one time situation because I've never been ill off of their food before. read more

The fries are always cold and every time I ordered the Asiago ranch chicken sandwich with the classic chicken through door dash it would be spicy chicken. I picked up in person tonight and it was the same thing. It's almost as if they already have spicy chicken cooked off and they can't be bothered to make some not spicy. We arrived for lunch and we're about # 8 in line. It was taking so long several people in line ahead of us decided to leave. It took 20 minutes to get food from time we got in line. The staff seemed disorganized and not well run. We ordered 2 salads...both were supposed to have bacon in them and it was forgotten. I did not go to try to get them fixed because I didn't want to deal with the waiting or confusion again. When I pay $8 for a salad and wait 20 minutes for it I would hope it was correct. Next time we will just go down the street to Panera and get quality food and service. This restaurant also feels dirty and not well taken care of. Broken tiles in order area, dirty bathroom and over all lack of care. Outside of store and parking area also feels beat. Ownership must not care. I will not return here. Lack of quality, care and timeliness on top of cleanliness issues makes it impossible to. No recommendation... lots of other restaurants in area that you can go to. read more

Drive thru took 20 minutes, employee cut me off before I was finished ordering. Had cosponsor different items and would only take one. I used the baconator one being as I would save $4.79. Every time I go there seems to be something wrong. You would think as a paying customer I could have my order right, guess not. My fiancé ordered a bacon cheeseburger with no tomato and it of course came with a small half tomato on it with shriveled lettuce and a metric ton of mayo on it. The bacon was red (ew) and chewy. The fries we got were completely incinerated. I bit into one and actually had a toothache. Also completely bland and disgusting. Also we ordered side salads one Caesar and one regular house salad and they gave us ranch for both just added a different cheese on mine. The manager staff there are rude and not helpful at all just look at you like you're stupid. Even the general manager once gave me the wrong order and when I told her it wasn't mine she told me I was wrong and that she doesn't make mistakes. She also charged me for the wrong order (drive thru) then I had to wait almost 15 minutes for them to remake my order. Yet I was wrong. All in all this visit will probably be the last at this location. Seems to me that I have to travel about 20 miles to have a correct order with no attitude. read more

I would love to let everyone know about my Wendy's experience tonight! I was on my way home from the gym and while sitting at a stop light, with my windows down, waiting to turn I noticed a Wendy's employee yelling at me from across the way. I had to turn my music down and had to really focus on what the gentleman was saying. Unfortunately, he was screaming "F**cking Faggot" and giving me the middle finger repetitively. I laughed and smiled at his rude, derogatory comment and drove away. I did call the establishment and spoke with the manager, Fred. Fred informed me he would take care of the situation and would speak with the employee. I hate to write this but I really don't believe Fred will be doing that. I had intentions of going back and going inside to speak with them but at the end of the day it really isn't worth the headache. I did want to take it a bit farther and make this post so people are aware that the Wendy's in North Port, Florida located at "15001 Tamiami Trail North Port, FL" has employees who have no problem shouting derogatory comments to people while wearing the Wendy's uniform. This is a shame because I do enjoy Wendy's on occasion but this experience with such a rude individual has soiled it for me. I no longer will give my business to this establishment. I hope anyone reading this will see there still is a lot of hate and negativity in this world. I would never dare speak to someone like that while wearing my uniform or in general for that matter. I hope the Wendy's company handles this situation for I unfortunately feel, Fred, will not. I'm not okay with something like this being brushed off like it was no big deal, it is. I am a proud homosexual but do not wish or need to ever be spoken too like that. Especially when I am minding my own business. I do not think that individual would like for me to shout rude, derogatory comments towards him when he is simply at work on a break.
