I asked for mayo on the side, and they do not have it. Then, pretended not to understand me. I broke out some Spanish. I said, "Well, it is on the menu, and you have little ketchup cups." First off the hours on Yelp are wrong. Secondly, don't expect good food. The service is quick and easy. However, I was wanting to try the new Loaded Nacho Cheeseburger and was expecting the melted cheesy goodness advertised everywhere. Instead I got a medium hot burger with cold cheese slices slapped on top, fries so over cooked and crunchy they could crack a tooth, and soda so watered down I couldn't even taste it. Employees are nice BUT before ordering I asked if they had the croissant breakfast sandwich. (I had it once at another location and it was tasty and hot)! To make sure there was no confusion I said the number of the item on the menu screen! I was told yes they had it! Great! When I received my order I walked away to sit at a table. This is when I realized I did not receive what I ordered and the food was not hot! I then had to return to Wendy's with luggage in tow! I told the same employee I saw when I ordered the situation. She said no croissants and added sorry. I replied I had just asked her when I ordered! Wow! Now I have a barely warm sandwich I didn't even want. I know Wendy's is lower cost but wrong food that is not hot upon arrival is not enjoyable! I was hungry and now had food so I tried it! Ugh! I had added tip when I paid! Ugh! Everytime I have gone here the women employees at the drive thru window always have attitude, I say hi and thank you and they just stare and say nothing back, on top of that the food is always like it's been sitting out all day, cold and stale, burger buns were stale and hard, the fries were stale and cold, and the lemonade I ordered wasn't even sweet it was very watered down. I'm so happy there is a Wendy's in SFO now. They're my "go to" fast food restaurant. SFO airport has had a Burger King for a little while now but their prices are high. This Wendy's has very fair prices for an airport restaurant. 3 or 4 good entree salads to choose from including my favorite Power Mediterranean. Only thing I don't like on it is the red onion & I wish it had cucumbers on it. 40g of protein and probably a good amount of fiber too. They also have the small side salads you can have with a baked potato or cup of chili for a healthy & filling meal. One more Wendy's place I visited last week. You can find them on the 3rd floor of San Francisco International Airport. I think I don't need to describe parking opportunities and drive-trough options:) Wendy's is a part of the big food court on the floor. So you can sit wherever you want but I prefer soft banks in the area around. More of this, you can sit near the charging spot and charge your phone while you are eating. You have to understand that it is a very noisy and busy place. It is not a place for the comfortable chill, but for regenerating your energy. I was surprised, but the service was ok. No smiles, no friendly conversation but very fast and professional. I was a little disappointed with the food. The salad was nice because they make it in advance. But the burger was not so good. It tastes like freshly reheated food in a microwave. One more thing, there is not soda mixer and you can't refill your soda for free. So I would say this is a nice place if you drank too many cups of coffee and want to eat, but don't wanna spend too much money in the high-class restaurants or airport lounges. read more

I ordered a combo and switched the fries out for chili with cheese for an extra $2.90 plus tax. The cook said the chili was not ready yet and asked if fries were okay. I said fine, and went to the cashier for a refund. The manager was kind enough to refund cash but forgot to refund the tax part for the cheese. That's okay since it was so petty. Then I asked the cook for my fries and he said I can't because I got my refund. The combo came with fries for free. The manager saw the standoff and just gave me a small fries. The drink was not filled to the top. The overall experience was not ideal. I felt like I had to beg for food that i paid for because of their mismanagement. It's good. It's really good -- surprisingly good. I ordered the numero 1 because I am #1, as are you. And while many moons have passed after visiting this establishment, what stuck with me was how surprisingly good the burger was. Spice is the variety of life. Seem arrogant, and not treasure their customers. Lately, the new staff seems to be surprisingly very friendly. They seem to even get their food out a little faster now.
