As one yelper mentioned, this Wendy's has definitely improved, however they can still improve a bit more. That's why I was only able to give 4 stars. The food is usually good now, but the service needs some improvement. I came to this location and was going to go inside because the line was wrapping around the drive-thru. But inside it was over crowded at the front counter too. So I stayed in my car and joined the drive-thru line. It did more relatively quick. Especially compared to last years wait times. I finally placed my order and waited to come up to the window. This is where it was a little issue. So now Wendy's has the ability for you to earn points on everything you buy from them to redeem for a number of things. I paid with my credit card and forgot to show them the app for them to scan my barcode so I could receive the points for my meal. I realized right after they handed me my card back. I apologize and I asked could he correct my mistake which I admitted I made. He said I already rung it up. I asked if he could do a quick refund / resell so I could get the points on my relatively large order. He said "it's not possible". No sorry, no empathy, nothing. So I drove off, but I believe this is something that do have the capability to do. My Dave's Single Burger and French fries were good, meat tasted good, it was hot and the fries were all golden brown. There was only one fry that made it in my small sized order that was cooked too long and inedible. The biggest thing to note here is this location previously was notorious for incorrectly making your order. There was constantly something wrong and I would have to go back. But that wasn't the case this time. Also everyone else's order was good and correct in the car too. I will definitely be back to this location, well until the new Stamford location opens.

PROOF:

omg the workers dont listen. every time i order a burger with only ketchup and nothing on it they always put pickles and onions on it. my god why wont these workers listen???????

I know it's technically fast food, but it definitely feels a tier above the usual spots, especially since they offer healthier options like grilled chicken instead of just fried food. The entire experience was incredibly smooth. I ordered and paid ahead of time using their mobile app. As soon as I pulled up, the app had me confirm I was on-site, immediately gave me an accurate ETA, and clearly directed me on where to go pick up my meal. The food itself was fantastic. I got the grilled chicken club sandwich, a side of fries, and their hibiscus lemonade--everything was fresh and delicious. What really blew me away, though, was the actual restaurant environment. The dining area is spacious, impeccably clean, and flooded with tons of great natural light. They even have fresh flowers on every single table, which is such a nice, unexpected touch for a quick-service spot. Service here is top-notch. The staff is consistently friendly, but there's one elderly woman working the floor who really stood out. On two separate occasions now, she's come over and kindly offered to clear my table for me. I love that this location employs seniors, and she honestly looked genuinely happy to be there. It really says a lot about the positive culture management has built. Quick Tip if you're driving: There is plenty of parking, but try to avoid the spaces right up front. A lot of the third-party food delivery drivers tend to just dump their cars along the curb instead of pulling into an actual spot, which can easily block you in while they wait for their orders. It's pretty frustrating, especially if you're on a tight schedule trying to get back to the office!

However, yesterday my group and I incurred going through the drive through - initially the employees just walked past our car and didn't ask for our names which led to confusion when we pulled up to receive our food. We were then instructed to park and wait for our food. After five or so minutes we went inside to ask for our food, or a refund. The manager Will was less than pleasant, speaking under his breath towards us and seemingly unwilling to fix the issue. However, Sandy (who was in training) was very nice and amicable towards us throughout the whole situation. Chick-fil-A tried their best to make it right. But, overall Will's customer service was poor at best, even over the phone. Look out it you end up supporting this Chick-fil-A!

They didn't have chicken ready, so I had to wait a few minutes for fresh ones, which was not a problem. Once my food was ready, they brought it to my table. My mild code bites were nicely spiced and the chicken was cooked perfectly and moist. I didn't love the spice coating because I thought it was too dry. I did like the sauce. The next time I think I'll get "country" style, without the spice dust. The real standout here was the side of Mac & cheese. The twisty elbow pasta held a lot of that amazing cheese sauce. The employees were super friendly and polite.

The chicken sandwiches were pretty good. The chicken was nicely seasoned-could use a touch more, the veggies were fresh, the bread (potato bun) was really good. It held the sandwich all the way through and didn't break up. I got mine medium so it wasnt too spicy, but overall was cool. The chicken tenders were for my kid- he got them country (no spice). The chicken was solid- same as the Sandos, it could use a bit more seasoning but overall decent chicken. My biggest gripe was the wait and the fries. It took quite a while for my order to be ready and the restaurant wasn't that crowded. Maybe 4 people in the store and possibly a car in drive-thru lane. Yet, when we received the fries they were cold. I went back in and the team was nice enough to provide newer fries and they were warmer, but not much better. My last issue was the sheer amount of fries provided. There are so few given to the customers. When you look at the pictures on the site they show a healthy amount of fries, but what was provided in the order didn't even scratch that surface. I didn't take pics of the fries-too underwhelmed, but... Please do better.

It looks like any other sub shop however there are rules. So make sure you read the menu. There is a standard way of ordering - as in lingo. I was actually nervous when I was up to order because everyone ahead of me seemed to know exactly what to say? You have to call your order but the # and then say "mikes way" or list off the ingredients you want. Honestly the guy making my sub seemed very unhappy to be there and wasn't very kind. I ordered the half sub and it was more than enough. I wished I could have chosen a different bread because this role seemed just basic. But the fillings made up for it. Fresh cut meats and cheese, thin shredding lettuce and tomato then mayo. It was great in its simplicity. I'd say the price is reasonable for what you get. If you can, definitely give it a try!

I started out with a veggie burger. I always get this burger with a side of avocado cream sauce because it's a game changer. This sauce tases amazing with the veggie patty. I also got their BLT Ranch Crispy Chicken Sandwich, which was equally delicious, although they could've put a little more ranch on it. I paired that with their onion rings which were crispy and satisfying. I dipped them in my leftover avocado sauce as well. I had read some suspiciously positive reviews about Dairy King on Yelp, and ordered a cheeseburger and fries. I get that generations of Norwalkers and others have fond memories of their time here, and it was with that fact in mind that I ignored my intuition and entered the outdated, near-empty facade just after noon. For the new and unititiated, a word of admonition: do not let your senses fool you. Dairy King looks like a dive, and tastes like a dive, and not in any delicious way. I get that going pretty much anywhere for ice cream on a hot summer day is fun. What I do not get are comments here asserting that Dairy King's food, particularly their burgers are anything more than mediocre, studiously average at best, and a dubious step up over major chains. To all who will, in the the romantic twilight after Little League games or movies, arrive at Dairy King hungry and ready and willing to scarf down just about anything, I hope for your sake that good experiences continue, that fine memories of family and friends are created and then savored in the hopefully delicious silence of your unfolding life. But for me Dairy King is far behind even the middle of the pack in it's chosen catagory, my days of eating "just about anything" are well behind me, and Dairy King will have to take it the rest of the way without me, at least until the day the real estate developers lean on City Hall to condemn that section of Main Avenue (under a phonied-up interpretation of the eminent domain statutes) and Dairy King inevitably (and blessedly) falls to the wrecking ball, destined to become mixed-use retail with residential up above.

They were in a heavy book (reminded me of a high school yearbook) with six pages of choices plus an insert of daily specials. Post Road is the kind of diner that diner lovers dream of. Their menu is an embarrassment of riches and would seamlessly fit in alongside anything you would find on the Sunrise Highway on Long Island or on Route 17 in New Jersey. Three of us walked in around 11:30am today, and our first order of business was deciding if we'd go for lunch or breakfast food. We all went for breakfast plates- pancakes ($9.99) with a side of scrambled eggs ($2.99), GF Pancakes ($12.98), and for me a "Protein Breakfast" ($13.99) and a coffee ($3.49). So, I'm sure you're asking, "what on earth is a protein breakfast?' Well, it was four egg whites, a few gorgeous tomato slices, and a nice piece of grilled chicken. It was pretty filling and everything tasted great. Our server was efficient and professional and swiftly brought over a "to go" box for the excess of those enormous pancakes. The dining room is awesome, a real throwback to the 1950's with plenty of old-time booths, art deco neon signs, checkerboard ceramic tile, and music\entertainment\pop culture images everywhere. We really enjoyed our visit !

The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and really informative. They're happy to walk you through the menu and make recommendations based on what you like. It's also surprisingly vegetarian- and vegan-friendly, they offer vegan meats so you can swap them into a lot of the classic dishes, which is rare for a taqueria. The food is outstanding. Even the free chips and salsa they start you with are memorable: the chips are fresh and super crunchy, and the salsa has real depth of flavor, not just heat. The entrées are some of the best value around, the burritos are massive (one could easily feed two or three people), and for takeout, the quesadillas literally come in a pizza box, which tells you everything you need to know about portion size. Their appetizers, queso, and house-made hot sauce are all excellent and full of flavor, not just spice. Most times I've been, the service has been fast, even when they're busy. The interior is clean, colorful, and decorated with authentic touches, so it feels fun and relaxed whether you're dining in or just grabbing takeout. If you're searching for great Mexican food in Norwalk, big portions, vegetarian/vegan options, and friendly service, Rincon Taqueria is easily one of the best spots around. Highly recommend.
