This store has a wonderful selection of high quality pet food and amazing customer service. I was greeted when I walked in and both of the staff offered to help me. Holistic pet food and raw frozen pet foods are supplied here. The only minor complaint is that not everything is labeled with prices. However, it does not really matter since the girl working behind the counter was so friendly, she happily looked up the price I inquired about and answered my questions. It was impressive that she was so knowledgeable and up to date about cat food. She told me that Blue Buffalo Wilderness cat food is the best cat food which I confirmed by research. The girl was so kind and informed me that they have free delivery in the area with any purchase over $25! I really did not expect such a pleasant experience at a pet supply store. Since my cat Trine has been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism which needs medication to help regulate. Wespaw Pet Pharmacy is the only place I can get it. Very helpful staff, I was having a problem with my dog because he was just eating home food so I went there with my mom. She does not speak English but JP speak Spanish so he made my mom understand that home food is not good for my dog. My dog was not eating anything but home food. So JP recommended us a good option (weruva/chicken) to give to my dog instead the home food. At the beginning we didn't think that he is gonnna eat it since we tried everything, but finally he is eating again. Is huge relief. I'll definitely go back to get more. read more

What a great pet store!! I have been coming to Wespaw for over a year or so for occasional dry food and treats for my Yorkie. The staff is always so nice and helpful and they always seem to go out of their way for you, especially when you're parked on a hydrant outside. Great customer service is something that isn't practiced as much in many stores anymore and it is definitely what makes them stand out. I honestly haven't even looked up the prices online for the stuff I buy from them because I rather just come here and pick it up, maybe find something cute and new that otherwise wouldn't online. Plus that whole human experience, is still so much better and enjoyable than the online thing we all do out of convenience. Now that I also see from other Yelpers that they also give back to the community, more reason to support them. I don't even live in neighborhood but work close by so coming here is only slightly out of the way but I don't mind. A business that definitely stands out among others. We love Wespaw! We always buy our dogs' food from here. Their prices are reasonable and they carry the best brands including Orijen, Taste of the Wild and Acana. About a month ago, my husband purchased a big bag of Orijen 6 Fish. My dogs both refused to eat it at first, and when they finally caved in, they couldn't keep it down.... We figured out that they really just couldn't stand the flavor. I called Wespaw and spoke to the manager, who called Champion Pet Foods and got them to agree to allow an exchange. I went back in and exchanged the bag for another flavor, and just paid the difference. They were so nice and accommodating about it. Today, I went in to inquire about allergy friendly foods for one of my dogs. They were very helpful and gave me a couple of sample bags to try, free of charge! I looked on Yelp for a pet store, and of course Petco pops up and also Wespaw Pets, which is actually a 2 minute drive from my house. I called the store telling them about my situation, and they told me to come on in! They gave me samples, because the food that was provided by the surrender mom, the dog wasnt eating. I love supporting local businesses and Wespaw is no exception. The staff there is always friendly when we walk in, greeting you and asking if help is needed. One of the employees, Rich, is very knowledgeable about the products and you can tell he really enjoys his job. I love learning from him and appreciate his enthusiasm. I realize it's sometimes cheaper to go to a Petco or Petsmart but for a few dollars more, I'd rather put my money into a business that's in the neighborhood with great people. I love this place! When I first moved into the area, I was looking for a pet store that would be my go to. King is my baby and I like small businesses that treat you like family. This is definitely one of them! All the staff members are super nice and know exactly what you need. One of the staff members (totally forgot his name I'm sorry!) is very knowledgeable about pits. He even recommended coconut oil, among other products, for my cousin's pit who is a rescue (he had some bad skin patches from the dog fights :( )Never thought about it and voila!
