This incredible family-owned small business pharmacy has been apart of my healthcare and well-being for over 15 years. When I was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 22, the owner Raj was overwhelmingly compassionate and always made sure my medications were in stock and would call with friendly check-ins and updates as needed. Manny now handles daily operations and I'm honored to call him my friend. Prompt deliveries of medications to my place of work (when I couldn't make it in person) and lovely surprise gifts (candles, supplements, etc.) make this place a treasure in the community. I have been coming to West 14th Street pharmacy for over 20 years. The first owner I worked with was Raj. He was an amazing, compassionate man who made sure I had my refills. Then I worked with his sister Raji. She was also stellar. The pharmacy is now under the management of Manny (as of 2019). He is an incredible pharmacist, too. He takes care of my refills quickly and ships them to me via FedEx when I need it. I have had a terrible time working with OptumRx and CVS mail order pharmacy. With Manny, I know I'm in good hands. He knows me by name. I can even text him when I need to! Who could ask for better service? I'm grateful, so grateful for over 20 years of service, and I look forward to continuing to work with this pharmacy for as long as I can! read more

I have been using 14th St Prescription for a little over 10 years. They have always been great, but this past year they have been exceptional. I am diabetic and I have insurance that is always asking for me to use their prescription services. There is no way I would get the personal service that I get here. I am continually changing prescriptions or adding new ones, that the insurance company won't cover or has a high copay. On my behalf 14th Street makes all the calls or emails to my doctors, the insurance company and the pharmaceutical companies for coupons if needed. They have worked magic on my copays, they keep track of all my prescriptions, call my doctors when they run out, and deliver them all monthly. I am extremely grateful for this pharmacy, they have taken care of all my needs without me having to make any extra calls to my doctors or the insurance companies. If you are on medications regularly, I highly recommend 14th Street to give you personal service and care. read more

To get right to the point: 14th Street Prescription Center is the best experience I've ever had in a customer service environment. It's worthy of 5 Stars and many more. The owner, Manny, is truly the BEST I've ever encountered. Here's one illustration of his excellence as my Pharmacist. Recently, I was out of town on business and forgot one of my medications. It's easy to do when your boss and your business are quite demanding. I called 14th Street Prescription Center in, I'll be honest, a bit of a panic. And? I received my medication by FedEx the following morning!!! I was stunned! The customer service at 14th Street Prescription Center goes far beyond any you will find anywhere. I can say this as I'm old enough to have dealt not only with many Pharmacies, but also innumerable small and big businesses. Aging is hard as much as it is inevitable. Yet knowing you have even ONE person who helps you when you need it most is truly a gift. After reading this, visit the Pharmacy to get your medications filled. You'll be happy you did. Then? This is everything a local pharmacy should be. They are always courteous and prompt in delivering our prescriptions. They've been extra helpful during Covid, giving out free masks and hand sanitizer. We are always greeted kindly. I feel like they really know us and our medical needs, unlike a chain pharmacy. Highly recommended. read more

My husband went in here today to purchase a thermometer. We have been unable to find one anywhere due to the coronavirus panic going on. I have been going to this pharmacy for 13 years and every experience I have has always been outstanding. I mainly use them to fill prescriptions, but also purchase toiletries and supplies on occasion. Every time I have filled a prescription, they would search for coupons for the product on their own accord. I would have never thought about doing this and it has saved me money. This is a great example of high-touch service that they provide. I also recently had a prescription filled and they offered to have it delivered to me at no cost. WOW! Duane Reade would definitely not have offered this! Although, I chose to pick it up instead so that they could save a little money. I feel small business owners in nyc struggle enough. read more

Really horrible experience this morning. I have gone here for 4 years so you can imagine my confusion and disappointment. i also don't write Yelp reviews, but I told the manager I was going to. I switched insurance and forgot to let the manager know. He was rude, disrespectful and worst of all because he processed my prescriptions using an old insurance, I am now unable to fill for 30 days and in a rough spot. I guess that's why people choose CVS, etc? If you can pass on this place PASS. read more

I love this little pharmacy. I've always gotten friendly, professional service. And they go out of their way to be helpful. I first went to them when my insurance company (without warning) stopped paying for one generic drug and switched me to a cheaper one that didn't work at all. My old pharmacy told me that the generic I had been taking was no longer available. But Raj, the pharmacist at West 14th street, explained to me what had happened and went to great trouble to find a source for the generic I had been taking. He didn't have enough of those pills in stock, so he gave me all he had while his order for more was getting filled. I'm sure I couldn't have gotten such helpful service at a big chain drugstore. Horrible!!!!! I had been going here for a while. All of a sudden a few months ago I was being treated rude by the staff. The last straw was yesterday when I went to pick up a medicine that you can not stop abruptly (very dangerous) and they told me they did not have it and didn't know when they would. What?!?!?!?!? So my script had been sent to them 4 days prior but they didn't tell me this beforehand knowing I would be out of meds!!! What kind of pharmacy is that???? I was planning on going elsewhere anyway because they kept giving me a hard time with my meds. They kept lying to my face as if I was an idiot. If they did not want me as a customer they should have said so!!! I called my docs office right away and told them what happened. They called another amazing pharmacy for whom I also wrote a raving review here on Yelp. I had my meds within ten minutes!!! I am so happy to have found this new pharmacy they were so kind to me a complete opposite experience then this terrible place. read more
