I came in during my lunch break from work to put in an order and was told that my order would be ready by 5, no concerns on that timing. Show up at 5:10 and after the employees came to the front (all of them talking and not working) find out my arrangements are not ready. 25 minutes later the order is done (incorrectly) and I leave because I'm now late. Was told no they didn't do special requests I said I'd pay extra was told no this is what they do . recently I was gifted flowers from Wes Flower shop. I've heard nothing but good things about them and they have beautiful flowers. my bf got me flowers for my birthday. Two days later, they were dead, wilted over and just in such bad condition. (Photo one) Made no sense since normally even my grocery store bouquets last weeks and weeks. I called the flower shop, asked if there's any specific flower care the flowers should've came with and they said no. Just to add flower preservative. I didn't have any so I looked up a way to do some diy care in the mean time and they said we could take them in to exchange. Awesome!! We went in the next day since I was in the middle of my lunch break and didn't have time to run to their shop right away when I called. Well the lady at the front desk kept making disgusted faces at my boyfriend when he went to exchange them. She kept telling him they died because we didn't trim them or put them on water. except I did trim them and they sat in nice clean water when I had them. She could've seen that they were trimmed, these aren't my first flowers ever received. Well, she gave us our new bouquet, we left happy because I got my beautiful flowers again. Well it's been 3 days now since the new exchange and now some of the roses are growing mold. ): the rest of the bouquet looks great. But I'm very disappointed that it seems like their flower quality isn't that great as they used to be according to others reviews. I called in to complain about the moldy flowers and manager just kept saying it's because they weren't placed in water or trimmed? They shouldn't even be growing mold this quickly. This had to have mold growing before we received them the second time. I came to Wes' today to get an arrangement for a friend. I've been fortunate enough to receive deliveries from them over the years but have never been inside their shop. I like the location, west of the I-15 in a strip center easy to find and access. I was impressed with the quality of flowers and selection. I chose to pick out and create my own arrangement, though there were many prearranged. I'm a flower child-person and know my flowers. They didnt have mainly the typical cheap daisies - mums - carnations of mediocre florists, but lovely fragrant lilies, stock, lisanthus, sunflowers, etc., most in different colors. The prices were reasonable and comparable to other florists. I picked out several really nice stems, and a nice employee arranged them beautifully in a vase with filler (in 10 minutes) for $12.50 more. It was a medium sized, very pretty arrangement for $30.
