The menu is fairly large with lots of Dillinger coded menu items to choose from. The prices were very reasonable with decent portion sizes (i.e. no highway robbery here lol). We started with the onion rings. They had a thick piece of onion and equally thick batter. The batter had a bit of a beer seasoning, slight oily taste and a moderately crunch. Really good tasting ring! The side salad was small with a nice mix of simple side ingredients - tomatoes, onions and cheese. My wife had the Wheelman wrap. She said it was loaded with tasty turkey and bacon flavors. She liked the fresh taste. The fries were thinner and crispy. I ordered the Silent Shot breaded tenderloin. It was very thick and juicy. The pork taste really came out nicely. The breading was thick like the onion rings - slight crunch and slightly oily. The sandwich came with all the usual toppings. The Cole slaw was also very tasty. The small slaw pieces were almost diced. The mayo base was slightly sweet with a hint of vinegar. It stuck to the slaw pieces without being soupy. The other diners have been pleasant. It's not a rowdy or demanding crowd from my experience. There seem to be some regulars. Of all the fast food places available, I like Burger King the best. One reason why I like Burger King is that they have the Impossible Whopper. Even though it's been overdone or sloppy at times and never resembles a stock photo, it is something I can eat and veganize. Fry portions seem smaller than I remember from days of old and prices have definitely gone up quite a bit. It's about $10 for the Impossible with a medium fry and close to $12 for the large Impossible combo. There is a charge for water if you're not into consuming the fountain drinks. The regular cheeseburger patty isn't big enough to fit the bun and have also increased in price. You gotta love the signature sesame seed bun though. It wasn't clear at first whether they were waiting to order. I walked up to the only open register of the two there. The young man behind the register was sitting quite low to the floor. It became apparent after I ordered that he had a broken foot or leg because he wore a colorful cast. He was personable and promptly took my order. I sat on one of the low stools attached to one of the couple of tables in the place. I didn't wait long. I saw two others pick up food as I waited. I gathered from them that our numbers were on our receipts. No directions had been given, and my receipt is hard to read. A family was in the process of finishing ordering as I picked up my bag. The woman calling out numbers was not friendly and said nothing other than the number for each. She set my bag down on a metal counter next to a puddle of Coke and immediately walked away.
