My husband and I got fried pickles, burgers and fries. For the price (which I think they ranged from 3-6 dollars depending on the burger), they were a great size. The portion of fries and the fried pickle appetizer we received was enough to take home. My daughter got a macaroni and cheese kids meal which came with one side, which was also a large portion. She ate every bite! The restaurant has several homemade desserts to choose from and we ended up taking home a slice of butterscotch pie. It was too sweet for me but the flavor was good. Outside of burgers they offer "home cooked" food, they had specials like meatloaf, country fried steak, catfish, etc. They are also open for breakfast, I looked at the breakfast menu and they had decent deals on a variety of items. Our server was very kind and didn't mess up our order (my husband can be picky and it's easy to mess his order up), so that's a plus. Definitely come here if you're looking for a filling meal at fair prices (most of the combos come with a drink, too which is awesome!)My only complaint is that the back room was pretty chilly, maybe they didn't have the heat on because it was warmer earlier? But I will definitely come back to try more of their menu!

I am an early riser so I tend to try to get out to eat just as places open. Thus, my pictures usually show empty seats. Do not let this deter you from trying this place. The decor is nostalgic and tasteful. It is spacious yet cozy. You seat yourself so I chose a booth along the front wall. My waitress was prompt and steady checking on my coffee level. The menu had plenty of options from omelets and wraps to breakfast sandwiches and full plate orders including biscuits and gravy. Sorry I forgot to take a menu picture. When my plate arrived, I wasn't sure I could eat it all. As I began to eat my senses were overwhelmed by all the flavors. It's definitely a great spot to get filled and enjoy good food. They also serve lunch. So a trip back later in the day is warranted.

The easiest way to find it is look for a building that looks like an auto body shop. Parking is on gravel adjacent to the building. The spaces are not marked. There is a handicapped sign to the left of the door. There are a few spaces across the street and more on the side of the building. There is a concrete sidewalk in front of the building. The gravel lot is even with the sidewalk on the right side but there is a small step up on the left. The entrance door is in the middle of the building. Walking in, there is a counter to the left where you pay. Bathrooms are straight ahead in the rear. Seating is a mix of booths and various sized tables. Seating is plentiful but well-spaced so maneuvering around is no problem. There was a sign to seat yourself so we picked a booth along the front of the building near the row of windows. Decor is auto related as would be expected. Lighting is bright without being overpowering. Our server arrived in less than a minute to bring the menus and take our drink order. She returned with the drinks in a couple minutes and took our lunch order. The drinks were in very large, maybe 32oz cups. Our server did come by near the end of the meal to ask if we wanted a refill but we still had just under half the drink left. The food took about 10 minutes to arrive. The bacon cheeseburger was very good. The burger was hot and juicy and served on a fresh and soft bun as large as the patty. The lettuce, tomato and onion were fresh, cold, and crisp. The onion rings were also very good. The batter was crisp and the onion slightly soft, an excellent combination. The Western burger was another winner. The sautéed mushrooms were not mushy and had a nice sauce accompanying them. The sauteed onion and white cheese added additional depth. The meat was juicy and flavorful and the bun soft and fresh. The french fries were thin and crispy but had a nice softness inside. This was an excellent lunch, and each burger was a wonderful flavor sensation. The french fries and onion rings were an excellent accompaniment and deserve mention on their own. Bond-o to Burger also does breakfast and I look forward to trying that soon as well.

The ladies working inside were extremely friendly and helpful, which was a great start. Their menu is incredibly unique and fun, featuring a wide variety of amazing burgers. As a fan of spicy food, I was pleased to see several options that catered to my taste. My server took the time to explain how they roast hot peppers to create their own unique blend, which I found very impressive. I decided to go with the Cold, Cold Heart burger, primarily because it included jalapeños. Although tempted by the Fire God Burger, the combination of scorpion and ghost peppers seemed a bit too intense for me. My burger was prepared quickly while I watched from the counter, which was a nice touch. The fries that accompanied it were excellent--slightly thicker than regular fries with a delightful seasoning. They were served piping hot and crispy. The highlight was definitely the burger itself. It was outstanding! The jalapeños added a lovely flavor without being overly spicy, and the bun was exceptional--soft yet sturdy enough to hold everything together without falling apart. The meat was substantial and perfectly cooked. For condiments, they offer squeeze bottles from the fridge upon request. I opted for mayo on my burger and experimented with ketchup and mustard separately to see which I preferred. Honestly, the burger was delicious with or without the additional condiments. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and would highly recommend stopping in. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town!

But I wiggled my vehicle into a tight spot and went in for a burger and a beer. I believe there were about 10 to 12 options available on tap, and I went with what was listed as an Irish stout from somewhere in the Northeast. It wasn't bad, though it seemed more like an imperial stout. My sandwich choice was the Cowboy, with ground elk at its core. It was a good choice too, and the accompanying fried onions and melted cheese complemented the meat well. I ordered the burger medium, but I think I'd go for medium rare if I could go back in time. The medium option wasn't bad, but I think a little less heat and a little more moisture would only make things better. I kept things simple with the side item, going for the fries which were of the thinly sliced McDonald's variety, not bad but nothing remarkable. The server covering my table was pleasant and prompt, though soft spoken so I occasionally had to ask her to repeat herself amidst the music and noise. I wouldn't call any of these selections a bargain, but the prices didn't veer too far from what you'll find in many burger joints. All in all, not an earthshaking experience, but a place I'd be willing to go back to. 3.5 stars.

We started with the pickled board, and it was just fun. A little bit of everything: pickled veggies, cucumbers with those pretty curls of onion, pimento cheese, bread, pork rinds, a little tomato jam. It felt like a Southern snack platter put together by someone who actually cares about balance and flavor. I ordered the pickled salad with chicken, and it was right up my alley. Fresh greens, great textures, pops of color, and the chicken was nicely seasoned and grilled. The dressing had that bright, tart thing going on that makes you want more of it. I would absolutely get this again. My husband got the Cassie salad, and while he said it was "fine," even he admitted everything was fresh and well done. The vibe here is relaxed, cozy, a little rustic, the kind of place that feels local in the best way. For a casual lunch in Boone, it hits the spot. I'd go back in a heartbeat.
