I went to this store yesterday to order a couple of burgers. I was the ONLY one inside waiting in line. Probably 4 different people told me "someone will be right with you". After standing there and hearing that shit for 10 minutes from different employees, I decided to go elsewhere. Not one single person in that store took the initiative to help me, yet they ALL told me SOMEONE ELSE would be right with me. Not one single person took ownership and was willing to take 30 seconds to allow me to place an order. This place has HORRIBLE customer service. And I agree with some of the other reviews regarding its cleanliness. I had to wipe down a table for a seat, the floors were a mess, not one single person was wearing a hairnet (women or men)--this by itself is gross, I wonder how many people have found hair in their food??? Went to Wendy's for breakfast this morning at 8:30. You would figure it would be clean! Wrong! Lobbies no one vacuumed, windows and doors dirty, no napkins ordered the used paper towels from the bathrooms and dirty bathrooms! Worst food ever ! Employees were not friendly, girl at counter was flipping off a employee in the back, while I sat in the drive thru. Order fries and a chili then received the order and they forgot my chili. January 25, 2020 Terrible fast food. Came to this Wendy's (in Prescott Valley) for lunch with some family members today. It wasn't my idea to come here. I've been to other Wendy's in the past but it's been many years. Wendy's has never been my favorite fast food place and this particular Wendy's today reminded me why I don't like Wendy's anymore. It was horrible. I can't believe they are still in business serving such poor quality food. Once upon a time (1980's) Wendy's had good marketing (where's the beef) and much better quality fast food. It's obvious they've stopped caring. Newer restaurant chains (such as Chick-fil-A, Carvers, Raising Cane's, Farmer Boys etc.,) have raised the bar on the quality of fast food. Wendy's is far below the bar these days. Far below. Why bother coming here with such better quality food options available! The $5 grilled chicken sandwich I had today was a joke and barely edible. Nowhere near worth $5. Plus, they got my order wrong. I specifically requested NO sauce of any kind on the chicken sandwich... and guess what? it had sauce on it. Of course it did (as I predicted they'd screw up my order). Someone didn't follow my very clear and simple request. This place really is fine. Better than fine every time I've visited fir some quick lunch. Always use the Wendy's to get great deal and the cashiers are always quick about getting my order, or sometimes even ask how my day's going. They've always been nice the last 2 years I've gone. The food always comes out within 5 minutes no matter what or how much I order. Place is kept nice n' clean. I tend to visit the bathroom first, whenever I eat out to make sure the food I'm about to order won't kill my intestines. This Wendy's keeps the whole place really clean and friendly. Well I'm not sure what to say about this... Having spent a lot of time in Management, I have realized that there is nothing worse than coming across a person who is considered such an authority and who obviously takes so much (too much) pleasure in their position that they are going to make you pay for inconveniencing them. This was the case with this General Manager. After 4 polite and patiently waiting attempts "of excuse me, may I please get my..." at the order counter, failing to get the attention of cashier who didn't initially complete out my order....I became frustrated and raised my voice enough to be heard. This particular cashier who couldn't look my way or bother to say "I'll be right with you." She just stood there with her hand on her chest. Doing nothing. Just standing. Like a deer in the head lights. I finally gave up and just went to go sit down at the counter top with the kids. Without my drinks. 5 minutes later...Lone and behold I finally got the kids milk that I ordered but it was chocolate.? I never ordered chocolate... We tried to continue to eat as I was running out of time with my two toddlers. After another few minutes the white milk did show up. Let me tell you what happened next... This angry woman shows up in the regular uniform, so I mis-took her for a regular crew member, not a manager. She stomped over so fast I to where I was sitting she was practically running. She proceeded to shout over me to tell me to calm down as she was the General Manager and after all I was just embarrassing myself in a busy restaurant in front of my kids. She said all this to me, as she got in my face, while she smiled at me and the kids. At this point... everyone on this side of the Restaurant was staring at the scene unfolding in front of them. I remember glancing at my kids to the left of me to ensure they were not in any danger of falling off the chairs and that they were far enough away from her in case this Manager hauled off and hit me. Marissa slapped the milks down so hard on to the counter top where I was sitting with so much force, that had they been opened milks they would have splashed all over myself and the kids. Who knows, maybe that was her intent? She just kept repeating that I needed to calm down and that I was just embarrassing myself and how dare I do that to her employee's as she was just 16 years old and how would I like it if she did that to one of my toddlers who are 2 and 3? From what I can gather, this cashier and this General Manager, Marissa need further training or a completely different industry to work in...? This whole event could have been prevented, if the cashier had asked me what type of milk I wanted and if the person pulling my order would have just done their job in completing my order. Prior to this before all this pleasant-ness happened...I went to the soda machine to fill up my cup with ice. I did this one handed and noticed that the Ice Machine was jammed. The push handle feel off the machine and I reassembled it, getting up close, with a kid on my hip I got a really good look at the Ice Machine handle and out pouring spout and noticed all the black mold? I guess it's off to the health Dept next. As usual I was the one who was the problem and of course no one bothered to apologize for the bad experience. I really enjoy the variety Wendy's has to offer, but better yet I like the service here. I've rarely had to wait long for food, and when I have had to wait, they were very accommodating and I've even had them offer me a free frosty for my wait. Very cool. The food has been reliable for every visit; their Baconator is pretty fantastic. I have coworkers who have attempted to steal it when I bring one to work. When we arrived there was a couple at the counter, ordering. 15 minutes later, this same couple was still at the counter, ORDERING! Employees are NOT properly trained, and the dress code? what dress code! The employee we saw looked like a homeless man straight off the street. I ordered the Large taco salad. GUESS WHAT... it was the SAME SIZE AS THE MEDIUM I ORDERED LAST WEEK. Was told by the manager that THIS was the large. Should have returned it and ordered the medium. When I got home I immediately went online to leave a complaint with corporate Wendy's but couldn't because I didn't save my receipt with the store number listed. In order to file a complaint you have to type in the store number to proceed. Will I go back to Wendy's, Prescott Valley? Absolutely! If I could leave no stars I would have. The service at this place is just rude and awful. We tried this place a few months ago and when we went to go into the dining room they had closed the doors early, a hour early than the door had said. When we got someone to the door they said drive through only, we pionted at the door with the hours and they said that the time did not matter. They were only serving drive through. What we saw was that they were cleaning the dining area and did not want anyone in there. So tonight we we're going to give them another try, different people working so we figured different attitude. Nope we were wrong big time. The door said 10 O'Clock that they close, it is 9 o'clock we had plenty of time to order and eat. We had a small child that makes it a little harder to eat in the car and we live 30 mins away so food would have been cold. First thing out of that snotty teens mouth was as she rolls her eyes we close at 10 and acted like we were bothering her for us to come in and order food. So we left as my wife told her we would be calling the manger in the morning. But I don't think that would help because it seems to be the whole night crew that acts in this way. So we are calling corporate on them. This is what makes me so mad that they make 10.50 a hour. Service has gotten way worse in places like this. I love wendy's for the variety that they have but also the fact that their food is cook correctly. I feel they really listen to the customers and really strive to be the best in Prescott Valley. I always see the place so clean and managers coming out asking if everything is okay with the food and if I would like anything else and it was just nice to see that this restaurant is outstanding.
