Stopped here late at night, did you know they're open 24 hours? Well they are. So they shut down the drive-through at some point in time after 10 PM it seems. Then you have to walk in and get what you want which is OK except they put some trash cans and other things across the entrance to try to deter people from coming in like they're closed but when I asked the girl when she came around from the back towards the front counter if they were open since the sign says 24 hours, she did say that they were open and she said I could climb over the debris to come in and order. She was nice enough about taking my order. They were two people there. I think all those trash cans and wet floor signs and everything that they put in the way to block off the entrance pretty much worked to scare away most people so they didn't have much to do. I got two beef and cheddar and a Gyro. I really like their gyros. It's a bit on the expensive side for what you get but I'm willing to pay it because it's tasty. This one was slightly low on the sauce in fact I don't know if there was any sauce on there at all but it was still pretty good. The bread is soft and spongy and makes it even better. The two beef and cheddar's were slap together like it was McDonald's. The meat was sort of talking right on the sandwich and didn't cover the whole bun and there was this quarter size squirt of cheese sauce on there that was supposed to apparently be the cheddar of the beef and cheddar. The bun was tasty but the sandwich was barely average. I piled on some horsey sauce and it made it better. I ordered some curly fries because for some unknown reason they only carry the potato latkes for breakfast these days. What the heck are they thinking? That's the whole reason that many people roll into that place. With that said apparently somebody likes what they're doing because my Arby stocks are up 30%.... I would stop here if it was the middle of the night and they were the only thing open but I don't think I would stop here during the day with other choices. I'm being very generous with the four stars because it was probably really at three but because they were kind enough to haul themselves out of the office and come out and make my food at 11 o'clock at night I'm giving them an extra star

Not as Recreational as RV's or as recreational drugs for that matter. Spending the night at truck stops is something I have become very accustomed to and this was no different. My night here on the Gulf Coast was spent at two or three different truck stops, and thus was a little bit disjointed... and I do think some of these truck stops are a little bit rough around the edges in terms of the clientele and the people hanging out here. But I found Refuge inside this Arby's which was perfectly nice with cool employees and their sandwiches are good too. Outlets can be an issue. I can't give them five stars like everybody else did because after all it is Arby's but I'm happy that they're open late and I'm happy that they seem to make their products better than a lot of Arby's locations do. Oh and holy fake reviews Batman.

Well, that's a local specialty in my home state so I had to find out. The plate was golden, I was very surprised. The beef was very plentiful and top quality (sliced correct thickness and piled HIGH). The kimmelweck roll was hardy enough to hold up, but didn't overpower the beef. It had the perfect ratio of caraway seed and salt. A generous side of au jus, and horseradish, completed the sandwich. I chose coleslaw as the side dish, and it was also very good. The service was tops, the environment was very friendly and inviting. This will be top of my list to visit, and recommend to others when they request a good place to dine out.

Both the hostess and our waitress were very friendly and welcoming. Our drinks were brought out quickly after we were seated. The Mountain Dew tasted almost like pure syrup, which made it difficult to enjoy. We ordered the Tavern Steak Hoagie with French fries, and I also had a bowl of lobster bisque. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite meet our expectations. The lobster bisque was extremely salty. The steak hoagie was small and wasn't what we expected for $24. We've enjoyed many steak and cheese hoagies over the years, and this one left us disappointed. Overall, the service and atmosphere were the highlights of our visit. While the food wasn't a hit for us this time, the staff was pleasant and the restaurant itself is clean.

Starting off with the ambience, the place is SUPER cute, decorated with a color theme I call "sherbet whimsy" with a smattering of smiling emojis. Our party of 6 was warmly greeted at the counter and immediately seated together. We started off with their delicious coffee, some hot & some cold...all excellent! The menu is fairly extensive for a breakfast joint, so the server gave us some good recommendations & said everything here is house made. Wow! OK... so we all got different menu items, and despite being warned about the HUGE portions...we could not have fathomed how large they are, but the prices do reflect how much food you're going to get! The breakfast burrito could easily feed four people. Our lone young male in the group - who might have a tapeworm based upon his ability to devour gigantic amounts of food - did his best, but could only consume about 2/3 of it. He said it was amazing, especially when paired with their delicious house made hot sauce. Two of us got two different bennie breakfasts, and raved about the hollandaise, the stretched "biscuits" & the fried chicken. Despite being smallish young ladies, they put a good dent in their meals. One of us got the outstanding corned beef hash, and thankfully generously shared with yours truly!! She could not eat even half of her meal, so I was glad to help out! :) The corned beef hash is not your standard ground-up version from a can. It is house made, with larger bits of potato, corned beef, onions & peppers. They get a perfect scald on it & serve it up with eggs & thick sliced perfectly toasted/buttered toast. My picky husband got the chorizo scramble with a side of fruit & really enjoyed it. I got the fantastic avocado toast with a side of potatoes. Everything was perfect... the thick slices of toasted wheat bread adorned with melted cheese then topped with very fresh & perfectly ripe avocado slices. I didn't prefer their scrambled eggs & should have gotten them fried instead, but it was still perfectly good, especially when dipped in their hot sauce. Thankfully my husband shared some of his fresh fruit, which was ripe & good. I dipped the pineapple into that hot sauce, which was delicious together. The place is very clean, including the bathrooms. The clientele were a menagerie from various demographics...retirees, blue collar workers, bikers, vacationers; everyone was pleasant & seemed to be enjoying their meals. This was one of the better meals we had during our trip, and definitely the best breakfast by far. It's so close to the airport, too. I'm so glad we got up early enough to be able to fit in a stop here before catching our flight home.

Our waitress, Rhonda was just as friendly and attentive, and honestly, I can't say enough about how welcoming everyone was. My mother and I both felt comfortable and taken care of, which really made the experience enjoyable. We both ordered the biscuits and gravy with a side of breakfast potatoes. The biscuits and gravy were very good, and I especially liked that they toast the biscuit before putting the gravy on top. The sausage gravy had nice-sized chunks of sausage rather than tiny crumbles that you can barely tell are sausage, which I really enjoyed. My only complaint was that the gravy was a little too peppery for my taste and I love pepper. The breakfast potatoes were delicious, although they were a little too salty for me. The price of the biscuits and gravy was reasonable and pretty much what I expected, but some of the other menu items seemed a little on the expensive side for a basic breakfast restaurant. The restaurant itself is definitely a basic, no-frills kind of place, and there are a few things that could use some attention. The bathroom, in particular, needs a good deep cleaning and probably a fresh coat of paint. The toilet was clean, but the walls and overall bathroom area looked like they needed some serious scrubbing and TLC. That said, I would definitely go back. The food was good, the service was wonderful, and the welcoming atmosphere really stood out to me. It's also convenient to where my mother lives, which is a big plus. Sometimes a friendly staff and a place that makes you feel welcome go a long way, and Family Grill definitely did that for us.
