Wendy's isn't a place on my list but they were featuring their new breakfast sandwiches for $1 each (as of this review 7/15/2025)! So on an early morning we figured to try the chicken, egg & cheese honey biscuits. The chicken honey biscuit was a breaded breast piece and pretty good. The egg & cheese was ok too. The biscuits aren't made inhouse. We didn't like the potatoes as they weren't like hash browns but spiced potato wedges. Any other time of day I'd like those but they are too heavy for breakfast. Once the special is off the breakfast biscuits are around $6 each. read more

Recently stopped by to grab some bite at this spot since I was in the area. I went through the drive-thru for mobile order and was greeted and treated well. They didn't get me waiting at all and for me it was quite important as I was running late. I ordered chicken burger and French fries for myself and it was really delicious. Meal was cooked properly and it smelled so nice. I downed it right away and drove back home fast. I must say this place is about great customer service and friendly staff that really know their stuff and are always kind and helpful with you. It means a lot to me and it was really nice experience. I'm sure staff is a bit tired at the end of the day but they should do their job in an appropriate way. And it's all about these guys. I'm pretty sure it's not my last visit. read more

I stopped in, I needed to use the washroom while waiting for another business to open. I wanted to get a little something because I felt weird just using the washroom. So I go to the front counter. No, this was the beginning of lunch and I get that, but I was the only person in the restaurant and there were only four cars in the drive-through. Anybody who has worked in fast food understands that is not a lot. There were approximately 7 to 8 people working there. so I'm standing there, this woman near the fry station turns, and looks at me, does not acknowledge me does not tell me that she'll be with me in one moment, she just turns back to putting something in the fryer. After she did that, still no greeting. Then another person came over and looked at me and then turned and put more stuff in a fryer while two people stood doing nothing in the drive-through, because they were still waiting for food. After a couple minutes, I gave up and left. I understand it's hard to find people to do these types of jobs nowadays, but there is no excuse for how I was treated. I am not, I am not trashy, my hair and makeup were done and I smiled at them in the beginning. if you want to be paid a living wage, at least do the job correctly. read more

Hi, my name is Sarah and I'm the completely ashamed duchess of this Wendy's. It's on the way home from work so I go far more often than I'd like to acknowledge. Honestly, this location is not the great and the only reason I continue going is because of the super convenient location. They forget things from my order 50% of the time and I always have to correct my order on the screen, facepalm. Most recently, they left 2 items out of my order that I paid for. And that was after I had to go over my order a few times with them. I only ordered 5 items total and without any special requests so I don't see what the issue here was. A big plus for me is the frosty keychain. I think it only costs $1 and then whenever you order anything on the menu, you get this cute tiny little frosty which is the perfect size for a cold dessert after dinner! An order of chicken nuggets & the mini frosty make for a great deal for $1~! They have some new items on the menu like mac & cheese for $2.50. Not a bad deal and decently good but I don't think I would get it again as the value menu items are a better deal. With so many better food choices in the area, I wouldn't recommend going here unless you're main objectives are speed, convenience and price. Always check your order before pulling away! read more

If I could give zero I would. I went thru my local wendys only 3 minutes away. Only person in the drive thru. I normally ask for my food fresh cause they leave it there forever n still serve it. Absolutely foul btw. So when I got my family nugget, I expected it to be fresh cause it's 50 nuggets. We went through the drive-thru for a mobile order and when we got to the window they very politely told us that we'd have to wait 6 minutes for the chicken to be done or pick another sandwich. Stopped in the other night for a quick bite before a movie, they had the dining room temperature so low, you could be eating outside in the cold weather and not know the difference. I sat with my jacked zipped up. It bothers me terribly when it's cold season and the dining area is kept cold. Who eats in the cold? Animals do, not human beings. My hands were cold, the burgers were cold (cheese not melted), even the fries were cold. We heard an employee joking with the manager that their hands were cold! Mind you they were standing near the counter. The dining room needed some attention, food and used napkins strewn about. Q: what does it mean when a garbage cabinet is turned around so it cannot be used? A: There were fruit flies whizzing around, so, the garbage bin must be thoroughly dirty or still have garbage in it. Maybe it's broken? Another woe was a debacle involving their nasty tasting sweet tea. They ran out of Dr Pepper which is a fountain favorite of mine at Wendy's. Well, the cashier said they had everything but Dr P. I opted for sweet tea. On the menu it's not listed and I assumed it was the same price as fountain. The cashier didn't offer any info about it and charged me an additional seventy-five cents for having it with my meal. Sweet ice tea, blah! Artificially sweetened and too damn sweet. What happened to cashiers that offer you information before charging you? I hated the tea and I hated having to pay an additional charge without my knowledge. I only realized after seeing the receipt. Looking at the cashier, I knew I wasn't going to get a refund. When I told her I thought the tea was gross, she looked at me oddly. For whatever reason the restaurant felt it was safe and practical for an employee to work on a short ladder in the drive thru. It was up to the drivers to drive around him. It wasn't safe or right for this type of work to be done without closing the drive thru lane. read more

I didn't plan on going to Wendy's last night. I was going to go to Wickett's across the way but their kitchen closes 2 hrs before regular closing time. My order was taken by DJ, nice kid and promptly served in about 7 minutes later. We had 2 combo meals and a 4 piece nugget for our daughter after shopping at Woodfield. Near the end of our meal we find a deep fried beetle in our fries. Gross! See picture of said beetle. We called over a manager Rajishi that wanted to give us a gift certificate to come back. Come back and eat beetles? I think not. Rajishi refunded our entire meal even though I didn't finish my sandwich and scooped the remaining nuggets out from in front of my daughter since they were probably fried in the same fryer. The entire beetle incident has turned me off to this particular Wendy's. I should have sucked it up and paid for dinner at Seasons 52 next door instead of dining on bug fries. I felt like Rajishi didn't know how to handle the situation and I had to walk him through the scenario of our food was 85% fried with the exception of buns and frosties. We had the spicy chicken combos, fried spicy chicken. My family and I moved here from Arizona! Have been staying at the Hyatt for the last 7 months until we found our home! This location that's on Higgins has been the worst Wendy''s we have gotten our food from! We can go to other ones, but why should We! Not only did Israel inform me of a promotion, he put my frosty in the fridge while I used the restroom. A small gesture but very thoughtful I wanted to make sure he was commended. This place is just OK. Their chili is actually very good, but other items, meh. Burgers are dry and fries have too much salt. I've both eaten in and gotten drive through. Eat-in is fair. I suggest the drive through, your car is probably more comfortable. I've never had outright bad service, but they DO forget items often. Condiment requests quite often are not placed in the bag as requested. And once, an actual menu item paid for, was not placed in the bag at the drive through. On two different occasions, my friend had to go back to get the fries they forgot during eat-in for some reason. At one time, almost daily when I used them for lunch, they kept claiming they were out of an item that was featured on the menu. Either remove the item off the menu or get it in!! Very slow drive thru - they have two lanes that feed into one and people will cut you off. On top of that, my order looked like it was thrown together with leftover chicken since it was not the same size piece as it normally is. Fries were cold and no receipt given. You'd think they would have their act together during busy times, but this location isn't on par. It's also hard to get out of the parking lot, you have to drive around to be able to turn left and the way it's set-up is confusing. read more

I've never eaten inside this restaurant, only used the drive-thru. Good to know that this drive thru is only wide enough for one car, so if you are in line there is no changing your mind. If you do, you will have to wait for all the cars in front of you to go through before you can get out of the line. The food is what you expect of a Wendy's...cheap and delicious. Whenever I order a baked potato and request extra condiments... man do they leave it out. ALL THE TIME! And also, what's with leaving out simple things like... salad dressing or croutons or napkins? The customer service at this place is horrible. I told the guy that my order was for here and he put it in a bag anyway. I asked for fries that were hot because the ones they gave me were cold.
