I ordered an unsweetened iced tea despite most restaurants wanting you to purchase alcohol. My server was Tricia. She was great. I got the new appetizer, Corn Fritters with a spicy ranch dip. Definite comfort food. They were running a smokehouse special of 1/2 rack ribs + a 2nd meat for only $22. It includes two sides. I got the corn on the cob and a side salad. A large piece of Texas toast is included. 1/2 rack was 5 ribs and my 2nd meat was bbq chicken. There were several sauces available for the meats. I was able to get oil & vinegar which is rare for a dressing. The corn sat in a small saucer with melted butter. Nice touch. The wooden skewer made it easy to salt & pepper it, then pour the butter over all. So despite this feast, I opted for the Chocolate Cream Pie. A tall rich pie on an Oreo cookie crust. Yummy. They offer a 2% discount to avoid a card fee if you paid cash, like I did. So a great meal + tip for only $48.
