It is very easy to understand why the Sisters Meat and Smokehouse has garnered a 5-star rating. It is that good. It was the first time we have tried it and the Reubens were incredible. The pastrami was house-smoked, and it was so tender. For $15, we received your choice of chips and a cookie as well. Very good deal. Susan, who took our order, was very patient with us and explained the menu and seating next door in the mercantile that was purchased in July of 2025. Saw the great reviews and decided to check it out. We ended up deciding to have lunch here, getting a bunch of sandwiches. I got the reuben, which was excellent. Others enjoyed the turkey sandwich, french dip (really good), tri-tip (ok), and beef & cheddar (good). Interior was fine and we snagged a table outside in the shade. Staff weren't the friendliest and didn't seem like they wanted to be there. But I'd come back again for a reuben. read more

We traveled over the mountain to spend the day in Central Oregon, Smith Rock, the Badlands, and beyond. Headed home we wanted a steak. Stopped in Sisters for some cuts. Hopping place here! We were nearly immediately treated like royalty. Genuinely surprised by the kindness here. I walked out with seasonings, bone in Kansas City cuts, and house smoked peppercorn havarti. Say it with me HOUSE-MADE SMOKED PASTRAMI. Yowzers! The sandwich I had was in the top three of the BEST EVER. It's a steep $18 but worth every penny (oh, sorry, they don't make those any more). The REUBEN SANDWICH on toasted marble rye had Swiss cheese, the perfect mound of sauerkraut and thousand island dressing (ask them to go light on the slather) along with a bag of chips and a cookie. Top it off with the beverage of your choice -beer, wine, canned soda, etc.- and you have the perfect lunch or afternoon snack. On our way out we bought a couple pounds of the Smokehouse Jerky (Original, Pepper, & Teriyaki) and two pounds of the Smokehouse bacon. Made the car on our trip home smell great!!!! Seating inside is nice and you can people watch. I like to eavesdrop on the questions they ask the people behind the counter. You learn something new every time - LOL. Tables outside too but it was a tad too hot the day we visited to sit outside, even in the shade. Small, family-run establishment owned by Oregon natives. The artisan meat cutter and smokehouse expert are both third generation in the industry. Such a cute little town too, all cowboy-like and worth an afternoon of moseying the main street to see the shops. I'm brand new to Sisters area. This is the place to go for all your meat requirements. Great place to buy your meat as it's grass fed. Customer service is outstanding. Prices are reasonable but the quality of their goods can not be met by local competitors like Oliver Lemons and Rays. They also do wine tasting on last Wednesday of the month! Wowzers! Great lil shop with plenty of meats to choose from. There is a butcher section, a fridge with seasoned meats, cold cuts and cheese's olives. There is also a freezer with frozen meats. Small menu with sandwiches, a few beers on tap. They do growlers fills (as long as you bring in your own growler) plenty of wines , sauces, spices, mustards & marinades. I had to hold myself back from buying all the things because our car was already packed to the brim. Turkey sandwich was top tier. Definitely worth a stop when in town. Ever since I saw a picture of their bologna sandwich, I wanted to try it. Today was the day I ordered it and devoured it and give it a 10 out of 10 highly recommend. Theres places to eat outside and then like a little area inside, but not much we brought it back to five Pines Lodge and ate it in our room. My daughter had a make your own peanut butter sandwich. They gave her the bread and two packets of peanut butter and two packets of jelly and a plastic knife to spread as mush as she wants on it. At 13 she thought they were being lazy, but if my 9 year old got it she would have loved to make it herself like she does at home. For kicks we got in the car and went to Sisters for lunch. The Sisters Meat and Smokehouse looked like fun so we stopped in. The atmosphere is interesting. Part meat market, part jellies, spices and souvenirs part sandwich shop. Not a ton of seating inside but we also didn't have trouble finding a place to sit.. there is also some seating outside, weather cooperating. I had the turkey sandwich sans tomatoes (maybe when they are in season) and the lady had a Reuben. Both sandwiches were great portions and fabulous flavors. The sandwiches both included chips and a cookie. The cookie was notably good. Chips are chips. Beers, wines, sodas all available to have with lunch. The service was friendly, quick and efficient. Overall the food was good but not spectacular. I liked the menu options as there was definitely variety in it. The star of the mixed platter was tenderloin but it felt like something was missing to make it a great dish to order. We can only add our applause to the many five star reviews. This is a small, deli type of shop that makes outstanding food. We had a Reuben sandwich that was perfectly delicious. It was thick with their in house made pastrami - very lean and incredibly delicious. Probably the best Reuben that I've ever had. Seriously. I think that anything you order there will be great. Sisters Meat and Smokehouse was our go to meat market until they opened the Redmond store. This time we were there for sandwiches. It was a difficult decision; but, it picked Beef and Cheese Sandwich. For my wife it was a no-brainer, Old Fashioned Bologna Sandwich. I need to remember, no tomato for me and no onion for my wife. We found a table just outside the front door where we could watch the world go by. Unfortunately, the wind kept us busy keeping things from blowing away. The sandwiches came with chips and chocolate chip cookies. We added a couple of canned soft drinks. The sandwiches were large and very delicious. At $26 for the two of us, the price was not unreasonable. We will return and hope that the line is not too long. read more

Inside/outside: staff was quick and welcoming. 8 or so chairs at a bar inside the air conditioning, 3-4 tables and chairs under the eaves out front and 10 or so big picnic tables under sails in the side yard. It was a very clean place with about a 50:50 split between meat/cheese/menu and dry goods. We sit in and it was great. Food: meats were incredibly expensive and looked of EXCELLENT quality...you get what you pay for. Hubby had the biggest balogna sandwich I've ever seen 3 huge slices of meat, 3 slices of cheddar, slabs of tomato, lettuce, onions on thick slices of white bread. He had to stretch his mouth to get it in. It's a winner (if you like bolagna). I had the pastrami. Again huge sandwich, generous portions of meat and kraut, with nice thousand island. Tastes different than our homemade pastrami but was very delicious. Other stuff: lunch was on the spendy side, $30. You could easily spit a samy with another person.
