Spontaneously stopped at this McDonald's for the first time on my way home from an appointment. The drive thru appeared to be closed as it had cones blocking the menu and speaker. No signage saying it was closed from what I could see. Went inside. Tall self-serve menus which are new to me took up more floor space than the limited seating area. At least one appeared to be out of order. They looked filthy and blocked the view into the restaurant. A couple people were waiting for orders, it turned out. It wasn't clear at first whether they were waiting to order. I walked up to the only open register of the two there. The young man behind the register was sitting quite low to the floor. It became apparent after I ordered that he had a broken foot or leg because he wore a colorful cast. He was personable and promptly took my order. I sat on one of the low stools attached to one of the couple of tables in the place. I didn't wait long. I saw two others pick up food as I waited. I gathered from them that our numbers were on our receipts. No directions had been given, and my receipt is hard to read. A family was in the process of finishing ordering as I picked up my bag. The woman calling out numbers was not friendly and said nothing other than the number for each. She set my bag down on a metal counter next to a puddle of Coke and immediately walked away. I looked in my bag and saw the outside of the burger wrappers were greasy. I also had no napkins. No napkins were to be found there nor at the messy drink station. The woman had disappeared, so I had to ask the guy at the counter. He politely brought me a few, but I felt bad because it was clear it was difficult for him to walk in his cast. A few flies were inside the restaurant, and in addition to the spill on the pickup area counter, the drink station counter and floors were quite dirty with spills as well. Thankfully, the burgers were a treat for my dogs and not for human consumption. The price was quite high at $4.25 or $4.26 (receipt barely legible) for two regular plain cheeseburgers. At home, I saw the burgers were sloppily put together. Patties hanging out of buns on one side. Cheese barely melted. I was glad to get out of there. The filthiness is inexcusable. The cashier himself was alright. McDonald's should have given him something more ergonomic and closer to the eye level of the customers to sit on unless his injury required him to be that close to the floor. I suppose it's commendable he was working despite his injury. The woman handing out orders should make guests feel welcome and appreciated and not just a number. It wasn't busy. I wasn't able to take the online survey because I can't see the entire code. I seriously doubt I would return. The McDonald's company I knew since childhood is evidently no more, and this is the dirtiest one I've ever visited. read more

Stopped here on my way from Kalamazoo to Indianapolis late on a Friday evening. Both windows were exceptionally friendly, especially the window to get the food. I ordered a fillet of fish and she said it was gonna be about three minutes for fresh fish and so we sat there and we talked for a little bit. She was very sweet because of her I would go back just to talk to her again. read more

Stop at this Mcdonald's on my way back and forth to visit family for several years as it was convenient. While the food I received was typical of a Mcdonald's, the Frappie machine had been "broken" for the close to two years that I have stopped there. On a recent visit, couldn't do anything with Ice cream in it (I asked for a chocolate shake) which reading other reviews appears to not be something new. They appear to do decent business but not fixing equipment or being able to provide the items on their menu is not up to the standard one would expect from Mcdonald's. Someone from Mcdonald's corporate needs to visit and pull their franchise until they can bring the place up to the corporate standards. read more

I can't believe I'm reviewing a McDonalds, because my expectations are pretty low anyway. But McDonalds generally is pretty standard everywhere. We go in and they have no hash browns. Okay, slightly annoyed but likely out of our control. But then the gal taking our order was only like half paying attention to us. She kept staring off at other people and making us repeat ourselves. Mis- management is an understatement at this location. They likely WILL be out of at least one item you ask for. Your order WILL be wrong that's a guarantee. Avoid this location at all costs. Looks absolutely terrible, the store is covered in nats and garbage. The employees were screaming and yelling about drama and changing music while having 6 people waiting. This might be one of the worse McDonalds you could visit. The workers have almost no idea what they are doing. You'll have to repeat the order multiple times and they'll still get it wrong. Then they will bring you someone else's order There are flies that hang about the roof that they don't seem to care about either. Service is usually very poor. Staff are sometimes rude and act like they would really rather be somewhere else. Service is very slow especially inside. Staff many times are wearing soiled clothing and are sloppily dressed. Most of the time when we have gone there they are out of something we want for example Diet Coke, a smoothie, frappe and even a sandwich with egg. Went there the other day and tried to order s diet coke and a sausage McMuffin with egg and was told they were not offering those that day! If it wasn't the only game in town for McDonalds would never do there again. read more

Fast friendly service, clean restaurant and great fresh food! I love going here knowing I'm getting great service and food. Some days they're a little busier than others but I don't mind the wait! We walk in to see this touch screen instead of cashier. Struggle through at least five minutes trying to place my own order instead of the cashiers pushing buttons take my number go sit down and wait and wait and wait finally go up to the counter ask manager snaps at me like it's my fault 2122 minutes where I put my order in at 9:44 AM 10 People Pl. orders pick up orders left with orders before I got my food 944 to 10:03 AM when I finally had it in my food because I was up there demanding my money back and that the manager had the audacity to be rude to me. Hands-down the worst experience at any restaurant ever in the history of food do not eat here please. And to top it all off with a cold one number on the door for the franchise owner nobody answers it actually cuts me off and says I'm not authorized to call this number so we welcome your comments or complaints but they don't they don't care and I which McDonald's but still if I go and I pay $25 for breakfast for me and my family at a fast food restaurant that's what it should be out without suck anyway but it should always be fast. My husband and I stop at this McDonald's which is part of Gallahan Travel Plaza every time we travel through Indiana. It is off of 31 N outside of Peru, IN. I just have to say how awesome the service is. It is always crowded because of all the travelers but they get you in and out in a hurry. The best part is that their fries are perfectly cooked. We don't eat McDonald's very often but when we do we like fries that are cooked all the way. Not cold, raw, oil soaked ones. The fries at this location always come out hot and golden brown. Thumbs up to this McDonald's for getting it right!! read more
