Two days in a row i ordered several coffees, and what they delivered was no coffee at all, just a stack of empty cups (unused). Of course i had paid a tip to the delivery person, but he drove all this way to deliver an empty bag. The first time i just assumed it was an odd mistake. The second time, today, when they delivered more empty cups, it felt like a cruel joke. Not falling for that again. There's no point ordering coffee from this place! Rude service & not child friendly I ordered 2 happy meals and asked for milk. The McDonld's employee told me they were out. Disappointing but fair enough. Then I asked what else they had (answer: apple juice and chocolate milk) neither of which were an option for us. I asked for water instead. He said it would be bottled, which seemed fine. (I ended up being charged extra when I saw the receipt later.) He proceeded to miss what I said several times when I relayed the order for the adults, so I had to keep repeating it (note: this was not misheard, he just repeated back the order as if I hadn't specified additional items - I believe I was muted or something?). Then I ordered an ice cream cone for my kids and asked for it in a cup. I was told that then it's a sundae (which was double the price). I asked if I could just have a cup to go with the cone. He said no, then it's a sundae?!? Since when do they not provide cups for little kids, especially in a car at the drive thru? Also my nuggets were tiny and flat. It was pretty sad. Norwalk McDonald's: I'm done with you. To be clear, I blame management and the franchise. Tone at the top is reason the customer service is so terrible here. The food was accurate and warm, but all of the sweet tea's were unsweet and the iced coffees were very bitter. We went inside to have the tea's fixed and they tasted barely any different. read more

I have been going to this McDonald's for over a decade, and I absolutely love them! As a kid, they would be understanding and exchange happy meal toys. They would often give me extra nuggets, classic golden brown delicious. Their soda machines are always on point, with no run-down syrup. The fries are a crisp salty goodness. I ordered one drink and waited 20 minutes in the drive through. They were allowing people to walk up to the drive through window and order making everyone who already ordered wait. When I got my drink the person at the window gave me a drink covered with Coca Cola on the outside. They didn't even give me a straw I had to ask for one it should be common sense to give a straw with a drink. i am very mad about my experience at this location. the employees at the drive thru were not only clueless but also stupid idiots. The woman at the drive thru had no brain and did not understand what we are ordering, the man who gave us our food was the worst. HE DIDN'T GIVE US ANY KETCHUP AND ONLY ONE NAPKIN for the four of us. And, he only gave us two six piece chicken nuggets instead of three, one barbecue sauce. I just don't understand why he didn't give us ketchup, it's the most popular condiment and barbecue not so much. In conclusion, I do not recommend coming to this location and you probably will have a better chance at getting some sort of service at another location in danbury. I have NEVER been in a McDonalds that was this clean. I placed my order with a live person! and went to ladies room to wash my hands before order was ready. It was Meticulous!!! I sought out the lady responsible for the area and thanked her for taking such care with everything. I also told the manager. This is a review for all McDonalds that use ordering kiosks. I simply can't stand this attempt at a fancier dining experience. Nobody likes the kiosks. They are soooo slow. And I hate the idea of someone pouring my drink for me at a self service counter. It just seems stupid when someone walks around asking how everything is. How do you *think* it is? Went to this location this past Friday, after ordering food for my kids (special request burger) and driving to the window I was informed that they were only accepting cash. There was no explanation as to why only accepting cash. This is something that should have been said when placing the order. I was super frustrated after a long day of work. 5:30 pm on a Friday and no debit accepted and no explanation. I do not carry cash especially during covid time. Ok so my father payed my mother and my lunch and he did not want anything( he was in a separate car) when we were in the drive through after my father payed we tried to explain to the cashier That he was paying we could not have got 3 words out before the guy started yelling at us to go go get out when we pulled up to the window to pick it up the lady didn't even question and gave it to us. This is my friendly-neighborhood McDonalds. It's definitely one of the better ones. However, the service can be really slow if you happen to wander in at the wrong time. I would say between 7pm-8pm you will probably have time to check all your emails and facebook notifications while you wait for your order (especially fries). They also get food deliveries around that time and the $#@! truck blocks off the drive-thru. They should be scheduled for a later time. The new décor inside is really snazzy and all, but seating seems more limited now. The outdoor seating is a nice option in good weather, but my daughter and I miss the play place, for nostalgic reasons. :) read more

Don't bother with this place in the morning. Numerous times going to the drive up and you will get what you ordered 40% of the time. When you say thank you upon receiving your incorrect order, the employee just looks at you and walks away. I don't know if it's because they are overnight employees, they have to open early or they just don't like their job. Service with a smile would be welcome. On second thought, forget that.
