Wendy's is not known for their breakfast offerings but when I saw they were offering biscuit sandwiches for $1, it seemed like time to give them a try. I figured I would grab a bunch for work so I rolled up on the drive thru a little before 7. The window staffer was friendly and we made a mix of the available sausage and bacon biscuits but they needed time to make the chicken biscuits. The wait was a little longer than expected. On the whole the sandwiches were tasty and satisfying. The chicken was definitely my favorite, with a hint of honey but I'm a chicken biscuit guy. read more

Stopped in for a quick bite around 9PM on Wednesday last week. Was traveling with a friend (work) and after driving all day wanted a quick bite and get a hotel for the night. Ordered the single meal and a small chili. All the food was cold....especially the chili and burger....so disappointing...this stuff isn't cheap so the guys need to do better. Just so sad. Decided to give this place a try as we don't always get Wendy's in our fast food rotation. Got some chicken nuggets and a cheeseburger. The chicken nuggets tasted stale and rubbery as if they were microwaved from frozen. The spicy ones were worse than the regular ones. I requested extra lettuce and tomatoes in the burger and I got the skimpiest lettuce leaf and tomato slice you could imagine. Not a good impression and likely won't be returning. Wendy's management reached out to me by email and invited me back in for a meal on them. That's cool, I appreciate that but I've been trying to not eat fast food so often lately; I probably would have opted for a meal coupon I could use later but my curiosity got me: I wanted to see if their chicken sandwich would hold ground against the big-name chicken competitors. Food is the same as it would be anywhere. We went through the drive through, and after we got our food we realized they didn't give us any condiments. We were about to drive off, but it wasn't busy so we backed up and asked for them. If there was a line we wouldn't be able to do that. I don't know if it was a mistake or they only give it if people ask, but it seems weird that they wouldn't include it. Clean looking restaurant, but experienced a confused, non-communicative cashier unfortunately. I try not to review fast food places too much, but for some reason I feel needed to review just the cashier experience, and not the establishment itself. I do understand that employees are paid at minimum wage and that I feel wholeheartedly for that...I mean we all started somewhere in the earning moolah chain. I get that during the pandemic a lot of places are short staffed, but that does not excuse the terrible customer service. This is without a doubt the worst. I ordered a medium frosty and a small fry via drive through, I got a small frosty. Normally I wouldn't be upset, simple mistake. What got me was the rude drive through person, very short and curt. Did not allow me to finish before he decided I was done ordering. Not at all polite. Upon receiving my order, I went inside to get the correct size frosty. Not only did the manager himself see myself and 5 others standing in line, but he did not acknowledge us. He ignored everyone for a good 10 minutes before curtly saying "Next next next." As if we were holding him up. After taking one order, he goes back to ignoring the rest of us in line. No "just one moment, please." Turned his back and did not acknowledge anyone for another 10. I got tired of waiting, so I left. I did happen to see only 2 people working the drive through, so I understand how hectic it can be, especially when it's lunch time. I've done my time working food service. But to blatantly ignore customers standing around for more than 10 minutes is terrible customer service. You can at least greet and say "I'll be with you in a moment." Two stars because I love chocolate frosties and fries. I won't be coming back to this location again. I work just a few blocks down the road, so i go there pretty frequently. I would be able to go on my lunch and have no problem paying with apple pay, as when you search their directions they mention they accept it. I go there a week or so later, they deny my apple pay and i go without lunch. I tried again the next week, accepted apple pay no issues. I went back yet another time only for the same guy working the window to tell me they do not accept apple pay and never have. Yet, when this other friendly woman is working window she has no issues. If you do not accept apple pay make it known on all internet platforms so people don't continue getting the wrong impressions. I was really looking forward to trying Wendy's breakfast. Ordered the bacon egg and cheese on a biscuit and it was cold, the biscuit was dry and hard as a rock. I've liked Wendy's ever since I was a child and my Nana would take my Sister and I there every week for lunch. It's quality has changed little, a good thing, and the menu has stayed relatively the same. The new items are a great addition! I was driving home with Justin C. when we were hungry and needed something quick so we can get back on the road. We saw a sign that there was a Wendy's at the next exit. Not really familiar with the area we took the exit and kept our eyes peeled for the Wendy's. Here is a tip: if you are Southbound and you exit, it's on the left hand side and you better get over to the left lane quick! We had to drive past and then hook back around. Their new fries are a major disappointment, but their burgers are my favorite fast food indulgence. They're extremely fast here, usually.
