Everyone I've met at Riverview - and this go back pre-Covid - has been a delight to work with and very kind. I feel like I'm working with real animal lovers and professionals who care. Together, we've solved allergy issues, dental cleaning and extraction, UTIs, and for cases that were more serious, they have referred me to MedVet. They work very well with MedVet and share files and information freely, so that it really feels as if you have a team of professionals helping you look after your pet. It's a great group of people to have on your team and I'm grateful to have them!

All three of our pets have now had their first annual visits at this practice and we've been very impressed with the care and attention they've received. Dr. Turner in particular really impressed me with his gentle demeanor and the time he spent with our kitty yesterday. He seemed generally interested in understanding her personality and he's the first vet to suggest a potential solution for the chronically cracked dry nose she experiences says every winter. It's easy to schedule appointments, the staff are warm and welcoming and when you come in, you'll see your pet's name on the blackboard by the door, which is a really nice touch.

The techs are also sweet and very caring towards our dog. All staff has been nothing but friendly, helpful, and thorough when it comes to the health and well-being of our dog. It is easy to get an appointment here or at their other location and at Rover the Rhine, they also have weekend hours. The only downside we've run into (and hence 4 and not 5 stars) is that our dog has gotten older and to get her medication anywhere outside of their preferred (usually more pricey) pharmacy is impossible. You can get a written Rx but no online pet pharmacy will take it because it's not faxed from the office (note: you can mail it in but if the script isn't given weeks in advance you run the risk of your dog going without medication for some time). They also refuse to call in the Rx so it's slightly annoying. Thus, if you are one who likes price shopping for your pet's medications, taking your pet here for care is not an option if you choose to use their vet services. It's really unfortunate because we love going here but since we suspect our pet will need more meds as she gets older, we might have to reconsider our options.

My pomsky puppy has had several appointments so far to get all of his puppy vaccines, neutering and microchipping. The staff has always been very kind and responsive to any questions/concerns I had. Cost of services is consistent with industry standards and they take the appropriate safety precautions such as performing bloodwork to ensure your pet is safe to undergo anesthesia. That option isn't always provided at all clinics which is very concerning. I would recommend them to others and plan to have them continue to provide excellent care to my pup in the future!

The vet referred me to Angel's Paws. Everyone was extremely caring, they explained the process and, allowed me to schedule Dexter's appointment per my schedule. The technician who came to our house brought Dexter a cheeseburger. Welcomed Dexter's "sister-dog" Hanna to stay in the room so she could also say goodbye. They did not rush through the process at all and stepped away to give privacy for my family after Dexter crossed the rainbow bridge. I was also able to order customized urn for dexter, tattoo quality paw print and nose print . I will use this service again and would recommend Angel's Paws to anyone.

He would have been 15 in April…read more He took a really bad turn and since it was in the middle of the holiday season and our vet was closed, we were terrified that his suffering would be prolonged. We called Angel's Paws at 9 AM and Dr. Kate Smith arrived by 3. By 3:15, Bo suffered no more. Words cannot express how grateful we are for this incredible service. Besides being rude and they were downright aggressive. But they always have been. I have never found them to be sensitive to the needs of my pet and certainly not respectful of my time or my concerns about her welfare.
