This Wendy's is popping here! It's a much newer establishment and the drive thru is packed, the inside is over capacity too with lines out the door. This place is so beautiful too I might add. Food takes a while to prep as well. Features a freestyle drink machine that thankfully hasn't run out of flavors yet. Sorry Wendy's, but you're going to have to try a little harder. This location opened just a few weeks ago, very close to where I work. I've been there four times, and I went to the drive-up each time. Every experience was worse than the previous. Each time I've pulled up to the drive-through speaker, no matter how busy or not busy they are, I've been asked to wait ("I'll be right with you...."). Sometimes this will go on for three minutes, waiting there with my engine running. Why?!?!? I don't understand. Did I surprise you (all four times) when I pulled up to the speaker?!?!? Isn't that what the drive-through is for? And then, the customer service: There's nothing more humiliating than someone handing you your bag of food through the drive-through window, with no greeting, no smile - no nothing, except a bag hand-off. Today, I even said "Thanks" in a cheerful manner after receiving my food hand-off from the emotionless person behind the window, only to have her slam the window shut with no acknowledgment whatsoever. Am I doing something wrong?!?!? Is there a ripple in the space-time continuum at the precise latitude/longitude of this new Wendy's?!? Get it together, people. It's drive-through, not theoretical physics. If you don't want people to come to this location, just shut off the lights and send everyone home. read more

Would be nice if, on a Saturday evening at 7:00 pm, the dining room is closed due to a manpower shortage they would post a sign stating so. As I tried to open the dining room door on each side of the building none of the employees thought to come to the door and apologize and state the dining room was closed. So then I waited 20 minutes in the drive thru. Just to be told once I finally reached the speaker to place an order they are only accepting cash. A simple hand scribbled sign on each entrance door would've saved me so much time, but nah, to hell with the customers, we're too busy for that! read more

How about acknowledging customers patiently standing in line. We went tonight and were totally ignored. When my husband politely asked if the staff were waiting on inside customers he was told that they had a big order to finish up. He noticed that there were about 5 workers in the store. After he was given this answer the girl turned around again and continued to ignore everyone. This is not the first time we have encountered horrible customer service at this location. The young black girl who has worked the drive up window the last few times in the evening has been very surly also. I understand being very busy and needing to keep up as best you can, but should customer service be so poor? This is a relatively new location very near Grand Park which is a very busy area of Westfield. Not happy. We won't be back for strike three. Do better Wendys. read more

This Wendy's can get very busy and sometimes makes little mistakes, but the people are generally very helpful and polite. My cheeseburger was incorrectly made and on top of that, had a long a$$ hair in it. I wish I could take a picture but I gave it to the manager to show her and she said all she could do is remake it or refund the $3 cheeseburger. I asked for a full refund since my appetite was ruined at this point and she fought with me on that for a solid 5 minutes. The team members tried to be helpful but she was more concerned about the situation than trying to be nice in anyway. I feel bad for the people that have to work here as she was rude to them as well for trying to back me up. I asked for her name which is Sandra, and I will be contacting corporate over this incident. This is the second time we've had an issue here. I don't even know why we tried to go again because the first time my boyfriend got sick over an undercooked chicken sandwich. I will honestly never be going to a wendy's again after this experience. Sandra needs to be booted back to kroger or something. read more

This morning was my first visit to this Wendy's (Chatham Hills). I tried ordering a breakfast combo - they were out of potatoes and waiting on the truck delivery. No problem - just the sandwich, pls (sausage egg muffin, no cheese). I bit into the sandwich and the muffin crumbled everywhere! It was so dry and stale. It wasn't even heated up or buttered (no attempt to 'dress it up'). And the napkins they put in my bag were those dark brown towels you see in cleaning supply rooms. This location is really awful. Our family has given it many chances because we really want it to succeed. Between the unfriendly customer service and always, I mean every single time, getting our order incorrect, we might just give up. Today ordered a sour cream and chive potato and got a plain potato with no chives, no butter and no sour cream. I also ordered a spicy chicken sandwich minus the mayo. I got a plain chicken sandwich. I know now to pull into a parking spot and check my order so I caught it before I got home. I went inside to get the correct sandwich and the lady behind the counter didn't say a word to me. No apology. Nothing. She went back and got a new sandwich, handed it to me and said, rather rudely, "here's your spicy chicken sandwich without mayo". Sticking to Chick Fil A. Every time I go to this location I alway have a great experience. Even this morning when I placed a mobile order to finally try the new breakfast menu. Once I got their I let them know I placed a mobile order. They had me pull up to the window and they informed me they had sold out about a hour prior. I was sad about that but was also glad that it's selling cause to me that sounds like it's good food. The manager then asked if I wanted anything to replace it so I ordered a few things and she gave them to me for free. That was really nice and appreciated. I will continue to go to this location cause it is super clean and the staff are alway friendly. read more
