I hate to leave bad reviews. I tried everything I could with this company to have them do the right thing. I ordered 10 pounds of assorted sausage from them back on June 28th through a marketing website and received a confirmation that they would notify me when they ship, and it was listed as "Express" for the shipping Flash forward to July 25th (just 3 days shy of a month later) while out of town for my daughter's wedding they decided to have the sausage delivered. The "feels like" on the day was discovered was 116, and the day before that, when it was delivered, was even hotter. My cat watcher noticed the package on a Saturday and when she brought it in and opened it the sausages were warm and slimy and placed the whole box outside in my garage. The order was delivered on Friday morning and sat outside all day in this heat, and part of Saturday. My garage stunk as the cat watcher did not want to smell up the house or fridge. We never received any tracking or any communication at all from anyone at We're the Wurst to notify us that there would be a HUGE delay in shipping, or that the item shipped. Had he have notified us that they were going to ship or shipped the package, we could have asked them to hold until we got back, or had a neighbor bring the box in. I emailed them and his reply was "it's not his fault what happens once the package arrives at my house," and his only mistake was not updating us with tracking. That is a HUGE mistake and the only reason this sausage wound up in the garbage. How can you ship out perishable goods a month after the fact and not notify anyone? I am battling this currently with my CC and the market place I ordered it from as he is currently ghosting me and not replying to any emails. read more

While not related to the food truck, we are very disappointed in their service and lack of communication. We placed an order via a coupon add. We received very little of what was offered and items were replaced with other things that were not even listed in the add. Called and left messages as they don't answer the phone during the week?! No response and it's been over a week. Will try and call again. But not happy at all with this business. read more

What happens when your wanting to find the best lunch possible and end up with the WURST!!!!! You end up with a great lunch experience. The food truck chef with quick to point out they make their own sausages locally and they are as fresh as can be. It was served on a really soft inviting bun with the right amount of seasonings. Nice biting into a sausage and have the right crunch to it. To top it their french fries were also amazing...love it when you get larger pieces with the skin still on showing they are using the whole potato and not frozen store bought. Oh what a place for an excellent meal..... I settled for an afternoon snack, early dinner. Handmade bratwurst on a toasted bun. Oh, the toasty edges on the warm soft bun!!!! A wonderful contrast in mouth feel..... add some brown German mustard and homemade sauerkraut...... And then there are the fries.... best fries I've had in ages!!!!!! The Wurst uses the larger square cut fries. BUT, they can make them crispy..... smooth and creamy center with a crunchy crispy outer edge. WOW!!!!!! Exactly what I look for in a fry.... garnished with mayo, just like in Germany. A great place. The sausage is far beyond what you can buy in the store. No annoying little crunchy bits that make you wonder what's in your sausage. Just amazing pork. And less fat than you'd expect. The sausages are juicy, without having hot grease run down your chin...... now, I don't have anything g against hot grease, but when you're out in public, a little discretion is called for. What this really points to is a QUALITY sausage, that will amaze even the most finicky eater. read more

Let me start by saying the Belgian frites are exceptional. Very impressed and would go there just for them. The standard bratwurst was almost inedible. It was so salty that i could not finish it. I am not very picky and expect sausage to be on the salty end of the spectrum but this was beyond acceptable. They seem passionate about their food but passion alone does not make for a great dining experience. read more

Decided to give this food truck a try and it was amazing!!! I got the arugula salad with pancetta and it was definitely one of the best salads I have ever had. Simple yet delicious!!! Stopped in near closing last night for a quick dinner. I've seen the Mushroom & Mascarpone Crepes going out to other tables in the past and finally ordered them. I was very impressed, the mushrooms were perfectly cooked. Since I learned that they were making liege waffles It's been on my must-try list. I've been on a continual hunt for a near authentic liege waffle with the pearl sugar. When I asked about them last night Fiddler said that the iron was off because interest is very low. After some talking, he turned it back on to make two up. They were amazing! I hope that the interest in them picks up so he doesn't have to take them off the menu. The food here is great, and worth a stop by the cart down at Spokenmoto or anywhere you see them in Bend. read more

Love the food here. The charcuterie board is awesome, and great to share, and eat solo if you are real hungry. I'm a huge fan of the brats, and the crepes with marscapone cheese, bacon and grilled dates, is stupid good. You guys really are the worst! So rude when we were at the bite of bend this past weekend we ordered something off your terribly designed menu that says "no Vegetarian" in two different sections of the menu and then the guy cooking yells out the window at my wife "hey lady hey lady are you a vegetarian or something it says right there no vegetarians" even though your terrible cold hard potatoes only had one tiny piece of hard pork substance in it. Superior in every way! The food truck "We're the Wurst" at River's Place on Purcell is clean and Fidler's food is incredible. I recommend the chef's choice crepes... Fidler never fails to surprise our taste buds. The food is fresh and well presented, with amazing flavors. We have also bought some brats, wollwurst and kielbasa from Fidler as well, superior for cooking at home. We love coming here for lunch or dinner, dining in the beverage spot of River's Place and chatting with the staff. Superior place we highly recommend. read more

We loved this place! The food truck was parked outside of Monkless Belgian Ales brewery when we went there for a tasting flight. The owner of Monkless urged us to try the brats at We're the Wurst and we are so glad we did. The beers and brats were a perfect pairing. Passing through Bend after a bike race and we took a chance. After recently visiting Belgium and seeing frites on the menu we couldn't say no. Good food, good people, and no ketchup. I came to We're the Wurst last night with friends. Three of us had brats and one had the arugula salad. I travel in Germany a lot and I have to say that this was the best brat I've eaten anywhere! They make them fresh and the seasoning was spot on. Their home made sauerkraut had perfect balance. The pommes with shallot aioli were fantastic! Wurst was alright. Pretty small for $9. But what got me were these frittes they serve, insisting that they don't need ketchup because they're served authentic from Germany or something like that. I can respect that but at least offer up a sauce that tastes more then just oil and salt! So they did have a couple more alternatives. A lavender mayonnaise! (Not great with frittes) or a greasy bottle of malt vinegar. I chose the latter. Kid said I could keep the bottle. Thanks kid. C'mon guys. Ya'll can do better without feeling like yer selling out. read more
