Our A/C went out with a screaming noise (death of a compressor) on a Friday night I called Caleb and he was pretty sure he could get a team available by sat AM.( Caleb was on vacation that weekend). Saturday AM. I called a competitor who came out and indeed validated the compressor had kicked the bucket!!! Unfortunately all distributors were closed for the remainder of the day and the earliest anything could be done was Tuesday. Then I got a call from Roger Stuth from West Austin AC and he came out and took a look. Yup bad compressor but he had options to replace unit and convert the system to a new refrigerant for about half the price of the competition. On top of that, they got the warehouse to re-open Saturday afternoon so they could get the unit and install it. A neigborhood power outage prevented them from calibrating/turning on the unit, but they were kind enough to come back at 8pm when power was restored and get everything running!!! That is unheard of customer service in my book!!!! Experts in identifying what needed to be fixed and no more, quality equipment, and incredible customer service. I will use from now on. I cannot say enough good things about West Austin Air Conditioning. Our a/c unit went out late last night. I called the original installer first thing and they couldn't send anyone out. Then I called West Austin Ajr Conditioning and they said they'd get me on the schedule same day (today). Roger the technician came about 1pm, figured out what was wrong, drove all the way to Marble Falls to get the part and came back to install same day. The big companies order parts and take a week to reschedule to come back. So pleased with the work that was done and so happy to have a/c again when it's 104 outside! read more

Caleb Brown and Roger Stuth are the best AC repair and installers in the west Austin area. I called West Austin Air Conditioning when my AC stopped working and the drip pan was full of water. While he was checking out the AC in the attic, I went downstairs to answer a call. I came back upstairs and he was clearing a p-trap in the bathroom that had clogged and prevented the AC's condensation line to drain properly. He then spent the next hour+ (even though it was late in the day) active and busy as he went in and out of the house and up and down a ladder many times to access my attic space where the problem was in my furnace and AC equipment. He fixed our unit and the price was reasonable. Also our unit is 15 years old so I was happy I didn't need to replace it yet.
