I'm a huge fry gal and acme helps satisfy my fried potato needs! I am obsessed with their tator tots! They come out hot and ready to pop in your mouth. The outsides are always nice and crispy and the insides are fluffy (this is true for any of the fries). While I haven't tried of their burgers, I am a huge fan of their chicken tenders. They've always come out juicy and well seasoned. They have plenty of sauces to choose from and you can ask for any sauces you want. My favorites are the normal ranch and chipotle ranch. There are a few tables outside, but the place tends to get full during peak hours! Service is always friendly and food comes out fast.

Busy spot. Small inside area to place your order. Was a bit cramped with people in line to order and pick up their order, people getting condiments and also people getting drinks from the soda machine. Outside seating only. Thankfully the weather was good. I found the burger to be a little greasy and didn't love the sauce they put on it. I likely won't return.

Acme burger was very delicious. The quality of the beef tasted phenomenal, especially with all the toppings that you were able to add. I almost didn't have enough time to take a picture as I was so excited to sink my teeth into this burger. I also got the sweet potato garlic fries with barbecue sauce on the side and they added just the right amount of garlic. The service was super friendly and very helpful when it came to any questions that I had about the menu. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a good burger.

Gone here a few times now. The burgers and the fried food are excellent. I had a fried chicken sandwich last time that was unfortunately underseasoned. Kind of a bummer because it was perfectly crispy. It was the Sonoma Hot Chicken special, the picture showed aioli on it, it none came on my sandwich. I bet if that aioli had been there it would have made up for the underseasoned chicken.

It was my first time trying a burger, and it was so yummy! The food was fresh and perfectly fried. I really like this place because I can sit outside, enjoy the great service, and relax in a good environment. I'll definitely come back!

How have I not been to Acme Burger before?! Vibe: nostalgic burger joint! Order inside, sit outside or take food to go. They have a tent up over the outside seating during the winter. Their motto is "Good Food Fast" and they mean it! We tried: Sonoma Mountain Beef Company Burgers (Locally raised, hormone & antibiotic free, grass fed & grain finished) -a single with the included lettuce, tomato and Awesome sauce, plus cheddar and caramelized onions for me + -a double with the included lettuce and tomato, plus cheddar for him Beyond Burger (Plant-based protein, hummus, no awesome sauce) -single for a friend - her fave! We also tried regular Shoestring Fries, Sweet Potato Fries, and Cajun Fries - all winners! We didn't try but need to: garlic fries, truffle fries, tater tots, and sweet potato tots (I'm intrigued!). Our food was ready fast and the prices seem fair for the quality. My burger was substantial and hit the spot. Really enjoyed the fries too. It was a solid choice and I'll definitely be back. I'm impressed that they can maintain such an extensive menu. They also offer fried chicken, turkey burger, tuna burger, hot dogs, grilled cheese, salad, soup, Straus organic soft serve, milk shakes, and Pepsi fountain sodas.

Cool little building, looks like an old place to get your oil changed . Nice rustic feel to it. Customer service was great. Great attention to detail. Smells good as well. This is all before I've got my order. -- ----- The burger itself was not bad at all, but it certainly was nothing to ride home about . I would give it a 6.8 out of 10.. I was very excited to try this place when I read the comments, but sadly it fell short for me . I haven't ate anything today, so it definitely does hit the spot.... But I expected more flavor in the meat. This is of course bias so give them a shot .

We were directed to Acme Burger by a banker at the nearby, Wells Fargo. The service was a little bit slower than I would've liked, but it was obvious they had a lot of to go orders that they were preparing. The restaurant is very cute with outside tables only . Generally, the outside area was clean, although there were a couple of splotches on a couple of the tables from prior diners. Both Dad and I had burgers. Mine was lettuce wrapped. They were tasty and juicy. We also shared an order of fries which were crispy. we use the secret sauce and ranch dressing as dip. Dad had a chocolate milkshake which surprisingly he did not finish. I think it was too rich for him. I felt the prices were reasonable and if I was back in the area, I would certainly not hesitate to eat there again.

Cute little converted Gas Station on a corner with outdoor seating only. Extra point for all the sauces - they have MALT vinegar for the fries even! My friend and I both ordered a child's chicken strip meal. Which looked delish and is plenty for 1 adult. I was eating one of my chicken finger and the 2nd half of it was a funny texture - kinda too chewy. I thought maybe an anomaly- but then my friend had the same issue with one of her tenders (2 tenders per order) - It was not undercooked, but kinda that texture - I am wondering if the chicken had been thawed in the microwave, then fried, it was that sort of texture - so not 5 stars for me - but the fries were delish.

The front of the place is looking really bad and not kept up. Love the food

Love the food and the service. The curb appeal is really lacking. Would you willing to clean up the street/weeds? Like when a restaurant has a dirty bathroom not what the kitchen looks like.

Delicious. The staff gets a little overwhelmed. The burgers are enough to share. If you don't, serious food coma.

Our server was incredibly friendly, and the entire room shared the same warm, easygoing vibe. The small, speakeasy themed space was already packed at 5 PM, so reservations seem like a must. Everything we ordered was well-prepared and delicious, but the standout dishes were the beet salad and the shrimp & grits. The beet salad had a perfect mix of textures; chopped pistachios, tender beets, and crunchy radishes over a pillowy ricotta. I finished the salad wishing there was more. The shrimp & grits featured a potlikker sauce that absolutely lived up to the hype; it made the dish. I wish the shrimp & grits were served in a bowl rather than a shallow dish. I found myself chasing the sauce and polenta around the plate, trying not to push it over the edge. That said, if it were in a bowl, I might have just drank the sauce, so perhaps this is the restaurant's way of preserving a bit of dignity for its guests. Next time, I'm hoping to visit when oyster po' boys and fried green tomatoes are on the menu.

The vibe is effortlessly chill, with whimsical decor--think antique lamps, an old record player, and lots of little details that make you want to look around. The whole place felt alive in the best way--buzzing with conversation, laughter, and people clearly having a great time. We didn't have a reservation, but lucked out with seats at the community table. Bonus: the other guests were super welcoming, which just added to the fun, communal feel. We hit happy hour, and wow--it's a good one. Tons of interesting bites and a solid drink lineup. I went with a whiskey sour, my friend had the ginger beer on draft (very refreshing), and we shared the prawns, Brussels sprouts, and creamy mac & cheese. Everything was seriously delicious. Shoutout to our server, Melanie--friendly, attentive, and totally on it, even with the place packed. A couple things to note: it does get loud, so maybe not your spot if you're after a quiet, intimate dinner. Also, the happy hour menu listed Brussels sprouts but didn't mention bacon--I'm vegetarian, so that was a bit of a surprise. (It is noted on the regular dinner menu, which I admittedly didn't check.) All in all, such a fun, lively spot. I'll definitely be back for more bites and cocktails.

Talk about happy tastebuds. Our main dish was a beautiful salmon fillet prepared perfectly with just a hint of lemon rubbed on, and presented on a bed of shelled brussel sprouts lightly roasted. The coup de gras was the dessert: a slice of peanut butter and a flourless chocolate cake. Luis recommended a sangiovese for my wife and she enjoyed it immensely. We sat ourselves at a table, grabbed a menu we saw sitting near the bar at the center of the venue, and found an employee walking around to place our food order. He was friendly and helpful and provided excellent service. It took about 25 minutes for our food to be ready which was kinda long, but after trying our dishes, it was totally worth the wait. The potato skins were like mini loaded baked potatoes, but fluffier and easier to eat. It was super cheesy and tastier than I expected, especially with the ranch and sour cream that came on the side. The classic pot pie was a large dish and quite filling, with plenty of sizable chunks of chicken and veggies mixed together nicely in a thick and flavorful roux. Not to mention the flaky buttery crust on top. Wow, I really liked this. And my bf finished every last bite of his grilled salmon dish, no complaints. The lemon drop cocktail was yummy, just the right sweetness and a good amount of alcohol without ruining the flavor. All in all, we had a 5-star experience at Torches and wouldn't hesitate to return.

We really enjoy the vibe of downtown Petaluma, and the ambiance of the restaurant was nicely set with fresh cut flowers in the dinning room.
